Lovely boat trip to visit the caves of Santa Di Maria Leuca, Italy. The smiliest Italian captain of the small boat with 10 travellers . There were 2 spots where the anchor was dropped for a 20min swim and snorkel. Beautiful green/blue waters of the Ionian Sea.

we were looking for a boat trip that allowed us to swim off the boat and when we booked this trip we were assured that swimming off the boat at the grottos was part of the trip and it wouldn’t be a problem. This was all advised 10 minutes before the trip departed! we paid 80 euros for 4 of us to do this trip - it is a lot of money to us and we had saved up for the trip as swimming at the grottos was something we had always wanted to do. When we got on the boat the trip was a real disappointment. we chugged up the coast whilst the driver drove the boat near the cliffs and we were anticipating that eventually he would stop and we would be able to swim but this time never came as he abruptly turned the boat around and zoomed back to the port, slowed down near all the other boats in the port and told us we could swim there if we wanted - in a harbour near a lot of boats discharging goodness knows what into the water. The trip was a real disappointment and we asked for a 50% refund which, in the circumstances seemed reasonable given the false information at the start of the trip. The company defended their actions by saying that the water was too rough to swim. It was not. It felt as though the driver could not wait to get back and was bored on the trip - the offer of a swim in the port was a half hearted effort to tick a box.

Terrible experience. We were welcomed at the car park. Then, before getting on the board at the embankment we had a series of questions addressed to a young lady. She did not even look at us and did not reply. Then, we finally got on the boat....the captain was not professional at all! He could bearly speak Italian (mainly French). The sea waves were super high due to the wind. He bearly paid attention, the boat was jumping so (too) high. While driving, he went too close from the caves, another boats (other captains made him notice), people and nearly hit a swimmer! Seeing that I was stressed he came to me to speak telling me life lessons about fear (which I found very inappropriate). After 1h30, we finally got back to the port, where we asked for fresh water and fruits ... nicely refused... To reach the "Punta", you better do it by walk and see the caves within another location! Cheers!

We took the 1.5 hour trip with a swimming stop. There were huge waves, so wi did not stop for a swim (understandably), but with this the trip only took 1 hour. I asked the staff why it happened and i got the following responses: "all our trips took even more than 1.5 hour" --> it clearly did not happen with us, and "i think you went with a different company" --> this set my nerves, as I'm capable of recognising a company logo. The trip was beautiful but I don't think that this is the correct way of handling the customers.

Great experience! Super well organized and efficient on advising and selecting course. Captain Francesco was extremely professional and friendly, adapting very well to the needs for photography. Would absolutely do it all over again with them.

very lovely trip around the two seas, friendly and helpful stuff!the guide was clearly speaking and the view was amazing, they also served us with prosecco and frise, which were very good; will surely recomand to anyone!!

Me and my friend went on the 3 hours tour on the Adriatico and Ionio, with the amazing Vito. The tour was amazing, he explained us all the peculiarities about the caves and the history of Leuca. They also offered us an aperitivo with the typical taralli and rustici leccesi. Vito made the experience unique and funny, letting us drive under his supervision and allowing us to take bath in the most unique caves. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

We have rented a private boat without a driver. Instead of 4h (standard) we wanted for 2h which they made as pay 70e. No one mentioned that you also need to pay the benzine after using it. We find out only after we came back and they forced us to pay extra 20e. Not a nice people at all.

Very nice trip eith very kind crew. We really had a very good time. If you are looking not to waste much money and have a nice trip, you must book it.

If you would like to take a trip to the caves this is indeed the right operator to select. Professional and friendly our trip guy was in the water with us explaining everything. Plus they have very nice boats

We did 90 mins excursion on a small boat with a very nice company. The captain was very nice and friendly, speaking multiple languages. Locations are breathtaking. Worth the ticket!

Awesome Boat Trip around Santa Maria di Leuca in the Ionian sea and Adriatic Sea. The skipper Elio was very nice and we all spent some enjoyable moment in family snorkeling in the caves :-) Highly recommended.
