About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- kpschung0 contributionsGreat value and experience! We had Trey as our guide and booked the Savors of the Strip with a couple of friends, and the food and guided tour was impressive. The service was flawless, loved how we didn’t have to think about ordering or waiting. Would highly recommend booking this tour to try a smattering of Vegas’s best dishes!Written 3 December 2024

- Departure012399003530 contributionsA Foodie's Delight in VegasOur Vegas Strip Lip Smacking Foodie Tour was an absolute delight! And worth the wait! My wife, a true foodie, loves to hunt up well reviewed food tours. We find such tours to be the perfect way to explore exceptional restaurants and savor their signature appetizers, entrées, and desserts. On this tour, our guide, Bobby, was incredibly friendly and courteous, ensuring everyone in the group felt well cared for. Like any great guide, he shared fascinating insights about things you might otherwise overlook, making the experience both fun and informative. If I could add one thing, it would be more of those little nuggets of information, but I completely understand the need to stick to the schedule. We were also impressed by the company’s customer service. Our story isn’t one of a last-minute cancellation leading to disappointment—those reviews are tough to read. In our case, the mix-up was entirely my fault. Imagine the disappointment on my wife’s face when we arrived for the tour only to discover I had mixed up day for month (and month for day). Thankfully the date for our booking was in the future. This made the situation easier to reconcile. The owner handled the situation with curtesy, offering us a hassle-free rain check. It was almost a year later to the date of our mix up when we made plans to return, but he processed it quickly and seamlessly. You can’t imagine the relief I felt when we checked in this time and everything went smoothly! I share this as a way to provide examples where this small business will strive to help when and how they can. Bottom line, if you’re a food lover looking to sample some amazing culinary experiences (in this case all within CityCentre), we wholeheartedly recommend the Lip Smacking Foodie Tour as a fantastic way to indulge in a variety of gourmet dishes. T ps don't eat a big lunch before going! You will be full by the end of this tour. pps the drinks are amazing. While we only had one drink from our second restaurant, those who had the package raved about the tastes. Of note, ...and this is not a bad thing... they are boozy.Written 2 December 2024
- Happiness134206519670 contributionsTom Made our DayTom was an excellent tour guide on this foodie trip. He made every effort he could to accommodate my diet. He went beyond to check on me to see how I was doing with my food. Mostly, this trip was excellent because of him. The restaurants we went were great, except for Milos. The dishes in Milos were unique, but the values were not as dear as I thought they would be, and too much veggie. This tour could have provided more information about how the travel/trip would be (on foot, by car, or longer distance of walk). We were surprised that 3 of the restaurants were actually in Venetian and 1 in the Fashion Show Mall. We were hoping we would travel a little bit, either by car or longer distance of walk outside the building.Written 1 December 2024
- 296sierrar0 contributionsVIP Dining in Las Vegas!Tom, our tour guide, really made the experience. He was incredibly kind, well spoken and knowledgeable about the food we tried and some history of the places we visited. I went with my husband and best friend and can honestly say this was my favorite part of our entire Vegas experience. We did both the Aria hotel night tour and the Resorts World brunch tour. The food and drinks were fabulous. We were a little hesitant about the prices at first, but can say the entire experience was well worth the money. You walk in and are served immediately- full size dishes (and lots of them, I might add)- and it was a great experience meeting people from all over the world. 10/10 would recommend and will be signing up for additional tours in the future.Written 1 December 2024
- HHJL0 contributionsA thanksgiving bummer - should have reserved a restaurant insteadI planned a special thanksgiving trip with my 17 year old twins to Vegas and this was to be the highlight. When I booked I was told it would be at the Aria, but the day before it was changed to Resorts World. Resorts World feels more like a generic mall than a typical fun themed casino, and the atmosphere was totally dead. The food at the first two restaurants wasn’t great. At the second restaurant, my vegetarian food didn’t arrive till everyone else was almost done, and when it arrived it was overly oily noodles with some sliced peppers. The food at the third restaurant was better and there was one dish that was especially good. But some dishes were served family style in sparing quantities. For example my daughter and I got only 2-3 gnocchi each when that dish was served. Dessert was a tiny scoop of sorbet that wasn’t very good. On Thanksgiving! And this tour advertises that dessert is included. Our guide was nice and well informed which is the only reason for 2 stars instead of 1. Extremely poor value for $200/pp. It would have been better to book a fun restaurant directly.Written 29 November 2024

My family and I took this tour on Christmas Day. We had the tour with the owner Mr. Donald who took us on the Afternoon Las Vegas Strip walking tour. The food and atmosphere was incredible. It was a good way for us first time Las Vegas travelers to get exposed to some of the top restaurants in town while also learning about the history of the hotels and art work we encountered on the tour. Mr. Donald was very knowledgeable and showed us many things that we would have easily overlooked during our time on the strip. The food selection was excellent and unique enough for us to experience many “firsts.” We would highly recommend this tour for anyone who loves food and wishes to learn more about he inner workings of Vegas while having a taste of the best that Vegas has to offer.

We did the Afternoon Strip Food Tour with optional Beverage package and it was one of the better food tours we have ever been on! Tom was a great tour guide- perfect speaking voice, sense of humor, even paced and attentive. There was another couple with us and the sister was hard of hearing and he made sure that he was near her and speaking in a tone that was loud but not shouting so she was able to enjoy the stories and history along with the excellent food.
Oh the food! I am not super adventurous on my own but way more willing to put it out there on a tasting or a tour because my yuck might be someones yum and I don't have to pay LV prices to give something a try. First stop we had 2 types of enchiladas and one had crab, which I don't normally eat but this preparation was delicious and I would totally order them again. The second stop cocktail was gin and cucumber. YUCK- but.... that's right, once again because of the high quality ingredients and careful prep- it was seriously the best cocktail I had in Vegas.
Please note that this is not a tasting. You are going to want to come HUNGRY and I highly recommend the cocktail package. We are certainly going to check out the other tours when we return.

