About the operator
- Sara M00Unique thing to doEnjoyed Sea LIfe. I different change from the usual shopping or amusement rides. Interesting and educating. It may be more geared for children, but these 2 adults enjoyed it. Walking through the tube in the aquarium is an experience.
- Ahopkins202200Very cool experienceWe took our 1.5 year old son here while on vacation and he loved it! We went while the mermaid exhibit was on and he thought it was so cool to see the mermaid swimming! Children under 2 are free, and it was only $26 each for my husband and I to go which included the mermaid experience. There is a lot to see and all of us loved watching the sharks, fish and turtles swim above us.
- 783keriw00First time visitThis aquarium surpassed our expectations. The displays and fish were amazing! Our kids loved walking through and having the fish swim above us. Especially loved the sharks and rays.
- themaddshopper002nd visitKids were very impressed with the layout. They liked the sharks!! I liked that it is still the same as far as walking through.
- theresecallahan200200Seaing Is Believing. This was a superb place to see marine life up close. I liked seeing all the fish and other sea creatures. I'd be perfectly willing to come again.
- 696karries00Ohhh AHHHHMy kids really enjoyed the aquarium. All me and and Husband heard was ohhhh, ahhhh, wowwwww!!! A good time was had by all.
- Traveler6660600Once is enoughThis seemed to be to me like most other aquariums of this type. My husband enjoyed to more because he seemed to recognize some of the species.
- jcmyers8100Great activity for kids!Kids (12, 8, and 5) loved this attraction! We spent about two hours going through the exhibits at our own pace. Started with a rainforest aquarium (which incidentally, immediately motivated the kids to go and eat at Rainforest Cafe) and then went through a wonderful under-water aquarium tunnel. Interactive items, including a kids ranger hunt, touching tank (starfish, etc), and stingray feeding pool were great. Overall, enjoyable experience and worth the money.
- cboy6500Been once, don't need to go againIt wasn't a bad place just a little over priced for what you get. The walk through aquarium tunnel was probably the best part of the tour. Covid, I'm sure, caused some problems so maybe it isn't completely fair that I'm rating the place. There were the usual things to see, jelly fish, sting rays, and sharks but nothing too exciting. I'd say younger kids may enjoy it.
- elizabethw00100Large tunnel that’s kind of neatOverall this is like any other sea life aquarium. It has a very long tunnel but that’s the big highlight. Not a lot of individual attractions Paid for the behind the scenes but no staff around to give the tour-so that was a waste of money. It’s cute but would only take about 30 min to do
- Arthur P00Loved it.Kids had fun following all the different places inside, especially the hands-on fish and shell touching. Courteous staff.
- dixieh37000Not worth the moneyThis is a very small aquarium even though it says it is the largest in Minnesota. We went through it in about 30 minutes. Buy your tickets online ahead of time. They were sold out all day. And, you will save money. We paid $22 a person online and it was $25 at the mall. The aquarium has the typical fish and a couple walk through tunnels. They have a nice moon jellyfish exhibit. Most activities were not open but there was a nice touch pool at the end. Many people were not wearing masks inside and were not doing a good social distancing. Though it was nice unless you do not have access to an aquarium I would not waste my money here.
- LoveTravel26812600Loved it!Lots of different sea life and marine life. Loved walking through the tunnel and seeing the sharks up close! Spent some time in ray lagoon feeding the rays. The rainforest was interesting.
- deejgannon00Lots of Sealife! My husband and I loved SEA LIFE- lots to see. Even kept us adults entertained. Will be a must see when we go again.
- saschmr00Great Place to Take KidsSea Life is a little small but has good variety of sea life. The tunnel is quite impressive and very clean.

For a family of 4 it costed over $100 with tax. Don’t get me wrong we enjoyed being in glass tunnels surrounded by fish, sharks, awesome sea turtles... they also give the kids a passport book to collect stamps along the way for a prize at the end. It helped make it more fun because otherwise we could have made it thru even quicker and felt like we got less for the cost. At the end you can see baby sting rays (can’t touch) and can pet and feed sea anemones which was neat. It was just pretty pricey for a fairly quick activity.
My kids are 6 and 4 and did enjoy it. As we neared the end I even asked are we already done? I just expected more. Maybe I’m comparing to Shedd in Chicago.

We did a behind the scenes tour with Amber (and it was her very first tour). We had the great timing of seeing the sharks and turtles being fed as well as the quarantined animals. Overall was a great time as we were celebrating 2 birthdays and the cost was a little high but anticipated. We did pay for the VIP tickets w/ behind the scenes tour and digital photos but we did not receive the photos, they said the machine was down since Saturday (this was Monday) and only offered us the programs or kids packs as alternatives, not a great alternative in my opinion as we had 4 adults :(

My teens (and the adults) enjoyed the variety of sea life in the exhibits. The man at the touch pool was very knowledgeable. The Covid precautions were shared often via written and recorded forms, but many groups did not adhere to them, which impacted our enjoyment. Employees could do a better job walking through and reminding people to stay in their group and not push ahead of others.

I attempted to take my two year old and after waiting in line for 25 min to just get a ticket I decided I will get a ticket for her and my husband to do later so they dont have to wait... well that pre paid ticket did not get you in to see the attractions at the pre paid time. He then waited another 30 min even though his ticket was paid for and it had an selected time. Why have that option if you wont honor it. Very frustrating.

Not worth the over $40 USD per adult for the 40 min we spent there. Ripley’s Aquarium in Toronto is way better and costs less. The neat part here was walking through the tunnels with the sharks swimming over and beside you. The rays were massive and I loved the turtle. This is more of a kid friendly venue.

Pros. It is creative, clean, staffed and has some nice fish
Especially liked the moon jellies room, guitar fish and the sharks. Liked the fact you could leave and come back again, which we did.
Cons. Think it is overpriced for as small as it is. Wonders of wildlife aquarium in Springfield is much bigger, with much more and is same price.
That tunnel is sound amplifier and some kids (and adults) don't seem to know how to use their inside voices which made it very loud and ruined experience . We ended up going back in a second time with less kids who were better behaved, and experience improved.
It's a nice place but you can feel like in a line to get through

What a wonderful surprise! Seldom do we get more than we expect, but in this case it is true! I had read some reviews that said it was a little pricey for what you actually got to see in this ocean animal exhibit at Mall of America. I sure disagree with that assessment! What we saw up close was fantastic! When one considers the work to produce and maintain an extensive live-animal exhibit of that scope and replications of their native water habitat, it is a wonderful and valuable learning experience. Well worth the admission price!

Extremely small for the size. The exhibits they did have were good. But we walked through the entire place in 45 minutes and that was taking our time! I've paid the same or less for Aquariums 4-5x this size. There's just not enough value for the money. This is more like a $5-10 per person attraction.

This was a pretty cool experience. The glass tunnel gets you face to face with a lot of the sea animals. Tickets at the gate were 23 bucks per adult if you check in by phone. It is a little short however, id recommend just taking your time. There is no rush and there is room for those who want to pass, to do so.

If you have active children that like to touch do not take them here. My 3 year old was scolded by a teenage employee for putting his hand on a kiosk pedestal where you view your photos. I was using the kiosk at the time. Then just after the gift shop attendant scolded him for touching the rope where we were waiting in line. He merely had his hand resting on this employee yelled at him. Very unprofessional teenagers work here who need some extensive training. I talked to the supervisor about the employees behavior. She of course was another young person who showed absolutely no professionalism.

The only option there is to add children to the itinerary is age 3 and above. How do I add 2 toddlers under the age of 3?

Children under 3 should be free and not need tickets, but call to double check!
