    Rough but gorgeous
    It started when we were picked up by Yogi. Such a great driver. When we went out to the two snorkeling spots the seas were a little rough but we felt safe with the crew at all times. The fishes were colorful and we saw many varieties. We even got to feed them! Absolutely delightful.

    We loved the ATV bikes and the monkey forest, it was the best way to roam around Ubud. Our driver Adi had lots of patience taking us around for the whole day 😊

    Ubud day trip
    Our tour guide Dika was amazing. Spoke very good English and was very informative about all the places we went to. He took photos of us as well at all of the locations. Would definitely recommend!

    Bali ATV, water full and monkey forest.
    Good tour to do whilst staying in Bali. Was a fun day. Vitho was our driver, he was very nice. checked us in to every location and waited until we were ready to Leave. Very good driver, felt safe.

    My second trip with this company and our driver Wah. Another amazing day out exploring Bali. The ATV’s are a must & the elephant sanctuary & monkey forest was an incredible experience. Definitely recommend this trip & could not speak more highly of our driver Wah.

    The whole tour was amazing ! From the snorkeling to the food to the waterfalls. Our guide Kuta was so lovely. Gave us a lot of information about the culture. He was funny and kind and took us right into all the spots. The kids were wowed and it’s hard to please teenagers sometimes

    Perfect activity when you are in Bali. Denny was amazing with us and very kind. He took us with safety and explain us a lot of things about Ubud. I recommanded him as a guide.

Amazing Bali

After researching we came up with an itinerary for four days Bali attractions and covered most of the places such as Bali Swing; Heavens Gate; waterfall; Ubud; Blue Lagoon snorkeling etc. we decided to hire a car with driver as we wanted to cover these places at our leisure and we requested Legi (our driver) to take us around.
Legi was so good, glad we hired him. He rearranged our itinerary in such a way that the trips became less tiring and enjoyable. Legi was open to any requests and happily accommodated all needs. He gave us his whatsapp no. (+62 859-6901-0788) so we never lost him. He dropped us right at the door of each attraction and when we called him he picked us up from there. He even accompanied us to places where we easily found parking. He took our pictures provided us with cold water and even gave us umbrellas when it was raining
I would highly recommend Legi for anyone who need personalised sightseeing service in Bali.

AN AMAZING TIME IN BALI! ADIK IS AWESOME

We have just finished our tour of Bali with Atik and we have had the best time!! We had just one day to experience Bali from our cruise ship and we’re so happy we picked this was to do it. Our cruise ship arrived late but Atik and was happy to wait for us and never made us feel like we were keeping him waiting. He sent a photo of his sign and we found him straight away. He learnt all our names and we were given water and WiFi in the car (and air con!!).

After an amazing time at the Monkey Sanctuary he took us to a brilliant restaurant for lunch. We had MAJOR rain from then on but still Atik managed to provide us with an itinerary which meant we still got to see Bali, he was flexible with weather, timings and stops. He was happy to take us to an ATM too. We managed to also visit a temple, swing, coffee plantation and he even took us to a fire dance in the evening. It was a full day of adventure.

Our monsoon day in Bali could have been a complete bust but Atik made sure we enjoyed every second remarking that we only had one day so he was going to ensure we made the most of it. He made sure we were happy, dry (umberellas!) and always organised. Thank you for making our day in Bali AMAZING!! We couldn’t have asked for a better driver and his English was excellent.

If you’re thinking of booking this tour - don’t hesitate, you honestly won’t regret it. We were a group of 25-35 year olds but honestly think it would suit anyone. We were really eager to leave this review and share our thanks :)

Great service, excellent way to explore Ubud & Balinese culture!

Couldn’t recommend this tour enough, our lovely guide made the day easy, exciting and kept us informed about the Balinese culture which we loved. Was exactly as described, went to all the stops and was very flexible with the amount of time needed at each. We didn’t expect it to be a private tour for just the two of us so we were very pleased! Very safe driving, great photographer and very well spoken English by our guide. We felt very comfortable and welcomed throughout the day. Very enjoyable!

Worth it!

I was searching on trip advisor for tours that included the main places that me and my best friend wanted to visit. We were mostly interested in a waterfall, monkey forest, and the swing. This was the one that I found that had everything we wanted to see with a great price! We picked the earliest pickup time of 0800. Legi was our driver, the sweetest!!! He asked where we would like to go first, not a set itinerary. It was just us two, so it was basically a private tour/driver. None of the admissions to the attractions are included in the price of the tour ticket. They range from 5k - 80k rupiahs. The waterfall had barely anyone there since we went first at 0830, so if you want nice pics, go early! We were lucky to be able to dodge the rain; but sweet Legi had umbrellas for us and bought us cold water bottles. He also took us to a lunch place after the swings, which was great! Seems all the tours stopped there. Overall, i could have done without the rice terraces and the water temple. Everything else was great!

Legi never rushed us. He allowed us to take as much time as we wanted at the attractions. He told us where to meet him and gave me his WhatsApp in case I couldn’t find him. He was so nice! Thanks Legi!

Ubud day trip experience with Gede

Our driver/tour guide, Gede, was absolutely amazing! He was waiting at the hotel pickup first thing in the morning with a couple of waters ready for us incase we forgot, during the day he was talkative and fun, telling us stories about himself and the culture. He explained every question we had and was fantastic at giving us space/time if we wanted. He also helped translating and even getting us a better deal on our currency exchange. He also planned the day so we did the busiest tourist attractions at quieter times to avoid the crowds. He let us choose how we wanted the day to run and how long to spend at each place.

