Awesome tour by air over Duluth and Jay Cooke Park! We saw the St. Louis River route and heard about the history of hydroelectric power in the area. The North Shore is amazing.

My 10 yr old son and I took the 10-mile tour over the city and harbor for Father's Day. It was his first ever helicopter ride and they were very accommodating and let him sit up front. The pilot was very informative and pointed out all sorts of sights and even knew the names of some of the big ships in the port. A great way to get a whole new perspective on the area. Highly recommend Lake Superior Helicopters

Sam was a very skilled pilot and knew the area really well, it was a great first helicopter ride! The whole experience was super cool and id definitely recommend getting the doors off experience.

Peter was amazing. Very informative about the area. We took the 30 Mile North Shore tour and it was so neat. For someone that was scared to go at first, my wife was smiling and taking pictures. He made sure we were doing good and gave us some recommendations for supper, etc. Would definitely do again and do the longer tour.

Riding instructor was able to keep conversation and understood that one of the two passengers he had we nervous about flying. Take off and landing were both very smooth and seamless. The staff were excellent with us the whole way. I strongly recommend them especially if this is a first time helicopter experience!!

Pilot was great, we flew with doors off (highly recommended) nice way to see Duluth area. Could be a little longer flight.

This trip was to celebrate both my 70th birthday and my husband's improved health. We loved everything about it! The ground crew was helpful and informative. We learned about pilot John's experience so felt we were in good hands. The views were spectacular. Pilot John was also kind enough to fly over our farmstead so we could capture some nice aerial shots. Awesome trip!!! Next time would like to take the 60 mile tour. Thanks for the memories!!!

The view was expectacular, very pleasant conversation with the crew and pilot, we bought the "Aerial Tour" 30 minutes but it's way to short, we spent at least 10 minutes waiting for clearance to depart, the pilot explained that the Tour is by the mile not by time, so be aware of this before booking.

I’ve done two helicopter rides with Lake Superior Helicopters—one in July and one in October 2021. I really loved the experience and loved the views of Lake Superior from the air. The pilots both times were friendly, knowledgeable and flew with skill. I appreciated hearing the history of the Lake and various landmarks.

The quick ride with Lake Superior Helicopter was a hoot- wish we had found the deal for the longer one first, because I definitely wanted to stay up longer. Chris, our pilot, was very friendly, and knew his stuff. Havent seen the pictures they took for us yet, but very pleased with the professionalism of the company.
