Thanks! WHERE WILL I BE PICKED UP AND DROPPED OFF? • OPTION #1) HOTEL PICKUP - Most guests are picked up at their hotel, which they can choose from the dropdown list while checking out online during the booking process - full hotel list can also be found on Infinite Oregon Tours' F.A.Q.'s (Frequently Asked Questions) section on our website. In addition to our default pickup location (see option #2 below), we offer pick-ups at approximately 40+ hotels within the downtown area and on the East side of the Willamette river near the Convention Center. The default pickup location listed below (option 2) is ALWAYS available to ALL guests for ALL tours. • OPTION #2) DEFAULT PICKUP LOCATION: SOUTH WATERFRONT PARK ADDRESS: 2001 S River Dr, Portland, OR 97201. Our central (default) location for pick-ups and drop-offs is in South Waterfront Park at the intersection of SW River Dr. and SW Montgomery St, with the exact pick-up location being on the north side of the traffic round-about circle along the pedestrian walkway adjacent to Riverplace Marina. WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T SELECT A HOTEL? - If you do NOT communicate or select your specific hotel when you make your reservation we will assume we will be picking you up at our default pickup location. ADDRESS: 2001 S River Dr, Portland, OR 97201. It is the guest’s responsibility to notify us (during the booking checkout process) if they are staying at one of our pickup hotels. Please email us or wait for your confirmation text from your guide the night before your tour if you have any further questions (guides can answer pickup questions) and will text you usually before 8:00pm the night before your tour. Thanks! TOUR VEHICLE (VAN): Your tour vehicle will most likely be a white high-roof Ford Transit 13-passenger van or a mini-van or SUV in some cases (which we'll communicate to you the night before via text from your guide). Your guide will be wearing a big smile and will probably have a clipboard in his or her hand. PARKING: If you are driving your own vehicle to the default pickup location, there is a public parking garage called THE DOUGLAS GARAGE available just a block or so away at: 1835 S River Dr, Portland, OR 97201. There are several other parking garages within about a 5-10 minute walk if needed. WHAT SHOULD I WEAR AND/OR BRING ON THE TOUR? Due to the unpredictable and ever-changing weather in this area, we strongly suggest that you check the upcoming forecast for the locations you will be visiting the morning of the tour. By doing so, you will be able to better prepare, bringing extra layers, rain gear and appropriate footwear as needed. For tours involving short walks/hikes, we recommend comfortable walking shoes and layered outerwear that can be easily applied or removed during the outing. It’s worthy of note that the Oregon Coast is often 15-30 degrees cooler than temperatures in Portland (even in the summer). Mt. Hood and the Columbia River Gorge in fall, winter or early spring can also require warm winter jackets or rain jackets (gloves & warm hats are always a good idea too!). Bottom line is it’s always a good idea to bring a jacket in Oregon regardless of season. CAN I BRING A BAG? A small day pack (very small backpack), camera bag, purse or tote bag are fine in the van as long as they can fit by your feet, but we cannot accommodate large suitcases as there is no luggage space or trunk in the tour van. Please call us before the tour if you have any questions. Depending on the group size for PRIVATE TOURS we CAN accommodate large suitcases (which will be placed in some of the passenger seating areas). COFFEE & RESTROOM (toilet) at default pickup location: There is a small coffee and pastry shop called "Our Spot PDX" (1816 S River Dr, Portland, OR 97201) on the west side of SW River Dr. (on the side closest to the river) as well as a public restroom next to the coffee shop for your convenience. If you arrive very early with enough time for breakfast or want to explore the riverfront, there is also a charming cafe called "The Little River Cafe" (315 S Montgomery St #310) approximately a 2-minute walk north along the pedestrian walkway along the Willamette River. Please still be ready at the default pickup stop 30 minutes BEFORE official tour departure time. PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: Portland is lucky to enjoy a wonderful public transportation system called TriMet that utilizes 3 forms of transport: public buses, street cars and a high speed light rail system called MAX. You can go directly to their TRIP PLANNER WEBSITE or download their app to your smartphone and it’s very easy to navigate around the city. Our general default tour pick-up location South Waterfront Park is a 3-minute walk from the nearest public bus stop, a 6-minute walk from the nearest streetcar stop and a 10-minute walk from the nearest MAX (lighttrail) station. Many guests choose to utilize Lyft or Uber to arrive at the general pickup location as it's the easiest and fastest and time can be of the essence in the morning before your tour departs. For further questions, please consult our FAQ's link on our website or send us an email or call our office for further questions. Thanks and happy touring! CANCELLATION POLICY: If a guest cancels 24 hours BEFORE the tour departure time they will receive a full 100% refund. If a guest cancels a tour LESS THAN 24 hours from the tour departure time the guest will not receive a refund, but we will do our best to accommodate the guest on a future tour of equal or lesser value, depending upon availability. If we (Infinite Oregon Tours) need to cancel a tour due to inclement weather, road closures, high winds, unforeseen safety circumstances or otherwise, the guest will receive a full 100% refund. Please email us or call us if you have any questions. Thank you!

