Oregon Coast Tour from Portland
US$ 129.00
Overview
Explore Oregon’s rocky northern coastline on this scenic full-day trip from Portland. Travel the picturesque US Hwy 101 through quaint beach towns, stopping in Cannon Beach, Ecola State Park, Manzanita, and Oswald West State Park. Spend a luxurious day enjoying panoramic coastal views, geological wonders, and wind-swept beaches.
What to Expect
Your luxury mini-coach departs bright and early from an area near Director Park in downtown Portland.

Your first stop is at Ecola State Park, where you can take in stunning views of the Oregon coastline.

Next up is Cannon Beach. Upon arrival, head to Haystack rock, an enormous monolith that earned fame in the film The Goonies. Walk all the way to Haystack’s base (if the tide is out), explore tide pools and glimpse scurrying sea creatures. Enjoy lunch (own expense) in the town of Cannon Beach at your preferred local eatery.

After lunch, reboard your mini-coach for a southbound tour along the famous coastal US Highway 101. Along the way, explore the unique beauty of the Oregon coast and stop at beautiful beaches along the way. Stop at breathtaking scenic overlooks, admire the Pacific Ocean as it crashes along the cliffs, and visit other small towns that dot the coastline. Upon arriving at the Neahkahnie Overlook, keep a look out for gray whales while gazing out into Tillamook Bay.

Continue south until you reach the small town of Manzanita. You can wander the beach, shop for treasures on Laneda Avenue, or relax with a cup of coffee.

Afterward, one of your last stops is at Oswald West State Park.

Your tour concludes back at the starting point, in downtown Portland.

Beach after beach

Tour picks you up from Director park. Comfortable bus and snacks/drinks offered. Oregon beaches are beautiful but you know after 2-3 you get sick of them. I wish perhaps one would have skipped and have longer lunch time in Cannon beach. Or included one non...More

Brin, our tour guide, took us to many different places along an 8-mile stretch of this beautiful coast line. Great stops, time to explore ( although I always want more time at the beach), and learned alot about this beautiful state. Small group (only 10...More

Sightseeing at its best

I am in town on work and traveling solo. I figured this would be the best way to explore the coast. The stops are really quick but you do get a lot of them in during the trip. I would have liked spending more time...More

Sorry there is no time do hikes at any of the parks. I would say we were only there for about 30 minutes max. Remember, These tours are to give you a taste of the coast.

Hi, the tour was about 8 hours. It was nice as it was multiple stops so it didn't feel like you were riding in a van all day. Andy was very conscience of the time and had us all back in Portland at 5:00 p.m.

The above answer by adamcinj sounds very reasonable as the answer to your question. I will also say that our guide told us they can be reached directly at any time. I'd give them a call! When I called to confirm our pick... More
