Overview
Set sail for adventure on this exciting, interactive pirate cruise along Fort Lauderdale’s Intracoastal Waterway. This spirited 1-hour excursion is fun for the whole family. Help find the hidden treasure, learn to talk and dress like a pirate with face painting and temporary tattoos and fend off the attacks of rival pirates with onboard water cannons. Kids receive a pirate certificate and bag of loot to take home. This tour is great for birthday parties, group field trips or just a day of fun on the high seas.
What to Expect
Why settle for a pirate ship fort when the real thing is right here on the waters in Fort Lauderdale?

Hop on board the pirate ship Bluefoot, a US Coast Guard inspected and certified vessel at the Bahia Mar Beach Resort and Yachting Center in Fort Lauderdale. With Jolly Rogers flags whipping in the breeze, this ship is fully equipped with all the necessary safety and life preserving equipment, so get ready for adventure on the high seas — or in this case, Fort Lauderdale’s beautiful Intracoastal Waterway.

Begin by learning some proper pirate lingo from the US Coast Guard certified crew — Captain Moe, Black Rose, Lady Lilian Red and others — then get into character with face painting and temporary tattoos. Cruise along Fort Lauderdale's coastline, admiring the many mansions and yachts along the way as the crew keeps the children entertained with a treasure hunt.

Kids can use the onboard water cannons to fend off the villainous Barnacle Bill before successfully completing their quest to get an official pirate certificate and a bag of loot to take home.

A variety of cold beverages is available for purchase on board the ship during the cruise.

Great fun for young children

Very engaging staff, the kids really enjoyed it. Water cannons and fighting off the bad pirate were great hits. Recommend for girls and boys 3-10. Not for kiddos who don’t like loud noises or are scared easily.

Staff was engaging from the moment we walked up, especially Captain Black Sparrow. My 7 year old grandson was a bit shy and quiet on the boat, but when we got home he reenacted the pirate talk and finally wore his eye patch, so he...More
