Cheekwood Estate is located at 1200 Forrest Park Drive and is approximately 8 1/2 miles southwest of downtown Nashville. The property sits upon 55-acres of beautiful botanical gardens and also serves as an art museum. Take a self-guided tour and explore the estate at your own leisure. Beautiful even though I visited between seasons. In fact, staff was decorating for fall and halloween, will be fabulous and I can't imagine spring in the garden.

The knowledgeable staff at Cheekwood made our visit very interesting. The furnishings, art and woodworking throughout the house are gorgeous and give a view into the time period. The gardens are also pretty and easily walked.
