Instruction was given on land but she was pretty much left on her own in the water. There were 6 individuals for one instructor and everyone was so spread out in the water and quite a ways out. I know it wasn’t easy for the instructor but he stayed on one end while my granddaughter on the other end could have used some advice, being her first time. Pacho was an incredibly effective and helpful instructor for our four consecutive days of private lessons. I️ made marked improvements given his feedback and look forward to working with him again during my next visit. He was extremely patient, kind, thoughtful, and motivating. I️ am so happy we got to work together and he got me back on my feet — figuratively and literally — to get back into surfing. Thank you so much, Pacho!

We had a semi-private class with Matias for 2 of us. We are complete beginners. The class lasted for 2 hours. First, Matias explained us the basics and showed the ways of getting on surf on the sand and answered our questions. After that we got down to practice in the ocean. Matias helped us to get a positive experience with surf in the water, to get the feel of how it is to stand on the surf without getting injured due to our absent experience. Each attempt he helped us to realize our mistakes and advised on how to work on them. Also, he clearly answered to all the relevant questions we had. Of course, one class is not enough to become a surfer. But now we better understand what stands behind the cool riding.

It sounds like you had an amazing experience with Matias! A semi-private class is a great way to learn, especially as beginners, since it allows for more personalized attention. It’s so important to start with the basics, and Matias’s thorough explanations and demonstrations on the sand must have set a solid foundation for your time in the water.
Practicing in the ocean can be both exciting and intimidating for newcomers, but it’s fantastic to hear that Matias made you both feel comfortable and safe while learning. His ability to give constructive feedback and answer all your questions clearly demonstrates his dedication as an instructor.
It’s true that one lesson might not turn someone into a pro surfer, but it sounds like you both gained a valuable understanding of the sport and the necessary skills to continue improving. It’s all about building that foundation, and your enthusiasm for learning is evident. When you return for another class, you’ll be that much more prepared to embrace the waves! 🌊🏄♀️✨ If you ever consider taking up surfing more seriously, it sounds like you're already off to a fantastic start!

Hey! I had a class with Johnathan, it was amazing! He was very professional, responsible and funny at the same time. He showed me techniques and than we turned it into practice in the water. It was great experience and super fun time. I recommend class with Johnathan to whoever wants to learn how to surf with chill and safe atmosphere.

Awesome experience! We loved our surfing lessons and would use this company again in the future. Our instructor, Guana, was fabulous! She was so patient with us and was able to help all three of us get to standing and surf by the end of the lesson! Highly recommend them!
