Melissa was such a knowledgeable and gracious tour guide. The wine tasting was very fun and we enjoyed getting to know the other couples. It was a great overview for our first trip to Santa Barbara.

Excellent trip. Michelle was a very good and knowledgeable guide. She know the city very well and apparently people know her this making the trip more comfortable.

Our guide was knowledgeable about the Funk Zone, the history of local Craft beer & the art & architecture we saw. She made the experience really fun & made it manageable for one of our party who has physical limitations. I've lived in Santa Barbara for 48 years & I learned lots of new information. We all enjoyed the stops at the breweries & the stories along the way. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone from Santa Barbara or a visitor!

Melissa is an awesome tour guide!! Her depth of knowledge and love for the city of Santa Barbara enhanced every place we visited. Two great wineries, two artisan chocolate experiences, the murals in the Funk Zone, the architecture and history, and visiting the general's old adobe were all SO much better with her informative escort. She made our visit to SB a great experience.

Shout out to Cali Tours. My friends and I had an informative and fun walking tour of Funk Zone and downtown Santa Barbara. The arranged sparkling wine tastings were awesome - even learned more about the wine industry in the area. Highly recommend Cali Tours for a planned tour around Santa Barbara.

My husband and I were meeting friends in Santa Barbara for NYE and as we waited for everyone to arrive we booked a wine and chocolate tasting/walking tour. Melissa spent the afternoon with us teaching us some history of Santa Barbara. It was our first time visiting so it was nice to have a guided tour. The tastings were wonderful as well. It is a walking tour and although a comfortable stroll, you can sneakily get in btw 4-5 miles in round trip depending where you meet up and if you stay near downtown so where comfortable shoes. We felt armed with knowledge that Melissa shared to take on the weekend. Recommend if you have time.

Melissa is a wonderful tour guide and very knowledgeable about Santa Barbara history. You can tell she loves living here and has an infectious enthusiasm for the city. Wear your walking shoes and prepare to taste some good local wine. We really enjoyed our day.

My wife and I decided to get out of LA for Labor Day weekend, and we went and celebrated our anniversary in Santa Barbara. We paid in advance to join a group walking wine and chocolate tour. It turns out we were the only two people to have booked for the weekend, so we essentially ended up with a full private tour. Our tour guide was Melissa, and she was very knowledgeable and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised when the tour included a ton of historical retellings throughout downtown Santa Barbara, as well as a description of modern-day murals. One of the first major stops was at Santa Barabra Winery, where we had an amazing time tasting a great assortment of wines. We definitely made a few purchases on the way out. We were also fortunate enough to be hosted specifically by Dave. He was super informative and hospitable. I would like to share many things about this tour, but I don't want to spoil it for the next set of individuals who try out this walking tour. We had a great time and would highly recommend it. It was a delightful afternoon! Melissa our guide was fun and very knowledgeable. She had entertaining stories about the history of the area and of the buildings we walked by. She showed us things that we were able to go back to and visit as we walked State Street. We enjoyed two fabulous wine stops and one ice cream stop. We had beautiful chocolate pairings at the last stop. We went back and purchased more chocolate as well as wine. Everyone in my group would agree that this was a tour to not miss!

I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. My friend and I were lucky enough to be the only two on the tour that day. So, we had tour guide, Liz, all to ourselves. She was a delight! She was maybe the best part of the tour! She was so knowledgeable and a lot of fun. The wine, chocolates and ice cream were also pretty great though.

On the Wine, Chocolate and History Walking Tour We had a thoroughly enjoyable tour of historic Santa Barbara beginning at an architectural treasure, the Santa Barbara Courthouse. During our three hour walk through historic Santa Barbara we stopped for a wine tasting accompanied by chocolates hand produced by my favorite chocolatier from the Gold Coast, Chocolats du Cali Bressan, which provided an exquisite pairing with a five course wine sampling. With informative commentary from our guide, owner operator Melissa, we ambled to our next destination for further tastings, a shop purveying very flavorful local olive oils and balsamic vinegars, whose owner was most helpful and informative, her presentation led to several purchases for my further enjoyment at home. We finished our tour in the colorful Funk section of Santa Barbara. Completely worth the time and money and well conducted by Melissa.

Our group had a wonderful time out on the tour, we got a private tour with Jennifer and Melissa that included 3 stops that included 2 wineries and a brewery tour. Everyone raved about the trip and how much fun it was.

The tour was interesting and fun with lots of history of Santa Barbara and information about a variety of wines and pairing them with chocolates. We also really enjoyed the olive oil and basalmic tasting. It was a nice walk down State Street into the Funk Zone and back! Melissa was awesome: knowledgeable and personable. Would definitely refer this tour to others and would do other tours that are offered.