During the day we went to the beautiful waterfall(IDR20,000 pp), Gede took literally 100 photos making sure we did lots of poses and had perfect lighting. It was very entertaining and extremely appreciated.

Then we went and visited a Hindu temple (IDR 30,000pp) where he explained the religion and the history of the temple as well as feeding the koi fish.

As an extra we asked to see some of the silver shops in Ubud and he took us to a little shop to have a look around.

Then we went to the coffee plantation (free) and tried about 12 different coffees and teas, there was the special animal coffee that was IDR 50,000 per cup. The coffees and teas were amazing and well worth the try.

Then we visited the monkey Forest (IDR 80,000 pp). You can also get the rangers to take private photos of you with the monkeys for IDR 50,000 for either 1 person or 1 couple.
The monkeys were very funny but also cheeky so you should leave any food and valuables that you can’t hide behind in the car as the monkeys can and will climb on you and take things.

Then we did a beautiful photo shoot at “Bali happy swing” (IDR 300,000 pp all inclusive package with the dress and 11 locations). This is well worth it for any couples or friends wanting cute or romantic photos.
The staff at the happy swing were funny and entertaining and made the photo shoot feel more natural and spontaneous with genuine smiles all around.

Then we went to green terrace restaurant a little place with a beautiful view over the rice paddy and you can see the flying fox and flying bicycle from the deck. The food was delicious and around IDR 60,000 - 70,000 per main meal.

Overall it was an amazing day and would recommend to anyone go wants to experience Bali culture and some Bali experiences.

Fantastic day tour with Adhi!

We’ve just finished our day tour with Smile and we couldn’t wait to write our review.

Adhi our tour guide was really friendly and gave us a warm welcome that set the tone of the day.

Through the day we fit in everything on the itinerary and he helped us with providing local knowledge about the area, culture and about life in Bali.

We had lots of fun and lautghter in between our stops which made the travelling between stops enjoyable too.

Adhi speaks great English despite being very humble about it.

I would recommend anyone wanting to experience Ubud in a day to do this tour and ask for Adhi to be your driver. You will have a great day!

Perfect day! Great way to see beautiful sights of Ubud!

We did the tour of Ubud area with the excellent guide, Wayan Juliartha. He was so very friendly and knowledgeable and made sure we had a perfect day. He shared lots of interesting information about Bali with us and I really appreciated hearing his insights on Balinese culture and family.

I highly recommend doing the water purification ceremony at the Water Temple. I hadn’t intended to do this, but my daughter and I decided to after watching it for a bit in the temple and I am so glad we did. Wayan explained the meaning of and the different steps in the ceremony.

We got great tips and information everywhere, especially too for the Monkey Forest, so didn’t have to worry about monkeys grabbing out things! This is a very full tour and very stop was great. Wayan paced every visit really well and we saw many things, but didn’t feel rushed. This was an excellent tour.

I would highly recommend Wayan as an excellent guide for Bali sightseeing!

Friendly guide and extensive tour of Ubud

Nice drive from hotel to all the tourist spots in Ubud.

Our host Wayan kept us entertained throughout the journey and helped us purchase tickets for the Ubud swing, Monkey Forest, Batuan Temple and Waterfall.

All of these entry tickets are not included in the price and you have to pay extra. The Ubud swing is the costliest at 30USD per person. There is a nice poolside bar at the waterfall called Omma which is good for a refreshing drink. Though there is a cover charge for a table, you can sit at the bar with just a drink to enjoy the views.

Wayan was knowledgeable about local areas and culture and accompanies us everywhere in the tour.
Nice and friendly guide and host.
The car was clean and air conditioning worked well. The pick up was on time and the host called us before hand and contacted through WhatsApp also.

All in all good trip. The pickup is at 8/8.30 AM to beat the typical rush hour and lines at the ticket counters and tour ends at approx 3 PM depending on your pick-up / drop location. We were picked up and dropped from our hotel in Ubud. If the location doesn't appear in the drop down, you can manually put in the name of hotel and address for pick up spot.

Ubud tour

A really nice trip. Our driver took us to all the places on the list and was kind enough to take us back to ubud as we were meeting friends afterwards. We ran out of time for the last stop because he let us stay longer somewhere else so I’d advise you to be very mindful of the time you spend in each place if you do the tour and stick to the agreed schedule. Also it’s probably a good idea to read up about each place you’re going to before hand as there’s minimal information during the trip. The coffee plantation was the best place as they provide you with a guide who walks you through the tour and explains the coffee making process, with a free tasting afterwards, but all the other stops leave you to your own devices. The stops are incredible and I feel like we really saw the best heritage sites and attractions that Ubud has to offer. I’d recommend skipping the swing as they are literally all over Bali, so that you can spend a longer time at the monkey forest or the temples as they are way more interesting and unique. He was very friendly and polite, we were very happy with the tour.

Amazing Day with Legi

We booked a full day of touring with Smile Tours after 24 hrs of travel from the US. Our guide Legi was at our hotel promptly at 8 AM with a huge smile on his face, a cold bottled water for each of us and a freshly cleaned vehicle. Our day was packed. Legi seamlessly managed our itinerary, despite the traffic, starting with the most beautiful rice fields you have ever seen! Next stop was our request to stop at a local glass blower, then to the water temple, an organic herb farm/coffee plantation and our final stop was the monkey forest. There was one more location on the agenda but we opted to head back to our hotel. Legi was flexible, charming, informative, friendly and patient. We learned a lot about Balinese culture and a lot about him and his family. It was a remarkable day! You couldn’t ask for a better way to start your vacation or a better guide to welcome you to their country.
