This is what it says it is - a Scenic Boat Ride in St Augustine. It is not a tour full with detailed commentary of everything you can see, but there is enough information to give you an introduction to this historic city. It's a smooth 60-70 minute boat ride around the intracoastal waterway between Vilano Beach and Anastasia Island, giving you beautiful views of the surrounding mainland and islands. There is a reasonably priced bar and restrooms on board, and plentiful seating on the top deck (uncovered) and lower floor, with open windows allowing a cooling breeze to blow through. It's not going to break the bank, and will pass a pleasurable hour. Give it a go!

St Augustine, Florida is a beautiful coastal town that offers a variety of experiences for travelers. Located on the northeast coast of Florida, St Augustine is known for its rich history, stunning beaches, and vibrant culture.
A visit to St Augustine will take you back in time to the city’s colonial roots. St Augustine is the oldest continuously occupied city in the United States, having been founded in 1565 by Spanish explorers. Visitors can explore the city’s historic downtown area, which is filled with cobblestone streets, Spanish Colonial architecture, and a variety of museums and galleries. The Castillo de San Marcos National Monument is a must-see for history buffs. The fort, which was built in 1672, is the oldest masonry fort in the continental United States.
St Augustine is also home to some of the most beautiful beaches in Florida. St Augustine Beach is a popular destination for sunbathers and beachgoers, while Crescent Beach and Vilano Beach offer more secluded areas for swimming and relaxing. Visitors can also take a boat tour to explore the nearby barrier islands, or take a kayak tour to experience the area’s diverse wildlife.
In addition to its breathtaking scenery, St Augustine also offers a vibrant culture. The city is home to a variety of restaurants, bars, and shops, making it the perfect place to explore and experience local culture. The city also hosts a variety of festivals and events throughout the year, such as the St Augustine Music Festival and the St Augustine Seafood Festival.
St Augustine, Florida is an ideal destination for travelers looking for a unique blend of history, culture, and natural beauty. Whether you’re interested in exploring the city’s colonial past, relaxing on the beach, or experiencing the city’s vibrant culture, St Augustine has something for everyone.

This is an excellent leisurely and inexpensive tour that puts St. Augustine into a totally different perspective. The captain was extremely knowledgeable, but honestly he didn't have to say much as the views did most of the talking.
We took the 6:30 twilight tour so it was dark when we returned, so we probably didn't see as much as we would have seen during the day, but it was soooo nice and the ambiance was very romantic.
The following is NOT a knock on the tour or the captain... NOTE TO PARENTS - please control your kids or don't bring them on the tour, others are trying to enjoy the trip - don't let your kids scream, yell, and play on the boat - let them do that while they are not on the tour. Don't take 1000 selfies of yourself and not pay any attention to the surroundings. A couple in front of us had two dogs with them on the tour and the dogs were much better behaved than a lot of the passengers. If I was the captain I'd turn pirate real quick and make some passengers walk the plank... lol!

The advertisement says 1-2 hours. It was one hour leaving the pier to returning to the pier. We arrived at 4:00, a half hour before our scheduled departure for the sunset cruise, as instructed on our tickets. We took the latest cruise to see the sunset and the lights of the city by boat. We stood on the dock for 20 minutes until they allowed boarding, with an elderly, handicapped person using a walker. The boat was sold out and full, so we waited for everyone to arrive and board and left at 4:40 pm. The boat returned to the dock at exactly 5:40 pm, before it was dark enough to enjoy the city lights (Night of Lights). The boat also left the city side of the bridge of lions at 5:30, so after that you were looking at the dock mostly. This was the last/latest cruise option. Very disappointed. We did not get what we expected. The online photos of the city lights was not what we got, and it was why we booked the cruise. We did see the sun set, so that was worth something, it just wasn’t why we booked this cruise. All 4 of us left disappointed.

While I understand they needed to cancel the trip, they SHOULD have made phone calls or texts to let us know. They sent an email about an hour and half before we were to leave. Being on vacation, I was on my way and driving and not access to email. Had I known it was being cancelled I would not have been making the 2 hour drive to St Augustine since I had already been in a downpour on the way. ALSO I paid for parking there and then found they cancelled by the sign on the door. Had they called, I could have parked where I had planned the on/off tour and parking there was free. So I made a 2 hour trip and paid for parking when if they had called or texted I would have known it was cancelled. Poor Customer Service

The narration during the tour was terrible. The guide mumbled most of the time and I think I know less about St. Augustine than before I embarked on the tour. Tickets booked through Trip Advisor were more expensive than on site and it’s not easy to rebook if you need to.

The trip itself was so-so. Very little commentary. The bathroom smell was disgusting. The worst I’d ever encountered. When the “captain” was asked about the state of the bathroom (by another passenger) when leaving he said, “we clean them at the end of the day after the last trip”. We were the first trio of the day. Soooo…. When was it “cleaned”?

We loved it. The ride was smooth, not too packed, reasonably priced, great duration of time, and something we’d do again for sure. I think this is more for adults and the kids would enjoy the pirate boat more. We loved how relaxing it was. They sold drinks and snacks but we didn’t purchase any so i don’t know prices. They also have a bathroom on board. Captain was great. He mentioned some points of interest but didn’t talk the entire time so it was relaxing. We saw lots of dolphins too!!

Took the boat ride on the opening of Night of Lights. It would of been better in nice weather with a group of friends or family. It was cold, dark and rainy. (Not a good day) and you don't see any lights on this particular ride. Just when the boat comes back into the dock. My advice is to take this boat ride in the summer as the sun is going down and you want to rest and cool down from a long day with a drink. The water does get a little bit rough. But maybe not bad for some. Please note there is hardly any narration. We did see a dolphin 🐬. Which was the highlight of the trip.

This tour had no narration of where we were going or what we are looking at. Nothing other than to welcome us. The sound system inside the vessel was of terrible quality blasting xmas carols which would have been great if sound was good.
This trip could be lovely if some customer service was added.

We didn’t bring anything on board but they do sell snacks and ice cold drinks that are very accommodating. The cruise is approximately 1 1/2 hrs long very comfortable and interesting. Enjoy yourselves and have a great time.
