    What to Expect
Come ballooning over beautiful Exeter and see the dramatic county from above! The flight will last about an hour but you will be with your crew for 3-4 hours. The experience also includes a glass of champagne and a flight certificate. Balloon rides take place at dawn or dusk.

On arrival at the meeting point, you will be greeted by the pilot and crew and then taken to the launch site that has been chosen for that day. You can then get involved with setting up the balloon or just watch. After a briefing from your pilot, you will take to the air and drift over beautiful villages and stunning countryside.

On landing the crew will have followed you with vehicles and trailers and they will meet you and pack the balloon away - most people like to be involved in this as well! They will then return you to the original meeting point and present you with your certificate signed by your pilot. Don’t forget to bring your camera to catch this moment.

You will fly at dusk or dawn when the winds are usually at their calmest. For a morning flight you meet between 5.30am and 6.30am and in the evening, usually two to three hours before sunset.

It's recommended that you dress in clothing suitable for a countryside walk and the weather/temperature for the time of year. You may also choose to bring a hat to protect your head from the heat of the burners! Please note that ballooning is weather dependent.

If you've ever wanted to see Exeter from a different angle, then a hot air balloon ride offers a fantastic opportunity to view the famous county from above. Aerosaurus Balloons offers magical flight experiences taking off from various hand-picked launch sites across the South West England.

Early in October I was due to attend a balloon flight which was booked for the afternoon. On the day I received an email with a change of time for the flight which I was unable to attend so I replied to the email stating that I would need to re-book another time. As this was a

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you missed your flight due to the meeting time being brought forward by 15 minutes. Ballooning is a very weather dependent activity and we have to make sure we can take off and carry out a safe flight during the good conditions, these changes are made at the Pilots discretion based on his insights on the local weather conditions. From his experience, he felt that 15 minutes was not a big change and actually most people arrive around 15 minutes early anyway to make sure they are on time and don't miss their flight. You were sent an email and a text message telling you to call the weather line to listen to the update about your flight and that there was a slight change to the meeting time. On the weatherline, there was an emergency phone number provided for anyone who had a problem to call and speak to the Pilot/Crew about it. Unfortunately, you did not call the emergency number to tell the Pilot/Crew that you wouldn't be coming to the flight, instead you sent an email which is not monitored on a Sunday. The Pilot and Crew tried to phone you several times while they were waiting for you to arrive but you did not answer and as a result of waiting for you and the minimum landing weight in the basket being compromised, the flight had to be cancelled and all other passengers sent away disappointed. We still have to pay the Pilot and Crew, vehicle and balloon costs which is why your vouchers are voided.

Finally got the go ahead for last Wednesday evening (25th) after several cancellations, and it was so worth the wait. We met up at Exeter but they took us to Tiverton as the wind direction could have taken us out to sea. Arthur, our pilot, and the ground crew were very
