About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- kathleen4630 contributionsBeautiful Sightseeing & Amazing History! This trip we had limited days to be in the Park and thought a tour would be a great way to catch the highlights and learn a bit too. We found Crossroads Tours through the Trip Advisor app. There are several companies available but we chose Crossroads because of the small group size limits - max 12. Our group was six which was wonderful. My husband and I are both in our 60's and have lived in California most of our lives. Each of us have been to Yosemite many times, but this was the first time either one of us had been on an organized tour. Our guide Daniel was born and raised in the Yosemite area and his family has been in the area for generations so he has a lot of historical knowledge and personal stories to share. We are history aficionados and we were delighted with all the new things we learned about Yosemite and California history too! We highly recommend touring with Crossroads Tours for first time visitors to Yosemite and seasoned visitors who want to learn more about the unique history of Yosemite!Written 21 January 2024
- 856hermang0 contributionsInterestingExcellent tour of the most interesting part of the area, a small group, Laura Ullmann was our guide and I thought the information with an unmatched passion that she shared with us was spectacular, one hundred percent recommendedWritten 10 January 2024
- Voyager191985629560 contributionsTerrible Customer ServiceChanged our vehicle from Hummer to Jeep the day before we were set to take the tour. They told us the Hummer was not mechanically sound. This did not work for us because we were a party of four. Jeep would be to small for 4 plus the driver so we canceled and were told we would be refunded. We did not get the refund. We were later told it was because we did not cancel within 24 hours. They sent us an email at 10:18 the morning before our tour was scheduled. Our tour was supposed to start at 7am. That is not 24 hours notice that our vehicle was being changed so how could we have canceled within 24 hours? So we are out $1268 and received no tour. Total scam. They had months to tell us about the vehicle change. Stay away from this scam! I have emails to back up my claims.Written 27 December 2023
- travisr10 contributionsGreat one day Yosemite ExperienceLaura was an amazing guide. She knows so much about Yosemite and is so kind. She also took great photos of us. Highly recommend this company and Laura in particular as a guideWritten 18 December 2023
- CranberryT0 contributionsNo responseWrote in twice to enquire, gave the benefit of doubt they did not receive first enquiry. Wrote in again, no response. Disappointing.Written 22 November 2023
- angelrn710 contributionsCanceled at last minuteWe did not even go on the tour. We were to have the tour booked on 10/2/23- I had scheduled way in advance, talked to a agent, and had received several emails to print my tickets. On September 27th I received an email with no explanation that my tour was canceled and my money was being refunded. When I contacted the agent the answer I got is that it was canceled for "unforeseen circumstances" . Very unreliable and unprofessional.Written 27 September 2023
- G5764FMjeffreyb0 contributionsGreat knowledgeable guide helped us make the most of a short visit!Brian was a great tour guide, he was super knowledgeable and helped us make the most of our day at Yosemite. Rather than worrying about driving and traffic, we were able to sit back and enjoy the scenery and get a lot of knowledge about the park and its history, as well as recent events, like fires.Written 25 September 2023
- richardrM9739WH0 contributionsOur tour was cancelledWe are in our 70’s so are not likely to ever see Yosemite now. The tour we had booked for September 21 was cancelled, however we had to call Crossroads to find out. They did not answer my emails to confirm a pickup time and place, so part of the time we were concerned it is was not a real enterprise. They did refund $800 we had paid in advance within a few days. Would have liked to give a good review. We used the day to go to Sequoia park by ourselves, which was nice.Written 25 September 2023
- kimberlywR2518OZ0 contributionsGreat tour of YosemiteWe spent 8 days in and around Yosemite and this was by far our best day ! It was a great overview of the park and done in such a way to allow us to see many areas and know where we may want to explore more later on. Juli was fun and had lots of info to tell, and was an excellent driver high up on the somewhat stress- inducing mountain roads ( for those afraid of heights that is) Would highly recommend to first time visitors as well as veterans of Yosemite.Written 23 September 2023
- andreamI6416BE0 contributionsAmazing guide JuliWe had an absolutely amazing time with our guide Juli. She was incredibly knowledgeable of the park and knew exactly where to go for breathtaking views. She brought pictures of her at a child at different locations in the park, she had old newspapers clippings about different happenings, and overall provided a truly magical one of a kind experience.Written 23 September 2023
- H5817MBbettinak0 contributionsHighly unprofessional, late and failed to give true ETAI contracted with Crossroads Tours for a transfer from my hotel to the Fresno airport. My pick up time was 7:45AM. At 7:55, I called and I was informed that the driver was on his way and would be there momentarily. Several calls were made to Crossroads and each time they said the driver would be there momentarily. The driver was 35 minutes late and drove like a mad man. Not only did I nearly miss my flight, but I had to contend with seriously poor driving because this company did not keep their word. I cannot state strongly enough to everyone to not use this company. They are UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE and ARROGANT.Written 22 September 2023
- DayTrip065582395150 contributionsForgot Reservation & Horrible Customer ServiceBooked a transfer from Oakhurst to Fresno airport 2 weeks in advance. They completely forgot about the reservation. After numerous calls and texts they showed up 35 minutes late and the passenger barely made the flight. After contacting them to get a partial refund, they blocked me. I reached out to them from a different phone number and the owner Ramesh Gurnani said "F*ck off you piece of sh*t". Words cannot explain how terrible this company and its ownership are. DO NOT USE!Written 22 September 2023
- marksF1699PF0 contributionsGreat Tour of Yosemite! My wife and I have done a lot of tours and Juli, our driver and tour guide, was in the top one or two. We were apprehensive about being in a van with 6 other people we didn't know for nine hours (they were great), but this trip was well worth it. Juli was the best driver down those very curvy roads (my wife is usually car-sick in the first 30 minutes- but even she liked it). We received a very good cross section of the highlights of Yosemite. The highlight for me was seeing the climbers on El Capitan (Juli had binoculars!). For my wife, it was the view from Glacier Point. The next day we hiked 4 miles up to Nevada Falls and then saw the sequoias at Mariposa Grove- all at Juli's recommendation. Highly recommend this tour...especially early in your visit to Yosemite.Written 17 September 2023
- Sparkyscheeky0 contributionsY for Yosemite heavenOur guide Laura was enthusiastic from 6.30am when she picked us up for our full day tour, her knowledge was amazing and helped that she had lived and worked in the area for many years. Laura took us to all the best spots to make our experience amazing. The benefit of having a guide meant she knew all the best spots for photos and was able to make the most of our time as she would take the car to park it and drop us off while she did this. The lunch was lovely but was made better where we had it with the best view out the way of the crowdsWritten 15 September 2023
- nurseswanie0 contributionsWonderful way to Enjoy the Beauty of YosemiteAmanda was our guide. She was amazing. Gave us great insight into the park and all we saw. She was enthusiastic and it was obvious she loves Yosemite.Written 14 September 2023