About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- aaroot0 contributionsTotally worth it!! Best tour of the tripTour was awesome! Rylie was our guide and he was absolutely fabulous! So knowledgeable and entertaining. Took us to all the best spots and told us about all that great places to go while in the Portland area. The tour van itself was average… not the best but also not bad by any means. I’ve been on better and also been in way worse lol. I definitely recommend booking this tour with Infinite Oregon Tours!!Written 1 October 2024
- E1255LYrobing0 contributionsBook This Tour!Anyone with a map and a car could find the natural beauty of the waterfalls of Oregon’s Columbia River Gorge. However, the true reason you should book this tour is to truly understand why these waterfalls are so spectacular. Enter Ryan, our effortlessly knowledgeable and friendly drive and guide from Infinite Oregon Tours. He weaved the million year story of how these wonders came to be as easily and enjoyably as a conversation with your smartest buddy….who also happens to be a geologist and ecologist. Logistically, booking this tour freed us from dealing with traffic and parking, which at several stops was clearly limited. Ryan communicated before the tour with tips on what to bring, the van was clean and comfortable, there were snacks and water, and everyone on the tour clearly enjoyed the experience. This half day tour gave enough of a taste of the beauty of the Oregon scenic beauty to leave you wanting more. We’ll be back!Written 29 September 2024
- Culture7384290 contributionsSo beautiful and worth the day!Rylie our tour guide was fantastic from the beginning! He greeted us with a smile, a handshake and was so polite and kind. He had vast knowledge of the Oregon coast and its historical and geological past. The tour was so beautiful and I’m so happy my family and I went. It was nice being driven around and educated on the landscape. I would book this tour again in a heartbeat. Rylie was attentive to our needs and never hesitated to answer any question or fulfill a request! Thank you Rylie!Written 29 September 2024
- X6389KQgwenw0 contributionsDon't Pass This One UpThe first thing I appreciated about this tour was that they could pick you up at your hotel. Our tour guide, Jim, was extremely welcoming and made me feel at home with the group immediately. He knew of and took us to hidden places, which I suspect other tours don't. He even guided us to the best ways to approach the attractions because some were a little tricky to get to. He was genuinely amusing and indulged us with much Oregon history and facts. Jim must have a sixth sense. Even though it was a gorgeous day, with bright blue skies, I hoped for some decorative clouds to make my photos more alluring. I can't believe that just before we approached Hug Point, fog rolled off the ocean and delighted me with spectacular images. We arrived at a perfect time because just as we left, the scene was wholly engulfed with fog, making the sights impossible to see. If I ever go back, I will most definitely take this tour, and for anyone I know who will go, I'll highly recommend it.Written 29 September 2024
- The_Concierge_80 contributionsTJ saved the day....and made my trip!! Ryan our guide was A+! What an epic experience and great memories!!I left the booking of a full-day Oregon coast tour until I landed into Portland, Oregon. I then realised that this was a bad idea leaving things to chance as these full-day tours sell out fast! I tried every major travel / tour company (Expedia, etc). The only availability was a last spot for 2 persons and their system wouldn't let me book for just solo me. I contacted locally listed small independent operators; everywhere was sold out. I found Infinite Oregon tours on Viator and one of those I called also recommended them. So I called and spoke with TJ who was hugely helpful! He promised to call me back and he did indeed! I was delighted when he said there was a tour I could join! The price included pick-up from my hotel doorstep which I greatly appreciated (many companies tell you to meet them at the S Waterfront or Director Parks and this only adds more cost and time to get to meeting spots). I was collected by Ryan who was an amazing tour guide and safe driver! He's one of the most knowledgeable and spirited naturalists I've ever met! His heart was in every place he took us to; every tree we saw and every deer we spotted, every rock formation or lighthouse. His passion for mother nature was infectious and we all benefited from it! After almost 9 hours with us, he was still answering all our questions with patience and sincerity....and calm despite there being a few difficult people in our group. I don't need to go into all the amazing places we visited and things we saw