Mr Bhathiya is a great guide. He knows a lot about the nature, religion, history and nature of Sri Lanka. He is very friendly, you feel that he cares for all individual needs of his clients. The tour is tailor to your preferences. You can see how nice are his relations with other people in the island. It is unique experience to know the view of the Sri Lankan people on the world. We as Europeans can learn a lot. I recommend his tours to everyone interested. You will feel excellent, his English is perfect, the car has AC, wife makes great cakes like for her own kids. We chose to book our 6-day vacation of Sri Lanka with him after seeing many excellent reviews! And I must say that we did not regret a bit since the entire tour was very fun. He has a vast knowledge, and he went out of his way to cater to our needs. It was really a pleasure to have him as our guide. I came back to Sri Lanka as I never got to see The South last time. Bhat picked me up at the airport, he,s always on time as I had him as my guide 8 years ago. Hes very very knowledgeable on everything and all tours in Sri Lanka. He told me what I could see down the south on my 2 week visit. We visited a Tea plantation, Turtle sanctuary. We did a really cool boat safari, well worth doing that, loads to see. He took me to Udawalawe National park the driver I had knew his stuff & where to go, I think I mite of seen around 70 elephants and so many baby ones, water buffalo, spotted deer, monkeys, birds. Just amazing memories to share with everyone back home. Bhathiya is by far The best tour guide in Sri Lanka and I will tell anyone of my customers if they ever go to this beautiful country to get him to show you all it has to offer, which by my vast amount of travelling around The World is so much, from Temples to beaches, National parks by the bucket load to views that leave you speechless! But by far he made both the times I've been there unforgettable because of his knowledge and generally his company, when you travel solo it's nice to know your with the top guide.

We met Bhathi by accident when he was on a tour with another couple. We had a nice conversation and exchanged numbers in case we may need him again and we did! Spontaneously out flights have been changed so we needed help to get to the airport. We called Bhathi and he immediately arranged everything! We met him in Galle again, where he organized a very nice place to stay. Due to New Year‘s season he also brought home made sweets from his wife. In the middle of the night he drove us to the airport safe and sound ❤️ best driver ever (and we experienced a lot of bad driving in Sri Lanka). Not only his driving skills but also we had the pleasure to have interesting conversations and learned a lot. We can only recommend him dearly. Thank you Bhathi!

We met Bhathi coincidently in the rainforest and immediately felt a good bond with him. Later we contacted him to give us a tour in the Galle Fort and drop us off at the airport. We can assure that he is not only a great guy, he also knows a lot about Sri Lanka and last but not least is a professional and safe driver! This trip was incredible! Bhathi was the best tour guide we could’ve ever asked for, he knew the best local places and best times to go where they weren’t busy! He was able to get us front row seats at a local dance performance on late notice! The food was some of the best I’ve ever eaten and the views and experiences were stunning! I would 100% recommend! Without him, our trip would never have succeeded as well as it did!

Good heavens, what a wonderful tour guide! One of the the few people I’ve met who go above and beyond at every possible point. From planning to preparation to execution, everything was brilliant. Now I know why Bhathi (Bhathiya Tours) is No 1 on tripadvisor. Our visit to Sri Lanka has more than exceeded our expectations. Right from the start, when contacting Bhathi from the UK, his communication was fast. We taylor made our trip with him and he organised absolutely everything… airport collection (including a delicious homemade chocolate cake), minibus hire, fuel, hotels, trips and dance shows ~ stopping en route to places via swims at waterfalls or photo opportunities…even ATM stops! Nothing was too much trouble and his knowledge was brilliant. We all felt very safe with Bhathi as he ushered us through, past queues to pre-booked tickets for the iconic train ride and Sigiriya rock. Collecting us at the other end…always on time. His driving is excellent too! Bhathi surprised us on my birthday with a personalised cake he’d organised and if raining, he’d arrive with umbrellas. All in all, I can’t recommend Bhathi of Bhathiya Tours enough. What a lovely tour guide and what a lovely man.

We have spent with Bhati 13 days on Sri Lanka, it was beautiful and refreshing time. Bhati and his family was very helpful: his wife prepared for us cake and delicious lumprais, provided fresh fruits and yogurt for our child as well - it was perfect. We did not organize anything (before arrival I delivered my initial plan and according to that Bhati organized for us day by day), we visited Galle - Tangale - Ella - Kandy - Sigirya. Bhati gave guidlines where to go, where to eat - it was big time saving for us. We did not have to bother about where to park, how to get from one place to another - really comfortable way of traveling. See you in Sri lanka next time!

We were on a trip to south srilanka, from Bentota to Galle & then Welligama. The trip was very well organized covering all important places to visit, with professional drivers & well kept cars.

Bhati was everything you would look for in a tour guide - professional, knowledgeable, well connected and kind! Bhathi was an extremely knowledgable guide and ensured our bespoke tour of beautiful SW Sri Lanka was as safe and interesting as it could possibly be. We spent a week with him as our private guide and would now consider him a great friend. He taught us to speak basic Sinhalese phrases and knew the best and lesser known (quieter and more beautiful) routes to key tourist attractions. He arranged quality private excursions for us at very competitive prices. He was also very good at spotting wildlife! He was a very safe driver and went out of his way to ensure we had the best possible trip. We cannot thank him enough!

Fantastic tour guide of Sri Lanka. We booked Bhathi for a 9 day tour taking us from Colombo > Nuwara Eliya > Ella > Yala National Park > Weligama > Galle > Back to Colombo (sadly to leave). Bhati was exceptional the whole trip right from pick up (eight much needed water and homemade cake) all the au to drop off. He is extremely knowledgeable of his wonderful country and made our trip. He made us feel safe on the road and gave us many tips. I can’t r recommended him enough, he will make your trip of wonderful Sri Lanka. Admin wise - communication before and during the trip was great and always on time. We never had to wait / chase once. So hesitate to contact Bhathi to arrange. What can i say that hasn't been already said about this wonderful man and the tours he provides! I contacted Bhatiya from the UK after booking a two week trip to Sri Lanka, we discussed tour options and ideas over e mails and Whatsapp. His communication was excellent and the itinerary was detailed and showed exactly what was and was not included. He pre booked and bought tickets to the various trips we were planning so there was no disappointments when trying to enter venues. We spent a number of days with Bhathiya during a recent family holiday in South Sri Lanka, during this time we went on a number of tours with Bhathiya including Yala National Park, Birds Park, River Safari, Turtle rescue, swimming with wild turtles, Pinnawala and Millennium Elephant Foundation. He also transported us between hotels. Every time Bhathiya turned up he was spot on time and his vehicle was immaculate. His driving was always very safe and considerate and he taught us a lot of Sri Lankan history during each tour as well as teaching us some Sri Lankan phrases. Thank you to his wife for making us a lovely cake to munch on whilst on tour of Yala. During the tours he used his contacts within each venue to ensure we had an amazing experience especially in avoiding the crowds, for example, at the Elephant foundation he spoke to his contacts to ensure we could enjoy a one on one with the elephants away from other tourists at the venue we were also the only people at the turtle rescue that he took us to which allowed us an amazing experience. We also managed to see the elusive leopards at Yala as his contact knew just where to go! His english is excellent and he cannot do enough for you during each tour with him. He also went out of his way to show us things that were not on the tours and we would have missed if it wasn't for him going out of his way to show us including trees full of giant fruit bats near Yala and historic temples and countryside views that were away from the main highway. We can see why so many people have highly recommended Bhathiya as do we. Bohoma istouti Bhathiya....
