This tour was so fun! The food was all very delicious and our guide, Steve was very nice, fun, and informative. We got to know the other people in our group a little at each stop which was fun. The weather could have been better but it didn't ruin the experience at all. My

We have been on food tours in the past, but this one was very disappointing. Plan to walk a couple of miles. The first chocolate store was great, the owner was very informative. The selection of restaurants were very disappointing and very small portions. We are at a fast food

Thank you for taking the time to review your food tour with us. I'm sorry you found it disappointing, but I do need to address a couple points. "A couple of miles" is misleading, as the route is just over one mile, spread across the three-hour tour duration with frequent stops to learn of the city's history, as well as time spent in each restaurant. Secondly, our food tours (at $50 per person) are not designed to showcase 5-star restaurants. They provide tastings, not meal substitutes, of some local specialties. The St Paul food tour you were on specifically showcases the history and diversity of the community. From gourmet chocolates and Japanese cuisine to experiencing a family-style African meal and sipping some of our best local beer, the tour celebrates the variety of fare available in downtown St Paul. As for the candy shop you would have walked past, it's a St Paul institution, attracting locals and visitors alike for nearly 100 years. I do agree with you that I wish there wasn't a homeless problem in this country, forcing people to beg for food or money.

Andrea was our guide. She knew a ton of history about the area we were visiting. The food selections also make me nervous as I’m a pretty picky eater. I was pleasantly surprised! I actually tried the Thai food and liked it. My favorite was the gelato though. This is

I went on the tour with my 4 siblings and we enjoyed the historical aspects of the tour but we have a few suggestions for improvements. It was a very hot day and so much of the talking could have been moved indoors instead of standing in the hot sun. The distance between the

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about the tour. I’m happy to hear your visit was here on a nice MN warm day and sorry if you were outside a little more than you expected. The guides will usually bring guests in doors as much as possible, if it’s really warm. Our website does detail what foods are included in the tastings for this tour, as it does for our other food tours. Old Spaghetti Factory WAS on the tour because of the beautiful, very local Minnesota rich historic building, as well as the for the fresh-baked cheese bread from a local bakery along with a unique dish. They are no longer found on this tour due to their recent relocation. Our guests love this tour with all the amazing sights across the Mississippi River, but it does mean you end up on the other side of the river. We do state on our website and in our confirmation and reminder emails that the tour ends in a different location / area of town. Most guest find it to be a very enjoyable 15 mins walk return or use of an uber/lyft/taxi. Or we find a lot of guests will spend some time enjoying that neighborhood too.
