Overview

This Nashville lunch or dinner cruise combines live entertainment, a 3-course Southern-style meal, and beautiful views of the Cumberland River for a reasonable price, so you can get more sightseeing and entertainment for less. Plus, this Nashville cruise on one of the country’s largest paddle-wheel boats includes hotel pickup and drop-off, making it even more appealing for travelers.

What to Expect

Your Nashville cruise starts with hotel pickup. From there, your driver takes you to meet your crew for the day or evening.

Once you get to the Cumberland River and board the General Jackson Showboat, enjoy views of the river from either the indoor or outdoor deck. There's plenty of space on this ship to wander around before your meal is served.

This historically recreated paddle boat also features a Victorian theater where you can head to eat your Southern, 3-course meal (see Itinerary section for a sample menu). While you eat, enjoy a live show with musical and comedy acts.

Your Cumberland River cruise ends with a hotel drop-off at your Nashville hotel.

Beautiful boat experience, but hokey show

The boat is beautiful, and the city was so pretty lit up at night. Dinner was just ok (everyone gets the same meal; chicken was dry by everyone's standards at our table). Show was hokey in my opinion, but it was appreciated by most of...More

We did the lunch cruise. There were two lunch sittings. We were on the first which meant that when the loading began at 11.15 we were ushered directly into the dining area where the buffet was waiting. This meant a very early lunch which caught...More

We did the Dinner Cruise. It was about 4 hours. Dinner was serviced as soon as we got moving. The Show started after dinner, there was a short break to use restrooms before the show, and an intermission during the show.
