Las Vegas Museum Tour
US$ 109.99

You may not think  of museums when you think of Las Vegas, but you'll come away with a deeper appreciation of Sin City’s roots after this all-day tour. Step away from the casino scene to visit three of the city’s cultural attractions—the Neon Boneyard museum, the Mob Museum, and the Clark County Museum—all of which reveal the unique and storied history of this desert oasis town.

What to Expect

The day begins with pickup at your Las Vegas hotel. Head to the Clark County Museum in Henderson to explore the Exhibit Hall of Las Vegas History and Heritage Street. Here, learn more about Nevada’s past, from the Pueblo Indians to the city’s mining history, and how gaming and entertainment transformed the town.

Next up: the Mob Museum. Learn about how the country’s most notorious gangsters used casinos to fund their illegal ventures and see memorabilia from the infamous Saint Valentine's Day Massacre, including a wall complete with bullet holes. You’ll also learn how modern-day criminals try to cheat the system.

Finally, visit the Neon Boneyard, where many of Sin City’s most popular neon signs go to retire. The outdoor museum houses more than 120 signs from old casinos and other Vegas businesses, and provides a fun and colorful photo opportunity. If neon signs aren’t your thing, opt for the Museum of Natural History tour option instead. On exhibit is everything from a woolly mammoth to King Tut’s throne.

Lunch at Fremont Street, bottled water, and a local guide are all included.

See Neon Sign Museum

We saw the Neon Sign Museum on Amazing Race, and just had to go. Besides being a fun funky reminder of the evolution of LVs signage scale, your guide takes you on a nostalgic look at the formation and the era of early Las Vegas.

A great tour made possible by our bus driver persuading the directors to NOT cancel our tour due to not enough passengers. We were the only two people on the bus and the tour was conducted as if the bus was full. Without our driver...More