as it's detailed on their website. I loved the short walks into the forests the most. Ryan gave us tips for directions to trek to during our stops and things to see. He was spot-on with timing too, e.g. if you take that trail, you'll see xyz and it's a 10 minute walk. I really appreciated this so we knew what we were capable of doing or not. Some people would just sit on a picnic bench or do an easier stroll. Some would walk as far as their stop time permitted them. I loved this tour for the various levels of walking ease or challenge. I enjoyed Cannon Beach, our lunch stop, immensely. Ryan gave great recommendations for places to eat and shop which we all took! A huge thanks to TJ! Theirs might be a small family business but with their amazing customer service, positivity, kindness and guides like Ryan, his company is going to go places! I'm sure of it! I will always appreciate him squeezing me in to do this epic trip, of which I have memories to last a lifetime! A heartfelt thank you!Written 29 September 2024
- F7974UCalexisc0 contributions10/10 experience 🤩You guys, this tour was absolutely breathtaking. Truly, I was blown away. Ryan, our tour guide did SOOO good. I was so appreciative of him, his knowledge around Oregon & the hidden gems he took us to. Such a wonderful tour & day. The weather was perfect for it all also. Thank you Ryan!!! You definitely made my first time in Oregon a dream come true with this tour.Written 28 September 2024
- hopedexter0 contributionsBeautiful! The guided Portland coast tour was the perfect day trip. Our tour guide, Riley, was passionate about his work. He was educational and informative about the coast, Portland’s history and everything in between. He helped us out with recommendations for dinner as well as other activities while in the City. I would highly recommend this tour to others, Thank you Riley😊Written 28 September 2024
- V1313HV0 contributionsAmazing Pacific CoastA great way to spend the day. The guide Jim was so helpful with information about what we were seeing, offering restaurant recommendations, historical facts and being engaged with the ten on the tour. The scenic views of the hay stack rock were impressive. Highly recommend this. Very small tour agency. Only two vans. Book early.Written 27 September 2024
- Voyage685798333840 contributionsExcellent excursionRyan was an excellent knowledge guide we had a very enjoyable experience. It was a very well organized excursion a great way to see many beautiful locations.Written 27 September 2024
- marnyb20190 contributionsGreat sample of the coastI wanted to visit the coast during a stopover in Portland without a car. This tour was a great sample of the coast for the single woman in her 40s. I enjoyed all the stops and appreciated having enough time to have a local lunch. Ryan was a great guide, communicative, and answered my questions (pay attention to his recommendations). I got a bit carsick on the ride there, and Ryan's interesting talk was a great distraction. I recommend it! (PS. make sure you wear shoes for the sand or bring a small tall to wipe your feet if you like to walk the beach)Written 26 September 2024
- GoNellie0 contributionsA Dreamy Experience! This tour and our guide Rylie exceeded our expectations on every level. The communication by text to arrange hotel pick-up was very helpful, and made the pick-up prompt and smooth. Rylie greeted us with enthusiasm and made us comfortable right from the start! He was very kind to take extra time to assist fellow tourists that needed extra care & attention to board and exit the vehicle. There were eight of us and it almost instantly felt like a little family. Rylie shared so much valuable information and entertained many questions along the way! Water & snacks were provided as well as adequate rest stops with clean facilities. The time allowed at each attraction was plenty to explore and grab photos without feeling too strict or rushed. There are many options for lunch in Mt. Hood (including gluten-free & dairy-free at Double Mountain Brewery). We felt very safe with the driving style and the temp was comfortable in the van. Each planned stop was scenic and worthwhile for sure. I could go on & on as this was the best tour ever...but will end with a big ten star thank you to Rylie!Written 26 September 2024
- LexKelly0 contributionsIncredible experienceThis tour was absolutely awesome - the scenery all day was completely stunning, ancient forests leading straight down to gorgeous beaches is a magical sight! Our tour had 12 folks booked on but still didn't feel overcrowded in the van at all and our guide Rylie was fun, friendly and impressively knowledgeable about all the areas we visited (and about Oregon/Portland in general!) Definitely one of the highlights of our trip.Written 22 September 2024

