Denver City Sightseeing Tour
From US$ 40.00
Discover the highlights and history of the Mile-High City on this 3-hour sightseeing tour of Denver. A knowledgeable guide will whisk you around to see top urban attractions, including the State Capital, the United States Mint, the Denver Art Museum, 16th Street Mall, and Larimer Square. Scope out historic Victorian homes on Capitol Hill as you learn how Denver grew from a miner’s camp during the silver boom to Colorado’s modern cultural capital.
What to Expect
Kick off your visit to Denver with this entertaining and informative bus tour. Your expert driver and guide will pick you up at Union Station in downtown Denver. Settle in to your comfortable coach or minivan and listen to tales of Denver history as you cruise through different neighborhoods and past top attractions.
Learn about Denver’s birth as a 19th-century boomtown when you pass through historic Larimer Square. The city’s oldest block is now an upscale dining and shopping destination packed with gourmet restaurants, trendy bars, and specialty boutiques. Drive by the stately Victorian mansions of Capitol Hill, including the home of one of Denver’s most famous early residents, the ‘unsinkable’ Titanic survivor Molly Brown.
Admire the majestic, gold-domed State Capital and the collection of government buildings that surround Civic Center Park. You’ll see other nearby landmarks such as the still-operational United States Mint and the ultramodern Denver Art Museum, which resembles a giant exploding crystal. Drive through the skyscraper canyons of Denver’s financial district and catch a glimpse of the crowds along the bustling, pedestrian-only 16th Street Mall.
Once your 3-hour tour wraps up, you’ll be dropped off back at the Cherry Creek Shopping Center — an ideal central location to get a bite at one of the many unique neighborhood eateries or plan your next move in the Mile-High City.

Not much walking except when you self-tour City Hall. My wife, nearing 70, did fine, despite recently recovering from two broken ankles.