Our family had the best time on our jeep tour with Julie. We could not have asked for a better tour guide. I believe that Julie made our day great and tremendously enhanced our experience. Julie was very personable, knowledgable, and fun. She took us to all of the tourist spots and even some of her favorites. We never felt rushed. Our kids (8 and 6) were never bored and loved the whole experience. During our trip parts of the park were closed and there was heavy smoke because of the fires, despite this we still had a great time and plan on taking another trip. The jeep was clean and cool. Lunch was from a deli and was delicious, it included a 6" sandwich, chips, and a cookie. If you are looking for a guided trip this is definitely the way to go, totally worth the price.

Throughly enjoyed our day with Daniel who picked us up at 7am from our hotel and showed us as many Yosemite highlights as he could before drop off at 3pm. The kids loved the cool open top red jeep and we loved Daniel’s commentary and local stories. Would highly recommend.

The guide, Daniel, was excellent. Full of knowledge and a very interesting person. His family has lived in the Yosemite area for seven generations. We saw things that we might not have seen on a regular tour, and heard many stories and learned things we would have never known. A big thank you to Daniel.

The tour was rating 5- Fred, our driver, was very knowledgeable, kind, and hospitable. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. He took us to all the major sites and gave us the appropriate time to view and take pictures. He was able to customize our time there to make our memories last a lifetime, including lunch on a sandy beach. My only feedback for the lunch is for those with dietary needs, example gluten allergies ensure all times can accommodate the need. Example cookie with gluten. I know it is not the tour company's fault... I had plenty to eat but would've been nice.

Made a last minute reservation after 9pm for the next morning. The company was very accommodating and found a driver to take my husband and me for a private tour in an Expedition. Our driver Sandy was the absolute best. She was so friendly and welcoming. She had a basket of snacks, water and juice if we needed. (Sandwich lunch was included) She really made the day special. She was so knowledgeable about Yosemite and knew all the ins and outs of navigating the park. By the end of the tour we felt as if we spent the day with an old friend. Highly recommend!

My wife and I recently celebrated an anniversary vacation and Yosemite was our highlight destination. We spent the day on a private Jeep tour with Juli. What an amazing day with a wonderful and knowledgeable host! There are many tour services in the area to choose from but none better than Crossroads. Thank you for a great day and thank you to our new friend and fantastic host Juli !!

Hit all the important spots, met our list of must do's and took tge time to make sure we were happy.
Yosemite is a big park with much to see this type of tour makes sure you don't miss anything. Plus no one has to drive!! Yeah!!!

This was fantastic!!! Not only was Yosemite just beautiful and stunning, our guide was great. Dave was friendly, polite and fun. His knowledge of the park, historic and geological was excellent. I highly recommend this tour, and we will certainly request him if and when we come back. If you can do more than one day, I recommend it.

Full day tour through Yosemite. This was our first time to Yosemite, and we had limited time. This tour was the perfect way to hit the major spots in the park with amazing views and photo ops. Tour guide, Fred, was excellent! Engaging and knowledgeable. He knew the best places to go and timing as well. The meal was very good, and he had additional snacks and drinks as well. Would highly recommend this tour!!!

Hi I’m interested in your tour in July , but would like to speak with someone before reserving. Is there a phone number I can call? Thanks!

Greetings,
I am looking to schedule a tour early June. Each of the tours vary slightly and yours looks just about right for us. However I wanted to ask if it would be possible to adjust the itinerary just slightly.
Would it be possible to visit the Tuolumne Grove of Giant Sequoias in place of the Four Mile Trail? I have seen most tours allocate about 90 minutes for Tuolumne Grove while you have 2 hours for the trail, so I figure it may be an even trade.
