Experience Greenville, SC, like never before on this educational and entertaining 1- or 1.5-hour guided, small-group Segway tour. Greenville is one of South Carolina’s fastest-growing urban areas, located at the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Cruise to the West End Historic District and along the scenic, 20-mile-long Swamp Rabbit Trail. Explore everything from the booming business district to the lush parks and greenways. Guided Segway training, plus a helmet and bottled water are included. Dress in weather-appropriate clothes with flat, closed-toed shoes.
What to Expect
There are walking tours and there are bus tours, but this unique Segway tour provides an entirely new perspective on the area around South Carolina’s fastest-growing urban area — Greenville.
Riding on a Segway isn’t difficult, but it’s important to know how to maneuver one. This tour begins in downtown Greenville with a brief but thorough training session to make sure everyone feels comfortable and knowledgeable about their Segway. Additionally, all passengers must weight between 100 and 300 pounds to participate.
With the training out of the way, it’s time to hit the open road.
Glide down the Greenville Health System Swamp Rabbit Trail, a 20-mile-long, multi-use greenway system that runs along the Reedy River, connecting Greenville County with schools, parks and local businesses. The trail follows the bed of a former railroad that had been nicknamed after the indigenous swamp rabbit.
Wind through the streets and discover what makes the city unique, with ongoing commentary about the past and present of this growing region — and a few secrets that even some of the locals don’t know about. Explore everything from the booming business district to the lush parks and greenways — the territory that has made Greenville one of CNN Money’s “Top 10 Fastest Growing Cities in the US.”
This Greenville Segway adventure concludes back at its starting point in downtown Greenville.

My hubby is hard to impress and he said, "Now THAT was fun!"

Add this tour to your bucket list. Our guide, Walter, taught us everything we needed to know to ride the Segways safely through the downtown. He wouldn't let us take the tour until we met his safety criteria. Then he took us from the tour...More

This was a repeat tour for us as we previously did this a couple years ago! We had a group of 9, which was large enough for a tour. What made this different was that the weekly Saturday morning farmers market was ongoing and a...More

The best way to see the city and decide what to so

The title says it all. My recommendation to anyone would be to make this your first stop — Walter took us around the Falls and downtown to show us everything, which helped us decide where to eat, walk, and spend the rest of our time....More
