If you are looking to have the BEST time in Moab then book the Xtreme 3 Hour experience. You won't be disappointed!
My husband and I had the thrill of a lifetime crawling slick rock walls, spinning out in the sand dunes and enjoying breathtaking views high above the Colorado river.
We felt especially honored to have Dave as our driver. Having a professional at the wheel (who also happens to be the owner) with 12 years experience driving this particular trail, we felt safe and well secured in his awesome custom built rock climbing vehicle. Dave knows every inch of the trail, every flower blooming and every lost penny and dime left behind on the slick rocks. You can tell he is passionate about what he does. He even did a little trail maintenance and pointed out areas that have benefitted from his care taking. Many visitors from all over the country drive the trails, but many don't appreciate or even realize that folks like Dave and Xtreme 4x4 help preserve the park for the future.
Dave gave us a recommendation as we were leaving Moab that day, to see the local Petroglyphs and to drive the Highway 128 scenic roadway along the river. Wow! Thanks for that. So glad we did.
We definitely recommend this adventure and encourage you to make a visit and take a ride with Dave and his crew at Xtreme 4x4! You'll be THRILLED you did!

Our family of six (mom, dad + kids aged 8, 11, 13, and 14) was in Moab for only one full day, and we packed it full of adventures... but THIS was everyone's hands-down favorite when the day was finished!! Garrett was our driver, and he was just the right level of fun, engaging, and informative without ever making us feel unsafe. The stunts he pulls will make your stomach flip and absolutely give you a burst of adrenaline, but never in a way that truly makes you afraid for your safety. The kids are still talking about this activity days later and I cannot recommend this company enough for any outings. I know that adventure activities can be expensive, especially when you have a large family or group like we do... but this will be money well spent and you'll have zero regrets! :-)

Hands down the best experience we had in Moab. You could tell our guide loves his job and knows the area like the back of his hand. His phrase "Made it!" came quick and easy as we climbed up and out of everything. We even had to get the winch out and help out a rolled Jeep move out the way so we could go down and up Hell's Gate. A group of experienced Jeep owners had gathered at the base of the Escalator for a break and were impressed how quick we went up and came back down. They wouldn't even dare to attempt it so our guide stopped and talked three of the Jeeps through it. All three drivers were shocked they made it through and extremely grateful. Mind you we had all four of our kids on this adventure, with our youngest in a car seat. At first I was concerned because the cost was way more than if we rented a couple of Jeeps on our own. I wouldn't have attempted a fraction of the stuff we cruised through. Worth every penny and the highlight of our trip. We'd do it again in a heartbeat.

This buggy ride was exactly what my adventurous wife and I were looking for! It was a perfect balance of thrills, technical driving, professional equipment, beautiful sights, awesome pictures, and jaw dropping maneuvers. It was all piloted by a very seasoned, knowledgable, and fun driver named Garret. He made the whole experience really fun and memorable! (Sorry about all my questions Garret, and thank you for taking the awesome pics for us that I have attached)!
The custom buggy handled absolutely amazing with its long travel suspension supported by Kings bypass shocks and bump stops! It completed the Hells Revenge trail loop in half the time of the other typical rigs. No “jeep speed” going on here!!!!
We will be talking about this experience with our friends and family for years to come. We highly recommend the 3 hour tour with Xtreme 4x4 Tours!

My family and I had a great morning with Dave and Xtreme 4x4 Tours! It was a busy time in Moab, but with Dave's knowledge of the area and the trails, we were able to avoid the majority of the lines and the crowds. Dave's rig is by far one of the most capable in Hells Revenge. We went over all of the main obstacles and then some (who knew you could drive up a vertical wall?). You know you're with a good guide when everyone else is stopping to watch! Additionally, I really appreciated Dave's initiative to keep the area safe, clean, and environmentally sound. He mentioned how he comes back to the trail after hours to clean up trash (come on, people) and put up natural barriers so that other less respectful drivers stick to the trail (again, come on, people). I would definitely recommend this tour if you're looking for some off-road thrills (I guarantee you will ask the question, "we're going over THAT??", laughs, and appreciation of the beauty that Moab has to offer.

We had an amazing experience with Gerrit as our driver on the Xtreme 4x4 3 hour experience. Gerrit knew the area very well and was an excellent driver - we did all the obstacles and felt very safe the whole time. Other people would even line up to watch us go through the obstacles. Highly recommend doing this tour.

This extreme Hell’s Revenge tour was an absolute BLAST! Our guide and driver Garrett was exceptionally skilled at maneuvering over rocks, through ravines, and along cliffs. He not only gave us all the thrills but kept us safe and entertained, and put up with my screaming curse words 🤣 . I don’t know how we did half the things we did but I loved every thrilling minute of it! Don’t hesitate to book this tour!

This is the one thing your family will remember and talk about for years on your trip. I promise that after days of parks and hikes, you need to bite the bullet and book the extreme 4x4 trip.
My husband planed this for our family and although the boys were so excited, I was not! We had Garret for our driver and hands down he was the best. It is the most thrilling thing I’ve probably ever done. I would never have picked this but I can tell you when visiting Moab, everyone should do this. IMPORTANT: Yes it’s expensive, but the people that opted to do the other tours where they drive themselves, or just a guided 4x4 were in awe of what we were doing. Spend the money and do this right. It’s a once in a lifetime experience. We would literally pass them sideways, and they were taking pictures of us! There would be a clear path to go and Garret took us on the most insane, oddly defying route he could but I promise he handled it masterfully and we never felt like he didn’t have control.
We did the 3 hour sunset Hells Revenge Tour and he made 3 stops for us to get out and take it all in. Best trip ever!

Wife and I spent 10days in Moab tooling around the trails and such. Without a doubt, the sunset Xtreme 4x4 tour with Dave was the funnest (it's a word, trust me) part of the trip.
Dave's skill behind the wheel is top notch. His banter/chat with us riders was relaxing and his sarcasm was spot on.
me: hey Dave, how long you been doing this?
Dave: (looks at watch) about 45minutes
Anyhow, his skills came to life once we hit the Hell's Revenge area. He took us on all the obstacles, which he cleared with expert level skill. There's something to be said about being 90 degrees face up looking at the sky one minute and the next second you're 90 degrees face down as you crawl up and down an obstacle.
After the tour was over, Dave and Stephanie spent about 30min or so talking with me and my wife about all things getting started 4x4.
All in all, it was an incredible experience and one that we would recommend to everybody. Basically, if you're a fan of rollercoasters you'll be a fan of this.

My family and I did the Xtreme 3- Hour Experience while visiting Moab. Our driver, Garrett was very experienced, funny, and knowledgeable of the vehicle and land. We had a 10/10 time and recommend this for anyone wanting to see Moab from a different perspective and have fun while doing it. Highly suggest Garrett as a driver and for a great time.

I am interested in a private tour for family of 4 (kids ages are 24 and 21) on May 9th in late afternoon or evening for sunset. I have checked the website and it shows everytimeslot is booked. Can I get on a cancellation notice or can you please advise how we can make this happen for us? I would agree with others about no age limit. I would say a size limit is needed since the vehicles have 5 point harness. Kind of like roller coaster rides at Disney or Universal etc 42" min.
I believe kids can go on U drive with a parent driving. Those vehicles have 3 point "shoulder" harness.
