Douglas did a great job giving us an in-depth overview tour of the Twin Cities. We stopped several times to see the beautiful cathedrals and parks that makes the area so special. Douglas is very knowledgeable and he was able to give us insight into the history and growth of both Minneapolis and St. Paul. Our tour of St. Paul’s historic Summit Ave with Douglas was fantastic. He gave us a wonderful, customized tour of Summit Avenue’s architectural, social, and economic history. My wife and I do a lot of tours when we visit new cities—it’s our favorite way to learn about a new place in a short amount of time. And Douglas’ tour was one of the best we’ve ever taken. Douglas was also very helpful making recommendations. He gave us recommendations for places to eat/things to do in St. Paul before and after our tour. The next time we visit the Twin Cities, we will definitely book another tour with Douglas.

What a great day we had with Doug! We drove all through Minneapolis - St. Paul. Doug was agreeable to stop & see the interiors of the places WE were interested in. We learned so much about the history and the culture of the area. Jeff was a great driver - who threw in a few factoids, too. :) Doug was also flexible to meeting our needs as far as walking abilities, which was helpful. All in all a wonderful day. Our family of 4 enjoyed the private tour of the Twin Cities with Doug!. Prior to the tour, he reached out and asked about us and what our interests were. He and the driver picked us up promptly and took us by many places in both Minneapolis and St Paul, stopping at a few. We learned quite a bit in 3 hours and felt as though our money had been well spent.

The "Twin Palms" tour was a highlight of our trip!! Doug was amazing to have as our guide. He was extremely professional, informative and knowledgeable. . He made the tour fun as well as educational. Doug, also went above and beyond in helping us with other suggestions for our trip in Palm Springs. I rate Doug a 10+ !

We took a tour when family was in town visiting. It was lovely to have the tour guide just to ourselves! He was engaging, charming and knowledgeable. We spent about two hours touring the architecturally significant Twin Palms neighborhood. So many beautiful mid-century homes and remarkable history. It was fun and informative! You needn't be an architect or a mid-century expert to enjoy or appreciate this tour. Thank you!

We were searching for a fun activity for a group of friends in town for a long weekend and this tour was a perfect fit. The leisurely walk took us though a neighborhood filled with classic Mid-Century modern homes, many of which were in excellent condition and true to their original aesthetics. Our guide, Doug, was super-knowledgable with lots of details of the history, architecture and stories of the neighborhood along with Palm Springs' place in the history of the MCM home and architecture. The tour was an easy walk, well-paced and allowed plenty of time for pauses and questions. I'd highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in MCM architecture or just an interesting walk through a picturesque and historic neighborhood.