- Relax086547057150 contributions10 out of 10. Amazing! Would recommend to everyone. My significant other Went on the waterfall tour with Riley! Riley made sure we had the most bang for our buck and he was very efficient with all the sites we got to see! He gave amazing food recommendations for all types of cuisine. He was very knowledgeable about the history, geology, botany, culture, pretty much everything Riley had an answer! He kept it fun and exciting the entire tour, 5 hours passes like an hour! There was never a dull moment, and I recommended this to three of my family members and two of my friends already. Amazing experience!!Written 11 September 2024
- G4987ZPgordons0 contributionsGreat, relaxing day tripGreat tour. A bit chilly in the morning and I was kinda unprepared on my dress code. TJ, the owner of the business, drove the van and he was a great guide. The spots on the beach are more dense than I thought, so we didn't spent much time hopping between places. A great one-day trip from Oregon.Written 8 September 2024

TJ had so much knowledge of the city, it was exactly what I wanted to see and hear. We had a wonderful time and I don’t think we missed much of the city. The conversation was like talking with a friend rather than a guide. I learned a lot sbout Portland and hope to come back some day.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Portland City tour with T.J. He was professional, courteous, personable, extremely knowledgeable. He also has a roomy van with plenty of head and leg room, making for a very comfortable tour,,especially for a tall person. Highly recommend his tours.

Adam is an amazing tour guide with lots of historical and personal facts since he is a 50 year resident of Portland. So personable, and generous with his knowledge. Another tour member will be moving here and he encouraged her to contact him for any information she may need for where to live, work and play. Highly recommend any tour if Adam is your guide!

TJ is a wonderful tour guide. Full of great stories, lots of knowledge about Portland history, and fauna of the area. We saw a lot of the city. Had a fair amount of time at the Rose Garden and the Pittock Mansion. It was well worth our time and very reasonably priced.

First time to Portland and arrived Wednesday night. Booked this tour for Thursday at 9am. TJ was the best. Toured the major spots to get a beginners view and lived all the info TJ had. Plus quite willing to suggest how to explore and where. Good places for music. Take notes!
We are having a great trip and visit here and he had a lot to do with that!

TJ is a fabulous Sherpa! A learned native and genuinely happy and kind soul, he took us to some of the best kept secrets in town. He was well versed in the history as well as current trends of the community. What a perfect way to get an overview to a city we hadn’t been too! If I were to make one suggestion, it would be to provide a map so we could follow along with context - but I do not mean to be critical! There was just so much to see and I’m a visual learner and I like to take notes! 😎🤗
