- Companion020746689910 contributionsKedarkantha tracksWhat an awesome trekking, “KEDARKANTHA” the name itself gives Goosebumps and a kind of thrill to achieve that peak. The chills in the air, the mountain steep, the sound of small water streams, the long trees and after so much of climbing efforts when you stand up there at 12,500 Feet above the Kedsea level and take a deep breath, look around the mountains… That is so satisfying, it is just out of words. Our Trek leader Miss Neha bisht mam were outstanding, you just can’t expect so much from her It is true that if you are mentally strong, only then reaching the peak (summiting) is possible and she was like energy boosters, in the front of the troop and at the back. She was always pushing us saying “sir ji aap karsakte ho”, “full power💪”, “Slow and steady”, “keep baby steps” she motivated us so much. Thanks so much Neha mam .will do some other trek with you very soon.good luck for your future keep growing, keep Rocking✨🕊️.Written 10 January 2024
- Jatin M0 contributionsMesmerizingMy experience with Ayodhya Darshanam was nothing short of incredible! Sachin sir is a true professional - he organized the trek of Kedarkantha in a very efficient manner and made sure every detail was taken care of. The food on the trek was also surprisingly delicious - I definitely wasn't expecting such great quality of food! I would recommend Ayodhya Darshanam to anyone looking for a great trekking experience to Kedarkantha.See you soon for Ayodhya trip.Written 31 March 2023
- shwetz100 contributionsTriund trekThis was the first overnight trek I did with my daughter. Our group was a mother-child group and for most of the kids it was a first time experience. The guides were very helpful and nice. They took care of our needs and we’re patient with us. The tented accommodation was good too but for the sleeping bags. The food was basic vegetarian but very tasty. On the whole it was a beautiful experience and the team of outdoormonks did a fabulous job.Written 30 March 2022

