Smoky Mountain Trees of Many Colors Tour
From US$ 60.00
Overview
See the beauty of vivid fall leaves cresting the Great Smoky Mountains on this 5-hour tour from Pigeon Forge. Visit a remote location far from the crowds of easier-to-find viewing platforms and learn about the local culture and ecosystem as you go.
What to Expect
Make your way to the Shops of Pigeon Forge 15 minutes prior to your departure time. Meet your guide and your group and begin driving to your remote viewing location for a peaceful look at the fall leaves away from any crowds.
Learn about the history, culture, and ecosystem of the local area as you drive, and when you arrive, learn about each of the different types of trees. Take time to admire the colors of the leaves and the view of the mountains, and optionally take a short hike through the woods for a closer look (very small children may require assistance).
Return to Pigeon Forge at the end of the tour.

Rainy day

Dustin Ownby, our tour guide was the best part of the whole experience. He is very knowledgable about the area and history, and his stories are humorous. The day we went was 100% rain and very foggy and we could not see much. But Dustin...More

The tour started on time, the driver waited for everyone and then we took off! This tour provided great views everywhere we drove. The driver, Bob, was the best tour guide ever!! This tour is educational, but not slow or boring in any way. We...More

Highly recommended

Although the trees were just beginning to change colors during our tour (the second week of October) Dustin did a great job of giving us information about specific tree specimens, several that were new to me. The hike to the tower giving a 360 degree...More

They only do this tour in October and November, when there is fall colors. The mountains are beautiful any time of year, but in December most of the trees are bare and brown.
