Andre was a fantastic guide! He told us so much history about Chinatown and how impacted it is by the financial district being mostly vacant now. It was a beautiful day and all the tastings( more like 2 meals plus treats along the way) were so great. We had a small group of five. North Beach was also wonderful!

As locals, we were amazed by how much we learned about the rich history of North Beach. The tour was made exceptional by the knowledge and passion of Scott L., who loves the city, and its history, and knows all the best spots—along with the locals who make the area so special. It was a fantastic reminder of how great our city truly is. Thanks for an unforgettable experience!

Knowledge of area and neighborhoods and their history was amazing. Food stops awesome! Glass of wine at the end made it prefect.

This was a culinary walking tour of Chinatown and North Beach. We enjoyed the food, but the real highlight was our guide, Ryan, who was a wealth of information on the food and especially the history of the neighborhoods and establishments we visited. The city should hire Ryan as head of PR.

We had a great experience with our guide, Isabella. She has a wealth of knowledge about the history and culture of these two incredibly different and diverse neighborhoods. She provided us with different options to customize our experience to our tastes. Highlights for us were the spicy green beans and the tea tasting. But the whole experience was fantastic!

This was such a fantastic tour! The stops were perfectly planned. We tried so many things in both Chinatown and North Beach. We visited historical sites and even saw part of a theater performance. Andre was an excellent guide—personable, knowledgeable, and entertaining. Highly recommended!!

Isabella is a dream What an extraordinary adventure it was touring Chinatown and north beach, commentary and delectable tidbits all along the way. It was a spectacular day and we were tired and very happy If you are in this part of the planet do NOT hesitate this tour dumplings, moon cakes, tea, pizza, wine, cannoli and more. This is a value packed tour, one you will never forget

Cynthia was so organized, we didn't have to wait for any of our stops for the staff to take care of us. The history along with stops to see other things (beside food) in both locations were great and unexpected. We sat down for two meals one in each location, never feeling rushed. We had a tea tasting, which was very educational besides fun. saw how they get the white strip of paper inside fortune cookies. Went to see a rehearsal of a program with acrobats, which we came back later to see the show. Definitely kept busy for the 4 hours.

Isabella was excellent. Not only the food knowledge but her general challenge of SF is amazing. I would say do this trip early in your holiday as there will be tons of take away you would like to do afterwards. 100% this is a great activity.

Don’t go hungry. So much food. Great history along the way. Lots of spots to come back to in the future. Would recommend this to anyone. Does involve some walking (of course) but fairly flat in this part of the city. Guide was knowledgeable. Sometimes a little quiet but we stayed near the front. Took the kids as well and everyone loved it.
