Everyone probably at some point wishes they knew more about or participated in more cultural events but either you don't want to go alone or aren't really sure which events are really worth it. This group is the answer! Hannah always finds interesting places to go, some are main attractions in the city and others are "off the beaten path" and truly unique. Hannah was a terrific guide. Our group had folks from London, long-time residents of the Charlotte area, newer residents and brand new residents. She did a great job of weaving the early history with the present day and pointed out several fantastic new landmarks along the way including the new alley mural at .... you better sign up for a tour to find out where it is! We had 5, 8 and 10 year olds with us and the entire family had a great time. It's a must for new and long-time residents and their guests.

I highly recommend this tour for any one who wants to learn more about the beautiful, vibrant city of Charlotte. Hannah took us through places we never would have thought to visit on our own. She knows so much about the city and made learning about it a lot of fun. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!

We designed our itinerary to include a stops that not only best told highlights - history, sports, arts & culture - of the Charlotte but were also fun to visit - cemetery, park, corporate headquarters lobby and art alley. Thanks for joining us!

🌟 Just had the most amazing walking tour in Charlotte! 🚶♀️🌆 We loved diving into the city's history and learning fascinating facts from the very knowledgeable Hannah Davis. Exploring the different wards and visiting the old mill building was a highlight. It's incredible to see how the city came about and how it has evolved over time. Highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to immerse themselves in Charlotte's rich history!

I am so happy I took this walking tour -- I only wish I had done it when I first arrived in Charlotte instead of at the end of my trip! It was a great way to learn more about Charlotte's history and get comfortable with the uptown neighborhood (where my hotel was). Hannah was a great guide. I would recommend the tour, whether you are a new visitor or someone who has lived in Charlotte for a while and wants to learn a bit more about their city. Terrific!

This tour is a wonderful insight into Charlotte's past and how the city has shaped itself over time. Hannah has a passion for bringing people together and providing education, recreation, and a sense of place (that is, all things Charlotte). I've been attending her city tours for some time and always gain knowledge and a feeling of well being.

The 1 hour Uptown City Walking Tour was the perfect experience to learn more about a city I was born in as well as very informative for newcomers to the city. We were able to hear about the history of Charlotte, sports teams, art as well as the revitalization of uptown, while staying physically fit and meeting new people. Hannah, our guide was awesome!

The tour guide got the entire history of Charlotte, from the trading trail going back into the Middle Ages through the Revolutionary War through the Harlem Renaissance through the industrial evolution from mills to banks and all the way to the very recent Illumination Alley. It was a nicely paced three mile walk with wonderful information and enthusiasm. The tour guide told me she is especially devoted to the arts culture of Uptown and it showed. I loved that we met by the Spiral sculpture dedicated to Romare Bearden, loved the geography and history, loved the variety of visions from many time periods of Charlotte pulled together into a coherent story. I recommended the tour to my colleagues at length when I went to my meeting the next day.

A welcome addition to experiences offered in Uptown. A great way for visitors and newcomers to learn about Charlotte, and even those who have lived in Charlotte for awhile will likely learn something new on this tour. Our guide Hannah made the experience enjoyable for all and incorporated the historical perspective about the center city area that can be hard to come by.

This was a sunset tour of Uptown Charlotte, which lasted right at an hour, and finished at sunset. We had a nice sized group, which added to the energy of the walk. Hannah was superb, and you could tell she was an Art/History major, as the facts were rolling off her tongue! The stories of each place were woven together and took us thru our American history to present day! It was the perfect hour spent!