I have been to a few food tours in the US and overseas. Lip Smacking food tour hands down is the best, very organize and classy. You get to experience a VIP tour to four well curated high end restaurants. You walked into each of the four restaurants and was greeted right away, you have your own private table with the set menu printed in a card stock. Each cuisine presented looks so good (instagram worthy pics) and as well the taste...so delicious. You can tell that the owner and chefs of each restaurant put a well thought and quality dishes. The food are well portioned you will not be hungry ( so don’t eat before the tour).
Our guide Tom is enthusiastic, friendly and very knowledgeable with every dishes we had, and the places. Gave us background history each of the restaurants and even the drinks. Not only the food, he gave us brief history of the city center and also the artist, the art works/sculpture surrounding the city center. Wow! Tom gave us local tips where to go, what to see (that is very valuable for a tourist). Overall a great experience, I highly recommend it, a must tour for people visiting Vegas.

This was a great experience! We got into Vegas in the morning so we had a really light breakfast at 6am. Our tour started at 1:30pm so we were starving and all I can say is that we were soooo stuffed! The food was really really good, the portions were a decent size and really by the third restaurant you are so full you can barely eat.
We had a wonderful guide Allen, he described some of the art installations around the hotels, which was super interesting and sometimes one can miss seeing it as part of the background. There's also not that much walking involved. It is a little on the pricey side but I considered it well spent.

I have to say, the food on this tour was nothing short of Fantastic. Its staying on the strip/the hotels, but the restaurants that we visited were all brilliant, with quick and friendly service from each, at our own private tables and each cuisine that was presented looked as ridiculously good as they tasted.
Tom, our guide was enthusiastic, friendly, knowledgeable and was also able to stop and provide detail at art displays whilst moving from restaurant to restaurant. It was a real pleasure to spend the afternoon in his and the other guests company.
Tip of the day: Don't eat beforehand! as you get through plenty of top class flavorsome dishes.
I wholeheartedly recommend this company/tour.
Cheers

Wow, I can't say enough about the Lip Smacking Food tour that we took on Sunday, February 16, 2020. Our tour guide Tom was great. He met us right on time at the specified location and was friendly, polite, and very knowledgeable about Vegas and the restaurants we visited. We walked right in each restaurant; we were greeted and were seated immediately by the friendly and attentive staff. Each restaurant was at least a 4 star restaurant and the food was spectacular. We didn't order the drink package, but it was easy enough to order the signature drink or something else at each restaurant. We were stuffed by the time we visited the last restaurant so do not fear, the amount of food served is more than adequate. To be able to experience the tour with a group was great; we met and talked with people from all over the country. We will definitely try one of the other tours the next time we are in Las Vegas.

A must do tour when in Las Vegas. Tom was a fantastic host and shared interesting facts along the tour that we wouldn’t have learned without him. Each restaurant we visited was ready for us and treated us like extra special guests. On top of that the food selected was amazing both visually appealing and delicious. This was a tour we selected to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday. The dessert course featured a happy birthday message that was the cap on a wonderful afternoon. Words don’t do this tour justice, you need to experience it. The only caution, don’t eat before the tour...there is so much food that you want to have room for all the courses. Great for families, groups of friends or solo as we made new friends with the other diners in our group of 11.

My boyfriend and I had booked this food tour while we were celebrating our anniversary in Vegas this January. Our tour guide, Tom, was very knowledgeable and personable! We got to experience 4 very different restaurants around the strip, with minimal walking distances in between! I am a notoriously picky eater, however the wide array as well as the quantity of food, gave me several options I enjoyed. The experience is as amazing as the food tasting, we were treated as VIPs with immediate seating in beautiful areas of the restaurant with zero waiting on the food as well. The only thing I wish I would have done differently is book the drink pairings option.

The information we learned about the Venetian was a added bonus. Made us want to book our next visit there. My man and I will book this tour next time we visit. One of the things that impressed us the most... the hosts knew where they wanted each person to sit. There was a couple large groups with us and only a few couples. How they moved the couples around to fit with each group was impressive.
One thing we didn't enjoy as much, the Greek restaurant. I don't remember the name. It was a great atmosphere, the food wasn't our favorite. I love Greek food and it just didn't stand out.

We took the tour with Allen who is a former chef which helps. He was outstanding. Giving us background history on all the sights as well as details of all the great food we were getting ready to eat. If we didn't have a concert to attend I would've done the back to back even though this is plenty of food. This was the best surprise I could get on our anniversary trip.

Depends on the circumstances. If a restaurant is booked for a private event or if an establishment goes out of business, the itinerary will change. Also, there's more than one of these tours in town which stop at different restaurants.

If I book the $124.99 tour, am I able to order a drink and pay the establishment directly as opposed to booking the tour with drinks and being locked into a pre-selected drink?
Written 17 July 2018
Yes you can but I am not sure how fast you can finish the drink as each stop is about 1/3 hour per stop
Written 17 July 2018
What time do the tours start? Trying to plan around shows :)
Written 28 May 2018
I think there are multiple times depending on the tour. We met at 1pm and went for a couple of hours.

Disregard my answer. I thought that was for the other food tour. Contact the company and see if they can accommodate you. There were various veggie plates at many places we visited.

just enough. you're not tired or anything and the walking includes learning about the great art at the hotels
