      Absolutely fantastic!
Just a brilliant way of seeing the countryside and getting exercise without getting exhausted! The scenery is breathtaking, and the bikes are brilliant. Fantastic service from Ruaidhri who made sure we were safe and familiar with the bikes, and when an unexpected downpour brought our ride to a very early end, invited us back later in the week when the weather improved. One of our group wasn’t an experienced cyclist but quickly felt comfortable and gained confidence because the bikes are so easy to use. The roads aren’t too busy with traffic, but the best bit is getting into the forest and using paths which were deserted. Can’t recommend this highly enough.

      Phenomenal three hours
Our family of five loved our adventure in Gweedore. Everything about our experience was great. The ebikes were smooth and had good power when we needed it. The scenery was outstanding, and we loved the narration in the helmet. Rauairi did a super job setting everything up for us. He even took a video of us returning after our ride. This was definitely a highlight of our trip.

      Super Fun!
Beautiful scenery, great narration via bluetooth speakers in my helmut. The ebike makes it easy but you do need some leg strength and a low level of fitness to bike the 22-mile ride. Take your rain gear too! Struggled slightly to fine meeting point, but if you enter Irish Coast Guard station in Bunbeg into GPS, that’ll help.

Amazing views and a great tour guide
This fantastic route on the e-bike was one of the highlights of our stay in Gweedore. I don't want to spoil all the surprises but would strongly advise everyone who is traveling to Donegal for a day or two to pop down to Ruairi in Bunbeg and treat yourself to a few hours of amazing views.

      Brilliant Experience
Ruaidhri is an excellent guide, very responsive and provided great tips for making the most of our cycle tour. The bikes are high quality and the tour brings you to all of the highlights Gweedore has to offer. The in-helmet commentary has just the right balance of information and time to enjoy the amazing scenery. Would highly recommend.

      Great afternoon exploring Donegal!
We did the self-guided 3 hour tour and absolutely loved it! Took in beautiful sights with insightful stories through the speakers of the helmet. The quality of the bikes and other equipment was top notch. Highly recommend! I’d advise to have your phone fully charged and download the wewheel application before you arrive!

      Best way to see Gweedore
Really enjoyable way to see Gweedore. Great guide, excellent equipment and some spectacular scenery. We are not cyclists but the electric bike does most of the work for you. Website said no available spaces when we checked but we called down to the harbour anyway and Ruaidhri got us sorted. Great way to spend 3 hours.

      Knocking around Gweedore on E-Bikes
We went on a self-guided tour in Donegal to see the amazing scenery. We checked in at the pier in Bunbeg, signed waivers, got a brief on the e-bikes and even took a quick spin to get comfortable with them. We downloaded the WeWheel app and set off on the hills of Donegal tour! The tour was easy to follow with a map on the screen and instructions through our helmets, which were connected to our phones. We went off-road, through a forest, along Dunlewey lake with Errigal in sight, and to a viewpoint with a panoramic view of the mountain range and Poison Glen. We also saw the famous shipwrecked boat, Bád Eddie. It was a great way to spend three hours and I highly recommend it!

Fab EBike Experience in Gweedore Donegal
Fantastic day out on this new venture from Donegal natives Ruaidhri and Sarah, sharing the best of Gweedore and the surrounding areas with strangers and friends within and outside of Ireland. It’s been a long time since I rode a bicycles and initially I was a little hesitant to book, however the type of EBike makes it so easy. There’s a low crossbar which makes bike easy to get on and off. Bikes feel safe to cycle & have great safety features an Tour was excellent. As a Donegal native I was surprised to have learned so much on the tour. Also I was able to see scenery and the surrounding area never seen before as a result of being on the bicycle. Before I would have always been in a car. No more car! 1st time I also came across the type of protective helmet that allow me to chat with all the people in our group. We didn’t need to stop each time. Fantastic! Saw many of the gems Donegal has to offer. A MUST DO when in the Gweedore area. Thanks for the fab time Ruaidhri and Sarah 🤗

Great trip, strongly recommend. If you want to see real Ireland you need to do it by bike. Meet the locals and enjoy a pint of the bacl stuff.

Fabulous experience. Cathal was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable about the area, the history and the myths. We saw some beautiful countryside from the mountains, lakes, waterfalls, ghost stone village, churches, poisoned valley and the serene conservation area of the beaches. It was a wonderful way to see so many sites and the e-bikes allowed us to stay together regardless of our individual fitness levels. Walking tours only allow you to see the few miles you’re willing to walk and driving your personal car only allows you to see things as you passing by. The e- bike experience enables you to see so many things in a slower, more appreciative way. I highly recommend this experience.

Such a fantastic day from start to finish, once booked and confirmed Ruadhri sent clear instructions as to what was needed to make sure our trip went with ease. On arrival he got us kitted out with safety belts and helmets which all connected together via Bluetooth so we could hear and talk to eachother. The fun could still be had while on the road.. the bikes themselves where well maintained and the route was amazing. The views where unreal even with Errigal covered in fog. The rain didn't stop us, thanks again for your kindness and helping make memories for us all. As I am not a fit person, I managed the full trip with ease, approx 36 km done with plenty stops for coffee, photo opportunities. Well done 👏

Ruaidhrí is a great down to earth host and gave us a fantastic tour on the bikes. I'm not the fittest person but these bikes are very easy to use and are a god send when it comes to hills. So as long as you can ride a bike you should be fine on these. Very informative tour, would highly recommend doing this. Great day out. Thank you both for everything.

We really covered a good amount of ground in that 3 hours. The e-bikes are a GREAT tool to get that done. Such a range of landscapes/ geography and sites. We really felt like we had seen the full range of geography that Donegal had to offer.
The bike helmet intercom technology was also a great tool but it was a bit “on and off again” throughout the 3 hours.

We had a brilliant day out. Ruaidhri was very knowledgeable about the area and made sure that everyone was enjoying themselves. The e bike meant that the hills weren’t too strenuous and we got very lucky with the weather. Would definitely recommend this tour

I did the eBike Guided tour with Ruaidhri back in March. It was a great experience and his local knowledge and suggestions were great! The eBikes were great, they made going up the hills such a breeze. Was also really cool to have walkie talkie helmets so we could chat along the route. would highly recommend!

Three us went with no experience on electric bikes, had an awesome time , so easy to manoeuvre and so relaxing.
Rory was very thorough in his briefing, and the link up helmets added a new dimension to the hole day .
So I would thoroughly recommend this to any age group.

This is absolutely a must-do when visiting Donegal! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and fun. He was very patient with us wanting to stop for photos, which you'll want to do pretty much constantly. The entire ride was incredibly picturesque and we had a grand time!

We really enjoyed the trip with the e-bikes and were able to see some great places in Donegal. We had a lot of fun cycling and it certainly won't be our last stay in Donegal. The service and helpfulness of the staff at the e-bike rental was also great.
