Moab Combo: Colorado River Rafting and Canyonlands National Park
From US$ 138.05
Overview
Marvel at some of Utah’s natural wonders on an activity-packed combo tour from Moab, a great choice for thrill seekers. Go off-road in a 4WD vehicle through Islands of the Sky in Canyonlands National Park while your guide shares the area’s fascinating history. Then, board your raft for a thrilling ride on the Colorado River. All equipment and lunch is included on this family-friendly tour, which doesn't require any previous rafting experience.
What to Expect
At a convenient Moab location, connect with your guide to head out on the first part of your combo trip: a 4-hour, 4WD adventure in Canyonlands National Park. Highlights of the craggy terrain include White Rim Road, with fabulous views of Fossil Point, as well as scenic Shafer Trail. Time for photos of ancient rock art is followed by lunch.

Afternoon brings a descent into the canyon for a rafting adventure that includes the Fisher Towers area of the Colorado River. After being outfitted with a life preserver, your expert guide navigates you safely over Class II and Class III rapids, followed by the float portion of the trip. During this, you'll have the opportunity to take photos of the towering canyon walls and, warm weather permitting, perhaps even a swim. Keep your eyes open for river wildlife.

Your return transport to Moab completes your 4WD and river-rafting adventure.

Good enough

The 4x4 tour was average, really just driving through what we'd already seen. The rafting was awesome, the guides for that very knowledgeable!

Boring and a waste of money! Don't waste your time-- please read for details!

This package costs about $140 per person (tip not included). So, what does $300+ get you? First, you'll be taken on a yawn-inducing tour of the Canyonlands-- which consists of driving up Potash road and stopping along the way to take pictures. 1 part of...More
