We did the lower antelope canyon tour. It’s much longer, takes much longer. Enjoyed the other worldly experience. Make sure you have extra battery life for the camera. The minute you think you have a great picture the one behind you is even better. The guide who took us thru took excellent pictures. Since he is a Begay, his cousin had just finished well at the National Finals Rodeo, he liked discussing that! His cousin is the first to do so. A big deal!! This is a somewhat strenuous amount of ladders to complete the tour, and it is narrow in places, but nothing that can’t be overcome by the average person. I though October was a great time to come, the super hot weather is behind you. Never go when it rains anywhere close, it will be super dangerous

One of a kind experience this is. I have been to several areas with beautiful canyons but never had a chance to walk thru the canyon. These slot canyons are amazing at Antelope canyons. You cant get there without a tour company, so we went with Antelope canyon tours next to the Pizza hut in Page, AZ. Tori was our guide and she was fabulous in teaching us how to use our cameras to take the pictures that she helped us see. She showed us JAWS, heart, antelope etc with pictures she helped us take. She obviously loves photography. We could only visit the upper canyon since the lower one was closed for maintenance from Jan 6 to 19 2020. But this was well worth it.

I really cannot put into words how much I enjoyed my tour from Vegas to Horseshoe & Antelope. I was the only person taking the tour with Tricia & Tara. I had the best day of my entire trip!! Amazing views. The guides were amazing and fun. Hotel pick up & drop off is great. The long drives felt like they went by so quick. The van was very comfortable. I wish this would have been scheduled sooner so I could take another tour with them before I leave. I will be back & definitely schedule another tour with this company. Hope to see you again Tricia & Tara!!

I highly recommend One Day Tour. Trish our guide was awesome. Driver came to pick us up on time at our hotel. She gave clear instructions on how our day is going to be. I like that safety comes first with Trish, safe driver. Mercedes van is clean and comfortable w/ wifi and charging outlets at our seats. The tour included a meal in a diner and we were able to order what we want from a menu. Overall our day was perfect. I’m glad I chose the Lower Antelope Canyon, my pictures were amazing! Nick our guide in the canyon took our pictures who is also a professional photographer. I tell you, you can never go wrong in this photo perfect setting, and Horseshoe Bend was just a wonderful sight, even to me who is scared of heights. Thank you!

It is a long day, 4-5 hours each way. Our driver made a stop on the way there and back, and we stopped for lunch. But the canyon is beautiful. I would definitely like to go back and see Upper Antelope Canyon.

We did our tour to Lower Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend with Matt. He was a great driver and guide. We were 6 in the tour and Matt was 7. It was a great small group tour. We did not get to eat anything for breakfast at the hotel being its an early pickup and everything was closed so Matt stopped at a bakery, Muddy Bees, which was great. Their sandwiches and pastries were awesome. After bathroom breaks and gas stops we arrived at Lower Antelope Canyon. Loved the fact that its low season so not many people were waiting for a tour. The tour is done by the Navajo, so we had a different guide, TJ, during the walking tour through the canyon. Words CANNOT describe how beautiful Antelope Canyon is, and in December off peak season, could only imagine in the summer. TJ walked us through and took fabulous photos of us and programmed our phones and cameras to the perfect settings to get incredible shots of the canyon. Who knew you can do a verticle panorama shot?!? I sure didnt and thanks to TJ I have beautiful verticle pictures of the Canyon. After the canyon, Matt took us over too Horseshoe Bend. Another incredible place to see. A bit of a hike and a few uphills but the view is worth it. We were there for an 1hr and 15min, plenty of time to take some photos over Horseshoe Bend and marvel over the impact the Colorado River has had. We also had a quick stop on an overlook of Lake Powell and the Dam.
After that we went over to Denny's for lunch which was included and headed on our long journey back home again stopping for bathroom breaks. Thanks Matt for a great day.

Let's divide this into 2.

A) it is a place you should visit. Lot of history. Beautiful scenery. 5 stars!!

B) tour 0 star. Mainly because of the lack of clear planning and proper information on their TripAdvisor page. A lot you should know before you go. I guess if the tour companies tell you all that, you may not go. First things first. There is a LOT of driving. A lot. It is not a 14 hrs day, it is a 16+ hours day depending on your pickup/dropped off place. We were picked up at 5:30 am and dropped of at 9:30 am. So, this IS NOT a tour for kids or teenagers, nope, not at all. 1 hr at the Horseshoe Bend, 1.5 hrs at the Antílope Canyon and 1.5 for lunch... The rest is driving, yep, 6 hrs of driving each way.

Now, understand that you MUST wear hiking shoes. You will walk in sand like terrain, uneven and with incline (lost of ups and downs). We saw blue jeans, skirts, flip flops, etc. Not our tour, but on another tour. Shame on them, you can slip and fall, and yes, die. There are many place you can fall and die for having the wrong outfit.

My tour in particular (which was yesterday): the van while it is a great pretty new Mercedes Benz, the AC was an issue the 12 hours of drive; either freezing cold or hot as heck. The driver could get it right. (Funny note: he put it on 80, people complained because it got too hot... Then he put it on 74 and people froze... He never thought to put it on 77 😂) There was no music preselect or set, the driver put the local FM radio (with bad rock music) that went away too often leaving statics noise until people let him know. Maybe some background instrumental music is needed, it is a 12 hours drive for Pete's sake. The van has windows all around, which it's great to see the scenery, but annoying when you have 6 hours of sunrise and 6 hours of sunset; curtains are a must that were missing. We were blind more than we could appreciate the area. Seats are great though. NOW, you must have breakfast before you are being pick up. Even though they said late breakfast/early lunch, we had lunch 3PM, yes, 3PM. We had lunch at Denny's which was ok, but Denny's didn't know 14 were coming, obviously because they were understaffed, not ready and it took them 30" to take the orders. It is not a cheap tour for the lack of preparation. Lastly, you will have 1 stop before the first site (around 10:30AM) and 1 in our way back (around 7PM, while the driver fill up the tank, you can use the bathroom and get some snacks.

Dear Pablo, Thank you for taking the time in writing a review of your tour. I am sorry the AC was an issue of being too cold or too hot and the radio / music not being to your liking. Falling and dying for having the wrong outfit is definitely something that has to be brought to everyone's attention. This happens way too often. Thank you for your input and I will improve everything you have asked tomorrow.

The tour started early at 5:00am for our hotel pick up. Pick up was right on time. Our driver and guide Tricia will was amazing throughout the 16 hours ride with intro, stories and history of Vegas kept the long ride as enjoyable as possible.

For all of you like us being the first timer visiting the Horseshoe Bend and Antelope no problem One Day Tour can take good care of you. No worries to prepare breakfast or lunch. You will soon arrive and pick up something to eat when driver makes first stop for gas.

The tour is amazing for people who enjoy the wonder of nature. My advice is to bring a neck pillow for the long ride. Go out and enjoy!

P.S.: We had a brand new Mercedes Benz for our tour amazing comfort. Thanks to all the people who work at the One Day Tour making memorable moments possible. Photo credits goes to our Navaho guide Derald at the Antelope. Especial thanks to Ward for lost and found my wife’s Eugenia Kim’s hat.

AMAZING - Guys look no further One Day Tour!

We drove from Las Vegas for 5 hours. It was worth it. You have to make a reservation days before with one of the local tour operators to go to the canyon.
