Unforgettable kayaking in South Goa Sal backwaters with dense mangroves and various species of birds.

Even though I am a novice in swimming and kayaking, I still had a Superb experience of kayaking in sal backwaters in south Goa as organised and managed by Mr Prakash. While kayaking I got to see many varieties of bird species along with dense mangroves and other trees on both sides of the pristine sal river. Throughout the kayaking, Satish guided us, he provided all details about birds, plants, various flowers including a variety of lotus flowers, thanks to Mr Prakash and Satish for making the overall experience memorable. I would highly recommend anyone to do this 2-3 hrs very affordable and very safe kayaking in South Goa.

The Nature side of South Goa that many don't know about

My wife and I went on this Kayaking trip in Sal backwater and it turns out to be one of the best stand-out experience of our lives and surely one of the best in our Goa trip. We never did Kayaking before and neither of us know how to swim.. and we didn't need to. That's the best part. The team of Mr.Prakash were very professional and gave us all the tips we need to have simply kayake through the placid backwaters of Sal river in South Goa.

The tour size was very convenient and it helped us have a very communal experience.

We did the early morning trip at 8AM and it turned out to be a very good decision because we were able to see so many birds and hear a lot of bird songs all through our trip. And weather wise as well, this early morning slot was the best one.

Mr. Prakash conducts this trip in a very professional manner and makes you feel extremely safe and comfortable. He also clicked the pictures and shared them with us later to make it memorable for us.

I would highly recommend taking this trip to anyone looking for a nice relaxing nature experience on their trip to Goa. When our family members saw our pictures, they were surprised to see this different side of Goa. We ourselves didn't know this until we took this trip.

We will probably try to take this again whenever we go to Goa next time.

Amazing service and experience
I contacted Mr. Prakash after reading rave reviews on Google and I was not disappointed. He was very prompt in responding to our queries and also accommodated our concerns. We took a morning Kayaking tour with 2 guides and was one of the best decisions we made. We saw so many birds that we don't normally see in our cities and all in all was an absolutely amazing experience. The backwaters are amazing and teeming with life. This is a very unique experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to do something different in Goa.

They were on time, their gear was in top condition, they allayed all our fears and made sure we were comfortable throughout. Post the trip, Mr. Prakash was kind enough to feed us a samosa and some mango juice. +1 star to Prakash ji for an amazing conversation post the tour.

Thank you Prakash ji and Goa Kayaking for a wonderful experience. Wishing you all the best!

Great experience kayaking in the backwaters of GOA and bird watching
We booked our kayaking session for 4 pm but Prakash highly recommended that we do it at 7am. We agreed and did not regret it! The river was very tranquil and we managed to see so many birds. Satish, who was the guide kayaking with us, was very nice and friendly and was excellent at spotting all kinds of birds. Can highly recommend this tour!

I had booked the premium package for the kayaking experience and the best time to go would be early in the morning in the first slot. Prakash was nothing but extremely professional and made us comfortable since it was our first time. I wanted to experience goa beyond beaches and it didn’t disappoint me at all! Would highly recommend everyone to try this out when in Goa!

Amazing experience unmissable
Great experience with plenty of bird sightings. We saw kingfishers, snake head, herons, bee eater, eagles and so on… very relaxed organised way. Prakash Alfonso was great at providing lots of information, organisation and yummy samosas at the end. Our guide Satheesh was lovely and very knowledgeable about birds and trees around us. Recommend you wear water shoes, hat and go early morning as more birds

Having an afternoon free after a reunion meet, I decided to contact Prakash Alfonso about the above tour on WhatsApp and got an immediate response fixing an appointment .

I met up with Alfonso at the launch site and joined another family of 4 for a 90-120 minute paddle down the Sal Backwaters around 4 pm.

A great experience with a guide.

The early part of the trip parallels a highway so expect a little traffic noise, but once you get into the deeper swamp area, its pure pleasure.

The opportunity to view the bird life , creep crawlies in their natural habitat is exquisite , especially towards sunset.

I would thoroughly recommend this tour with friendly Prakash Alfonso

A different side of Goa
First time for my family and me with a kayak and Prakash and his team were amazing. Pretty easy safe trip with beautiful sights to take in. Highly recommend this trip as a contrast to the typical Goa beach activities... Very memorable. We did an early morning trip which meant we were pretty much done when sun shone strong.

This was our first time Kayaking and we couldn’t have had a better experience than this one. Everything was perfect! The initial session was so knowledgeable and the whole kayaking experience in the water was worth every penny. We were thoroughly taken care of and I would recommend them to everyone planning to do kayaking in Goa!!

Memorable Kayaking experience in Sal backwaters Goa

We planned to for kayking experience in Goa. When searched online, we got many results with different reviews hiweevr most of them were in north goa and we were staying in south goa. So while exploring kayaking options in south goa, i came across with this result and my experience is amazing. The charges seems reasonable. The owner Mr. Prakash is really very protective, humble and caring person. He will brief you about kayking, about the trip, things to notice during trip. We booked for morning 0730 am trip and i will recommend the same as the morning view and and feeling arr awsome during the trail. Its really safe and enjoyable activity. I will recommend to go for kayaking with Goa Kayaking for a memorable experience. During the trip, be alert to point few beautiful birds. Try to wear light/ synthetic bottom wears as it is going to get wet. To start the Kayaking one need to go in water which is a foot deep so accordingly choose your footwears. While taking pictures, take care of mobile phone as it can slip into water. No washroom changing room available so plan that way.