- Harsh_Kumar_Sharma_10 contributionsKedarkantha TrekKedarkantha trek was my first trek and with no doubt I can assured you that they are best team to coordinate your treks, trips. The trek was amazing. Pros are : 1. Best Price 2. Best Food 3. Best Team 4. Cheap trekking equipment that you can rentWritten 16 November 2021
- ShakshiAgarwal0 contributionsAmazing experienceI went for 2-Day trek to nag tibba. It was an great experience. The staff was very co-operative. Faced little bit of issues due to rain but still enjoyed the trek and i would highly recommend Outdoor monks.Written 4 August 2021
- Alwintraveller0 contributionsKedarkantha TrekKedarkanta Trek with Trekkaro. Reasons we selected Trekkaro were: 1. Lowest competitive price 2. Free trekking gear 3. Good reviews. But we very soon realised that there was a lot of cost cutting to be able to give us that discounted price. We were supposed to carry our own utensils at all places at all times, which is a little uncomfortable when you are at the hotel as well. Our Guides were Guddu and Jaggu. Awesome people but local and untrained. We had a medical emergency where they did their best to get our friend medical help but were not trained to avoid such emergencies. They had no knowledge of how to prevent high altitude sickness no say on the medicines. In the mountains it’s a tricky thing because it can lead to several problems. Apart from that the travel too and from sankri was a Tempo Traveller which was additional cost. The food on the entire trek was amazing. Tents were good quality and overall it was a great experience.Written 18 June 2021
- Divin980 contributionsConquering mountains with the BESTKedarkantha trek was my second trek with Outdoor Monks, and I can say no doubt that they are best team to coordinate your treks, trips and so on Outdoor Monks was sufficiently thoughtful to set up a different schedule for us since we had told them that we wanted to stay in Rishikesh for two days before the trek. In only two days they arranged so that we did rafting, bungee jumping and furthermore watched Ganga aarits. The trek was amazing. Such an amazing team, Bharath Bhai and Deeraj Bhai came with us to the trek, they were such astonishing individuals, ensured we completed the trek to the summit and also let us dance in the summit.... heehhheeee...They were soooo amazing. My first journey with Outdoor Monks was three years ago and it was Chaadar trek. They organize the treks so well. In both the treks the facilities they provided was top notch. Everything was so neatly done. Anyday I would close my eyes and choose to trek with OUTDOOR MONKS.Written 31 March 2021
- shailesh p0 contributionsKedarkantha with OMAnother memorable trek completed with OM. Once again we were lead by the Affable and experienced trekker , Bharat Sir . He guided us every step of the way. A huge shout out for the team of Surendra, Raju, Harishchandra and Kishan, who kept us well fed with mouth watering and nutritious food through out our trek. These guys truly went above and beyond to keep us at optimum physical condition. The tents , sleeping bags and other snow equipments were of highest grade. Try to use the best trekking gear available ankle length shoes, rain jackets and never ever forget the walking pole, its the most underrated item in the list and goes a long way. We all reached thé Summit of KK for the sunrise and it was the most surreal experience. We also got some fresh snowfall at the base of KK which was absolutely magical. Will be back for more . Keep it up guys you rock!Written 18 March 2021
- ShalSal0 contributionsFantastic trek. Fantastic guides!Booked a last minute trek with Outdoor Monks. Could not have found a nicer, more supportive set of guides and trek mates! Outdoor monks took amazing care of all of us, making sure we bonded as a group, enjoyed the trek, learnt along the way and most importantly... Ate well! In a group where not everyone was at the same fitness level to climb, our guides Bharatji and Dheeraji made sure that we all made it to the summit as a team. Not to mention, they clicked some of the most amazing pics for us never once rushing us to "keep moving" or "reach the camp" like some of the other guides on the mountain kept yelling at their groups. They were patient, polite and best of all provided us with all the support we needed. For those of us who wanted to explore, they even took us on small excursions along the way to discover the mountain and spot wildlife. Lastly, Ankush, our tour coordinator, was an absolute jem, helping us prepare before we reached Dehradun and offering some trek-saving advice that got us through the cold nights :) Thanks Outdoor Monks! Can't wait to get back on the trail with you again soon!Written 28 February 2021
- Thesourabhgoyal0070 contributionsBest Trek experience ever and have captured good and beauty memories considering my first solo trek.Recently, I got chance to do Kedarkantha trek with outdoor monks. This is my 5th trek and must say it has been best experience ever of mine. Outdoor monks team is very professional in terms of providing service and personal in terms of friend and fun. They provide good and delicious food (specially Gulabjamuns). They help resolve each and every query of a client. Throughout trek I didn't feel like anything could be more better than what they have provided. The staff was very polite and helpful all time. A must recommended trek operators to go and trek with. All the very best to team.Written 27 February 2021
- Bhavesh16270 contributionsKK 2K21An awesome trekking, “KEDARKANTHA” the name itself gives Goosebumps and a kind of thrill to achieve that peak. The chills in the air, the mountain steep all the way, the sound of small water streams, the long trees and after so much of climbing efforts when you stand up there at 12,500 Feet above the sea level and take a deep breath, look around I think at that point you will loose your mind and find your soul or this can happen in the journey as well that too after your 1st campsite that will be JUDA KA TALAB. The guides Mr. Madan and Mr.Sainu were outstanding, you just can’t expect so much from these guides. It is true that if you are mentally strong, only then reaching the peak (summiting) is possible and these guides were like energy boosters, one in the front of the troop and another at the back. They were always pushing us saying “sir ji aap kar sakte ho”, “ye pahaad aapke sapno se bada nahi hai”, “Slow and steady”, “keep baby steps” they motivated us so much. The food was fresh, hygienic and tasty with humble serving. The tents were clean and good in condition. I appreciate OLD MONK TREKKING for having such an amazing team out there for making people experience the nature and making their dream come true of summiting the peak. Reasonable rates and best of them all.. great work guys..cheers.Written 18 February 2021

Being my first trek, I didn’t really know what to expect when I started. But the entire team at Outdoor Monks, every single person we came across, was not just fully professional and responsible, but also very warm, informative, caring and pleasant. From the guide Dheeraj (bless his soul for being so patient with a snail speed walker like me!) he answered my marathon of questions with facts and details during the entire trip. He made sure we all were well looked after even when one one of us got sick during the trip.Irfan ji (who drove us during our trip)went an extra mile to make sure we reached home safe in another city which wasn’t his responsibility technically. The hotel selection by ODM was also really good where the food, service and staff made the entire trip filled with laughter and pleasant conversations! Got to learn a lot about the mountains, mountain life and trekking with sound information and facts provided by all. This might have been my first trek and trip to the Himalayas, but will surely not be the last. Absolutely loved my entire experience during the trip and the experience with ODM! Can’t wait for my next!

Mountains were calling me but with late monsoon and many COVID related restrictions I was not sure how to make this trip possible. Someone recommended Outdoor Monks. And it was meant to be! From the time I connected with Anubhav, things fell in place. The trip was amazing, mountains were humbling, Hemkund Sahib was divine and our guide Dheeraj was caring and knowledgeable. Ankush, took care of every small detail from hotel rooms with a view to special meals and transportation. I am thankful to the entire Outdoor Monks team for making this trip possible. Hoping to do many more treks with them.
