    What to Expect
Hop-on board one of our custom equipped 4x4 vehicles or a luxury Mercedes Benz, kick back and get ready to take in the majesty of the Columbia River Gorge and Mount Hood. You'll ride along the Historic Columbia River Gorge Highway and slip into the past as your native Oregonian guide takes you through the history of this renowned region. Stopping at Chanticleer viewpoint, Crown Point, and the Vista House you'll be perfectly positioned for breathtaking views and stunning photographs. Learn what makes the Gorge so geologically unique and why it's a nationally designated Scenic Area.

Home to one of the highest concentrations of waterfalls, your guide will handpick the best falls to visit and take you on an unforgettable tour. From Wahkeena Falls to the infamous 620 foot Multnomah Falls to a several secret locals-only spots, you'll see the full expanse of everything the Gorge has to offer. Sound fishy? It better! Next comes Oregon's largest fish hatchery and Sturgeon Research Center and the Salmon ladders at the rushing Bonneville Dam.

Let it all sink in with lunch, a glass of wine, or fresh Oregon fruit in Hood River, the windsurfing capital of the world. The nearby Hood River Valley grows the best pears, apples, and cherries in the Pacific Northwest! Onward and upward: from there you’ll ascend the gorgeous east side of Mount Hood, Oregon’s tallest volcano, to the Timberline Lodge, a National Historic Landmark. The lodge is nestled on the south side of the mountain at an elevation of 6,000 feet and was famously featured in the classic Jack Nicholson film “The Shining.”

Starting bright and early at 9am and running through 5pm, this daylong tour is a fantastic introduction to the Oregonian landscape. Grab a light jacket, throw on some comfortable shoes, pack your camera, and get ready to experience the spectacular Columbia River Gorge and Mount Hood loop!
