      Worst experience
This is one horrible event that I came across. I had booked this event for the family. First of all they don't send any communication after booking. The starting point was written as calicut Beach. We had gone there and found it is a vast place and crowded too. Where on earth are we to find this? I tried calling one of the numbers that was sent to the ticket and that person said he handles back end operation of the portal and is not concerned about the tour. Why the he'll was his number given? Why couldn't they share the number of the concerned person who was organizing the tour? We wasted a lot of time and money. My only advise to organizers is to be sincere. The tourists may give this a skip. History can be read in books and the monuments can be seen.

      Eco Tourism at its best!
The Kadalundi Mangroves near Calicut, Kerala is a perfect example of how the Mangroves protect the river mouth from the sea attacks, at the same time, helping a flourishing self-sustaining ecosystem, where tourists can enjoy a leisurely boat ride with the neighbourhood people take us around in oar boats (no motor boats allowed), We had the good fortune of going on a guided boat tour of the Mangroves with Shri. Ayyappan, a retired forest guard, who planted the ‘pranthan kandal (Rhizophora Mucronate)’ in 1997, which is now a lush green ‘island’ where we can enjoy the chirping of birds and see a variety of fish etc.! The roots are so strong and the canopy is magical! Proud Ayyappan Chettan posed for us in front of his Kandal kadu (mangrove forest). Kadalundi is also a bird sanctuary with 53 varieties of migratory birds in season. Wish to thank Ayyappan Chettan and the likes, who in spite of many hurdles, have managed to save the river and the ecosystem around it! Hope many more such warriors of Sustainable development emerge in our country!

      Zamorin's Tales Kozhikode
The Zamorin's tales walking tour with Rajeesh (Tyndis travel) was quite enjoyable and informative! The history of Kozhikode, the Zamorins, and the interplay of various cultures and communities from across the world over centuries in this part of Kerala was fascinating. A unique history not known to many.

      Tyndis Travel
I recently embarked on my second outing with Tyndis Travels, a meticulously curated Nileswaram trip. Naveen, my key contact, skillfully crafted an itinerary focused on Theyyam performances and exploring heritage structures in Kasargod & Nileswaram. The schedule, collaboratively designed with local experts for Kaliyattam events, was flawless. Seamless networking for accommodation, transportation, and a knowledgeable guide familiar with temple schedules ensured a trip without a hitch. Tyndis Travels delivered a thoroughly enjoyable and well-coordinated experience. Highly recommended!

Temple visit, scenic walk, and guide's kindness throughout the tour.
Sreekanth, has been incredibly kind and attentive throughout our visit. He took us to visit several magnificent temples and showed us picturesque alleys that we would never have dared to explore on our own. His clarity in explanations and patience in answering all our questions made this experience even more enriching. We are grateful to have had the chance to benefit from his knowledge and company during this tour. Thank you, Sreekanth, for this unforgettable experience!

      A lovely day in Calicut
Really interesting, informative and enjoyable tour. We combined it with the punting tour of the mangroves at the Kandalundi bird sanctuary. Calming after the heat and bustle of Calicut. Easy to combine if you have a car and driver. Try and start the walking tour of Calicut as early as possible due to the heat.

      Don't do it
Terrible experience after booking a mangrove tour for 2 using this TripAdvisor site almost 24hrs in advance! Despite information about the tour saying 'reserve now & pay later' I was required to provide credit card details to complete the booking and the payment was subsequently drawn from my linked account. I subsequently received an email from TripAdvisor confirming the booking but advising it was pending confirmation by the operator - which may take up to 3 days! There was no indication of this potential delay in the tour information - which may take up to 3 days! We duly arrived at the designated meeting point in Kadalundi Bird Sanctuary next morning in the hope that the tour would be delivered, only to be told by staff and other operators that they had NEVER heard of this tour operator! No-one answered the contact number for inquiries to the supposed operator that were provided in the TripAdvisor booking confirmation despite repeated calls over 30 minutes, including by concerned officials from the Sanctuary. The number came up as belonging to Jays Inn, not Tyndis as advertised. It seems this tour page may be a scam. Ultimately we took a great tour with another operator for a fraction of the price we had paid for the boat tour that was NEVER DELIVERED!

      Well worth it!
The experience was wonderful. It exceeded all our expectations. Our guide Sreekanth was so knowledgeable, patient and enthusiastic. We discovered places we wouldn't even have known about if we walked around on our own - a halwa making kitchen, a coconut oil making facility etc!

Insight into the stories that make Calicut
This was not like a normal tour, it was the story of a city that you'll never experience or read about on Wikipedia. The storyteller Sreekant took me through the streets of Calicut, revealing the stories that made up the streets and buildings in a way that made everything come alive. The meandering nature of the walk felt like I was back in time and here in 2023 at the same time. He answered all my questions, introduced us to local vendors. It amazed me at how ancient the international trade in Calicut is and how old and instrinsic the multicultural harmony is to its identity. I am so glad I found this company and I look forward to other experiences in the future.

    nileshwar - un'esperienza straordinaria!
malabar is a beautiful place for visit in kerala. Just loved excellente sandy beaches and backwaters. we booked this tour in late september. it was lovely experience. lot of experiences of this village at affordable price. a local man divakaran shared details of the village activities. I recommend booking this tour and choose time best to see the early day fishing activities of the village. Things like handloom experience and local palm wine tapping technique was beautifully displayed and explained. Best part of the tour was village walking and fish market visit with our storyteller - sujith. He was always smiling and had great patience with all our questions about the village!!! the villagers were also very welcoming. everyone we saw were smiling and saying a hi or wishing good morning. we thank tyndis for the tour. I would definitely recommend this fantastico experience to all!
