absolutely fantastic trip! went out early in the morning to a lake outside of chennai and walked around with out tour guide for ~2,5h. he was very friendly and knowledgeable, answering all our questions. we were a group of mixed birding-levels but all had fun. bee-eaters, kingfishers, storks, herons and a variety of smaller birds were great to spot. booked the extra cab option and our driver was reliable and nice. definitely recommend this option as far-away places can be a burden to get to/away from. 10/10 would do again

I contacted the Key Terns team in late January to discuss my plans to attend the Kumbh Mela in February. Acknowledging that it would be a daunting task, I asked if they could help arrange my journey. The itinerary included stops from Delhi to Lucknow, Prayagraj, Ayodhya, back to Lucknow, and finally returning to Delhi—all within 7 days. They meticulously considered every detail, especially since I was traveling alone with my teenage daughter. They did an amazing job! I would give them 10/5 stars. I was able to book Subbu on short notice the day before I flew over to India for a last minute work trip. (But certainly avoid last minute because he is working through an agency so there is coordination/confirmation lead times). After working through some logistics via WhatsApp we met at a nearby pick-up downtown spot and he directed my driver to a local spot on “the great salt lake” as Google calls it south of the city with better air, less noise, and more birds! We saw so many great birds - bee-eaters(green & blue), king fishers(blue, pied, white-throated), lapwing, Indian spotted duck, open bill stork, pond heron, hoopoe, crow (jungle, common), ring eyed plover, sand piper, jacana, munias, barn swallows, ibis, avocet (downtown marsh), bush chat, spotted dove, clamorous reed warbler, ashy prinia, yellow billed babbler, drongo. Subbu has a passion for acoustics and works for eBird, capturing many of the recordings you might hear on the Merlin app. Great morning out!

I always travel with Keyterns even for family functions as they book clean and neat rooms with very good food. This tour with them was very safe. We felt at home in the new place. Food and room facilities were amazing in the hotels they booked for us. The cab and tour plan was also good. The local coordinator followed up regularly. Aparna was always available to check on us and help. Another memorable trip with keyterns.

This was definitely the highlight of my time in Chennai. Vijay, our guide, is exceptionally knowledgeable and brought the artefacts in the museum to life with detailed information about the history and related mythology. I would strongly recommend this tour.

We had a great days birding with Subbu who is a very knowledgeable and personable birder. Subbu phoned the night before the trip to check if we had binoculars etc and what types of birds we wanted to see so tailored the day to meet our requirements. He brought his spotting scope so we were able to get some great close views of the more distant birds. I also asked if we could go out early before it became too hot and he duly obliged, arranging for a taxi to collect us from the hotel before the temperature hit 30 degrees. I’m a fairly experienced UK birder but this was my first time out and about in Chennai and it didn’t disappoint as we clocked up over 70 species in a few hours including spotted eagle, 3 kingfisher species, 3 bittern species, bee eater, roller, golden oriole, fulvous whistling ducks and spotted owlets. Subbu also has a very keen ear and was constantly identifying calls for us. I would thoroughly recommend a birding trip and will definitely go again when the opportunity presents itself.

Travelled to Thailand for 6 nights and 7 days . Keyterns organised wonderful trip with meticulous planning and I have never encountered any glitches throughout the trip. "I must say, this was truly one of the best experiences of my life. I had never been birdwatching before. When they mentioned that we would be accompanied by an expert, we were hopeful for a great experience. It happened to be my wife's birthday, and she thoroughly enjoyed it. Amidst the chaos of the city, they took us to a beautiful spot, guiding us through some exquisite birds. Just by observing them, a sense of calmness washed over our minds. The experience was further elevated when we began to listen to the sounds of those birds. The guide Mr. Subramaniam was excellent. He taught me about identifying birds calls. If not for him, I wouldn't have scored 5. The tour was advertised at 6000 INR, however they charged me 10500INR. Promised a SUV but sent me on a Taxi. They were prompt in collecting the money. After that the treatment changes. Mr. Subramaniam was a through gentleman!

We had a perfect time with the trip. As a family, we had not visited heritage and archeological places in North India, and this trip was the perfect bonding time that I would cherish for a long long time. Key Terns made meticulous planning for the entire trip. During the initial conversations, they went into great detail about what we wanted to do and gave helpful tips for all other possibilities. They presented us with multiple plans, that allowed my family to analyze and ask for changes. The final plan was very well-balanced and detailed. Key Terns took input from us about the choices of our hotels and food restrictions during the planning phase. The plan was also executed flawlessly. All the people were very responsible and responsive. The execution was smooth. The hotels were great and we are glad that Key Terns put us in the 4-star hotels. Our driver was calm, took us around unhurriedly, and made us feel safe. The car was spacious, and comfortable and held our luggage without problems. Key Terns' earlier warning about excess baggage was timely and appreciated and we were able to set up our bags such that we did not pay excess fees. The resort at Sariska was especially nice since it was hidden behind a village, but it was also very nice and comfortable. The food at the hotels for breakfast was very sumptuous and we made it a practice to have a hearty breakfast and skip lunch to be able to do justice to the sights. The guides who were hired for us were knowledgeable and showed us around well. Overall, we all felt that it was a great trip enjoyed by all. To everyone in Key Terns, thank you! As a family, we had an amazing hassle-free, memorable vacation. Next time I plan to go on a vacation in India I will ask for services offered by Key Terns. To any of my friends planning a vacation to India, I would highly recommend talking to Key Terns.

This was a well planned tour by car to see and savour sights and food in Bengaluru and Mysuru. Srini and his team at key Terns did an amazing job of planning out our itinerary and filled each day with incredible history, culture and ending each day with recommended restaurants for dining. We cannot thank Key Terns enough for their dedicated service. Our car was super clean and driver was very pleasant with a wealth of information. We split our time between Mysuru and Bengaluru. Shopping in Bengaluru was wonderful.
