    Cirque Du Soleil Traveling Show
Thank you Cirque Du Soleil for a great show. We throughly enjoyed the evening with your troupe of amazing performers. As a traveling group, the energy and excitement of each section of the performance was electric!

    Strange but good
Listen, I didn't know what to expect but it was not a giant baby man in a diaper. This was one of the strangest experiences in show form I have ever had. And I LOVED it! It's what I think a circus should be.

    Such a disappointment
We were so bored the entire show. Way too much of the clowns, way too much time just dancing. Of the acrobatics, not a single act got me on the edge of my seat or seemed to take much skill, balance or coordination. It was just all filler and the meat between the filler was extremely bland.

    Super show
This is an older show but really reminded me of what I liked about the first show I saw (La Nuba at Disney). I like the craziness of all the acts.

Well done, visual, and amazing stunts.
Very visual, fantastic professional aerial acrobatics and stunts. Well done show overall. I myself prefer something with a story to it. There was just one great act after another, along with a guy dressed as a baby which I didn’t get or find funny. I found Michael Jackson One and Beatles Love each had a story or purpose to it so were much better. This overall is well done and very amazing though.

    Incredible Acrobatics
This was a fantastic show. The strength and athleticism of the acrobats was amazing. This is a family show and highly entertaining. The theatre is small so there are no bad seats in the house.

    Extraordinary!
Amazing show! Such extraordinary talent in both the performers and the musicians. The energy during the show is really non stop-you don’t even know where to look because they are coming from everywhere! This is a family friendly show as well.

    Baby is a distraction
The acrobats made my heart sit in my throat. They were so talented and their costumes were beautiful. And, I realize the staging has to be changed; so, the audience needs a story for between the scenes. The story in this show was a baby, wise-cracking clown and a French (I assume that is the language, because no one who did not speak the language could understand.) speaking joker. This was distracting from the beauty and elegance of the real performers. I would have liked to have seen something like Puck from Shakespeare’s “Midsomer Night’s Dream” because that is what the rest of the show was like.

Acrobats were awesome, story line was odd
The strength and control and timing of the acrobatics were truly amazing. However, the story line was very odd. A grown man dressed as a baby walking around saying pappa was very weird. The pregnant naked men balancing on balls was strange. The baby crying and cooing was weird. And what was the giant centipede at the end? I don’t know how these things tie into each other. Enjoyed the show, none the less.

    The presence of evil
We paid extra and bought three good seat tickets to see this show because this would be the first Las Vegas show for my eight-year-old daughter. My husband got really sick so he can't make it. My daughter and I dressed up and went. We stayed in one line then we were told to go to another line to exchange their box office tickets. At the other line I was told that I need to present my husband's ID because he was the one who ordered the tickets. No one ever told us this information before, and my husband couldn't be there. I explained to the staff and even showed them the proof of purchase in my email. The staff was not interested in any of that and I was told if I couldn't produce my husband's ID then I was considered a fraud. Or they offered me to buy my already paid tickets at a discounted price, Meaning I pay for my already paid tickets again. My daughter and I waited everyone was admitted and we can see our prepaid tickets sitting there no one claimed meanwhile I am here with an ID and all the proof of purchase. At this very time, there was a big hair older, thin white lady who walked over to my daughter and told her whatever I was saying was a lie. She waved her purchase and said she can take care of it but guess what she didn't pay for anything. I asked who is she and how did she know I was lying then she walked away into her family group and moved on. The theater door then closed and my daughter broke into tears. They called security on us so we have to leave.

    This was awesome
This was the first time we saw any Cirque du Soleil show and it was amazing! The choreography, the costumes, the stage set, everything was well done and we thoroughly enjoyed the show. We sat in section 204 DD and although further back we felt super comfortable and could see the entire performance without difficulty especially the activity from the ceiling. The live band and singers were excellent as well. Would definitely recommend it!

I've seen several Cirque du Soleil shows and this was the worst by far. I expected much more and was so disappointed. The two people with me also thought the show was boring, made no sense (no plot) and was not worth the money. We surmised that the "Mystery" was trying to guess the point of the show. And what was the giant snail about?! BLINDING LIGHTS shining straight into our eyes were so painful I had to close my eyes frequently to avoid the brightness of the lights. Lights could trigger a migraine. The show was full of weird filler like the rude clown who threw popcorn on people or the man baby who was supposed to be funny. The performers were amazing but many acts were tired, repetitive, and much more sloppy than I would expect from Cirque du Soleil. I wish we had gone to another show.

I’ve seen one other Cirque show and this was just as good. There really isn’t too much of a story. Be prepared if you are in the front row you might be chosen to be pulled on stage and interact with the cast. The acrobats are amazing. There are 2 guys that bend their body in ways that you will never imagine and everyone was gasping in the arena. It is a beautiful show to watch and see what they are capable of. When you go to Vegas, you think of shows and doing a Cirque Du Soleil show and this should be on your list. Check out their website for specials. We got our tickets 3 days before our trip and got 40% off. Definitely worth it.

So we booked this show last minute after being told by multiple people that this show was amazing….in all honestly, maybe for half the price we would’ve been content…but for $100+ for one ticket I would’ve rather had seen blue man group again (they were fantastic). Don’t get me wrong, the music was great and some of the acts were pretty good but we were left scratching our heads at the end.

