Overview

Custom car enthusiasts and fans of History Channel reality shows Counting Cars and Vegas Rat Rods will appreciate this tour that gets you off the Strip and into the working shops of the shows’ stars. Visit Count Kustoms, WelderUp, the Shelby Museum, and the sets of both popular shows on this 3.5-hour jaunt.

What to Expect

Meet your guide at Count’s Tattoo Company inside the Rio Hotel and Casino. Check out the scene before boarding a minivan that’s been customized inside and out by Count’s crew (when available).

Take time out for a photo opp at the “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign before continuing on to Count Kustoms, the chopper and hot rod dealer featured in the History Channel’s hit show Counting Cars. You may recognize owner Danny Koker as a recurring guest on Pawn Stars.

Next up: WelderUp, the customization shop owned by Steve Darnell that is featured on the show Vegas Rat Rods. View a formidable display of classic Shelby cars and learn more about their history through interactive exhibits. Grab a few souvenirs form the gift shop before you leave.

Make a quick stop at Vamp'd Rock Bar and Grill, where you'll receive a $15 dining credit, then head back to the Rio.

Dedicated fans can also book a meet and greet with Count’s Customs on Tuesday nights. This option includes a visit to Danny's shop, dinner at Vamp'd, a meet and greet with one of the cast members of the show, and transportation to and from the Rio Hotel via customized minivan.
