Yosemite in a Day Tour from San Francisco
From US$ 159.00
Overview
See Yosemite National Park’s iconic natural wonders on this convenient mini-bus tour that saves time and energy. Let someone else handle the 4- to 5-hour drive, and visit some of the park’s best sights in just one day. See giant redwoods, El Capitan, and Half Dome, plus scenic spots along the way, hearing commentary from your guide about each location. A small-group size means plenty of personal attention.
What to Expect
Your morning starts with a pickup from a select San Francisco hotel. Board the minibus, settle in for the roughly 4-hour drive, and enjoy the scenery while you cross the Bay Bridge. Stop for a snack before continuing to the Sierra Nevada foothills and Gold Country.
Enter Yosemite National Park via Groveland, making a quick stop for a guided hike among sequoia redwoods. Then, stop at Tunnel View for photo ops of Bridalveil Fall, Half Dome, and El Capitan before continuing to Yosemite Valley.
Get close enough to El Capitan to spot climbers scaling its sheer face, and move on to Half Dome and Yosemite Falls.
After some free time to purchase lunch (at your own expense) or explore the falls or Yosemite Village, meet with your driver for the journey back. Make a short stop in the Central Valley for a snack before getting dropped off at your hotel.

There was a flood recently affecting Yosemite. I’d suggest checking if the damages would be cleared by then else your enjoyment of the beauty of Yosemite would be marred.
