    What to Expect
Climb aboard Ugly Anne, an authentic North Atlantic wooden lobster boat from the Gulf of Maine, at MRA Dock, and prepare for a 1-hour cruise along the Straits of Mackinac.
Travel under the magnificent Mackinac Bridge, an awe-inspiring suspension bridge that connects Michigan’s Upper and Lower peninsula. Enjoy a narrated history of the many shipwrecks that happened beneath the bridge and learn about living in the north country and the maritime history of the area, including local Native American lore.
Find out how the bridge was built and hear about the car ferries that traveled this route for over 100 years. From the water, see Fort Michilimackinac, the former 18th-century French-turned-British fort and trading post, and the Old Mackinac Point, located at the junction of Lake Michigan and Lake Huron.

It was a great time. Great to be out on the water. It was amazing to be under the bridge and to learn so many facts.

This was a great tour. We have been to Mackinaw City and the Island many times and even went under the bridge on one of the ferries once, but this was so much better. The boat is only big enough for about 25 guests and...More

The staff & crew of Ugly Anne were not only Friendly, they were also very informative of both the Mackinac Bridge & the waters that surround it. The cruise was fun & provided an hour of memorable pics & vids.

We really enjoyed the 1 hour boat ride and seeing the bridge from underneath. You learn more about how it was built. The boat driver (and owner Chris) was an excellent driver-he really enabled us to have a smooth boat ride.

Was a nice cruise. Couldn’t hear a lot of the recorded narration, but otherwise, enjoyable. The information to arrive 30 minutes prior was strange, in that, when we did that we received our tickets and were told we just needed to be back 10 minutes...More

Thanks for the review and sorry about the narration not being loud enough. We will make sure the volume is up so everyone is able to hear it. As for the arrival time, we have guests show up early so we do not delay departure...More

The history tour leaves at 5. They have a sunset tour that changes time of departure based on the time of the sunset. That time is posted at the ticket booth.