I’m not going to include spoilers, but nothing seemed to make sense. Some of the costumes didn’t make sense, the theme was….mysterious so I guess there was that. It really just seemed awkward. At times performers would come on stage and just stand there and at other times they’d throw a performer in wit an act and they would take away from it with distracting nothingness. We seem to be a minority here in our review but I’d much rather have put my money on black than see the show. If you see it you’ll understand why. Maybe see one of the other shows that has a set theme. Added a photo just to show we were there.

I have seen numerous Cirque Du Soleil performances and copycat productions as they toured the country and performed in a city near my home but had never seen a performance in a theatre designed specifically for Cirque Du Soleil. I actually hesitated to purchase tickets, thinking that I had seen acrobatic performances before, and I might be better off seeing a different type of theatre production while visiting Vegas. We stayed in Vegas, four nights and saw a different type of production each night, Mystere had the largest “WOW” factor of any of the performances (also the most expensive)

I usually try to get tickets in the highest price range (closest to the stage). By the time I purchased the tickets, this price range was no longer available. After seeing the show, I would still probably abide by this philosophy but having tickets further away from the stage for Mystere has advantages. You have performers descending from the ceiling, actually behind the expensive seats. In addition the first aerial performance has two performers swinging on ropes far above the audience (and way past the expensive seats) in graceful arcs. Being further back provide a great sight line of the side walls where performers scaled down the vertical face before they reached the stage for another act.

All of the acts were remarkable and it would be very challenging or impossible to select an act as being the best. The transitions between acts were fast and smooth.

Perhaps the factor that made this performance special when compared to previous shows that I had witnessed was the stage. Different sections of the stage can rise and fall, while the front portion of the stage has two areas that rotate.

Note – I had wanted to see Cirque Du Soleil “O” due to the unique water feature of the show, but “O” was not performing during our stay and we were both very happy with the entertainment and WOW supplied by Mystere.

My husband and I really wanted to see a Cirque du Soleil show and booked a last minute one. There are so many that you do rely on reviews! This seemed to have quite a lot of good reviews and had tickets available for the next day. First of all, all seats are good seats. The stage is so big and performers all over that you can sit anywhere and enjoy. We paid $86 pp and with fees it ended up being around €100pp. This is A LOT of money and so you expect the show to be the best thing ever. The acrobats are amazing to watch and did not disappoint, however the storyline (which I have read in other reviews and kinda ignored) was awful…. Well there wasn’t a story line! It was random and weird and not in English and actually made the show so boring! We actually feel ripped off for paying so much money and coming away wishing we had maybe paid more money for a different show. It’s such a shame because the aspect of the show you go for is the acrobats but my review has been tainted by how boring and odd the rest of it was.

My husband and I aren’t really circus goers - just not all that interested, and so we never really gave much thought to seeing a Cirque du Soleil show, but we’ve been coming to Vegas every year for a while now and kept seeing the good reviews. We decided to give it a shot.
AMAZING! The whole production is really well put together with tons of amazing acts.
One complaint: The first act has a ton going on, so you don’t know where to look because you don’t want to miss anything. It’s a little chaotic. Added to that are all the latecomers walking past, which is distracting (to me, at least...my husband said he didn’t even notice that when I was complaining about it later). But, after that initial bit, things calmed down and you were able to focus on each of the main acts as they came one at a time.
My favorite part was when one of the performers missed her landing and they had her try again, this time successfully. It reminds you that these are humans who work very hard to put on an amazing performance, but definitely are not perfect - just like the rest of us. And while they make some of the things they do look easy, it definitely is not.
I’d highly recommend seeing this show if you get a chance.

When I purchased front row center seats, I had no idea that I would become part of the show. The “baby” picked me out as his “papa” and it was on. I eventually ended up in his golf cart, taken backstage and dressed in a diaper and nightcap, then paraded onstage. Great fun.
Aside from that, the show was outstanding, with great performers and athletes throughout performing feats of skill, with just the right amount of humor scattered throughout. The sets and costumes we’re phenomenal. Big thumbs up!

We bought tickets for the show because behind LOVE (which we already saw), Mystere was rated very highly for the acrobatics. After viewing the show, it was apparent that the acrobatics was only a small sliver of the overall performance. Most of the show was either silly opening antics to pass time or random creatures dancing around in a circle. The pre-show with the guy with the popcorn was most entertaining. The show opening with the “baby” was awkward and uncomfortable and didn’t relate to the overall theme. We kept waiting for the acrobatics to begin instead of watching 10 min of “baby” antics. This is not what we thought we signed up to see. My favorite act was the 2 incredibly strong women and the couple that was flying over our head. We really liked those 2 acts but the rest wasn’t worth the $72 ticket (each) we paid.

Our third Cirque du Soleil show, and it did not disappoint on the performance level or acrobatics. The stage settings were very dynamic and surprisingly good. Costumes, an A+++++++. The character of the Professor provided great comic relief, and we thoroughly enjoyed his antics. The band - well, kudos to them; they went non-stop through the entire performance and were phenomenal. Fantastic job!
So, you ask why is my rating one star short? We listened to coos and gasps and grunts for quite a while before the show began, and the only thing to tell us that babies were involved were the two strollers on stage. Without them we'd have thought the mic was active in a private room in the strip parlor down the street. The babies did lead into the story line, although it was very muddied at times during the show.
Would I go see the show again? Absolutely.

We purchased tickets the day prior and had no problem getting seats, and I am very glad we did. What an incredible show. Those performers are so very talented and the show was truly spectacular. There's really no obvious plot to the show, but it doesn't detract from the wonderful beauty, strength, and humor that the cast exhibits. Highly recommend.
