    What to Expect
Make your way to the Shops of Pigeon Forge 15 minutes prior to your departure time. Meet your guide and your group and begin driving to your remote viewing location for a peaceful look at the fall leaves away from any crowds.

Learn about the history, culture, and ecosystem of the local area as you drive, and when you arrive, learn about each of the different types of trees. Take time to admire the colors of the leaves and the view of the mountains, and optionally take a short hike through the woods for a closer look (very small children may require assistance).

Return to Pigeon Forge at the end of the tour.

Dustin Ownby, our tour guide was the best part of the whole experience. He is very knowledgable about the area and history, and his stories are humorous. The day we went was 100% rain and very foggy and we could not see much. But Dustin...More

I have mixed feelings about this tour. I was expecting a little bit more of stops for taking the pictures. I know that the weather didn't cooperate at all. There was almost no changed colors of the trees yet. We were passing spots where in...More

We went the third week in October and saw some trees turn but missed the peak by a couple of weeks. The trip was still informative but we were disappointed to reach Clingman's Dome lookout but not be able to climb to the observation tower...More

Although the trees were just beginning to change colors during our tour (the second week of October) Dustin did a great job of giving us information about specific tree specimens, several that were new to me. The hike to the tower giving a 360 degree...More

They only do this tour in October and November, when there is fall colors. The mountains are beautiful any time of year, but in December most of the trees are bare and brown.
