I booked what was supposed to be an Alcatraz + Bay boat tour combo for $130 — a price that’s already inflated considering an Alcatraz ticket alone is usually around $50. Still, I figured it was worth it for the convenience. Big mistake. Right after booking, I received an unannounced phone call — completely unacceptable, especially for someone with a hearing disability. I do not appreciate random calls, and to make things worse, the caller had such a thick accent that it was nearly impossible to understand anything. Communication was a mess from the start. Turns out the meeting point wasn’t even the one advertised on their website — shady, unprofessional, and frankly, deceptive. Then came the worst part: I was informed via text message, after the fact, that the two tours were sold separately and that I wouldn’t be able to do both of them today as advertised. So basically, I was tricked into overpaying for something that wasn’t even properly coordinated. When I voiced my frustration, instead of offering an apology or any kind of customer service, they doubled down and got defensive (“it’s not our fault you don’t have more time in San Francisco”). That was the final straw — I had to block their number just to get some peace. I’ll probably be filing an official complaint, and I strongly recommend you save yourself the money, time, and headache by staying far, far away from this scammy operation
