This is an outstanding must visit tour. It's long (about 3 and half hours) and is more about the studio experience itself without an amusement park.

Fantastic tour given by Frye who was both incredibly knowledgeable and also upbeat and humorous. Loved seeing the prop warehouse and all the lots. Enjoyed seeing the Friebds set and Stars Hollow is awesome! Great experience!

      Something different in LA
A fun tour. They drive you around in a golf cart around the huge back stage lot. While giving you into about the lot, history of the start of WB and what movies were filmed where. You get to see so much behind the magic. Then your taken to an interactive area where you can take photos on sets like Big Bang or Friends.

      Classic Movie Tour
Excellent tour if you’re a fan of classic old movies. Our tour guide, “Jake”, was very informative and knew his subject well. I was impressed with all the history he shared. We stepped off the tour cart several times, including seeing the first floor of the props warehouse with props from some of the old movies.

      TCM Tour
I am a big fan of TCM and was looking forward to this tour. I realize that Warners can't recreate the 1930's or 1940's on the spot, but they do a fairly good job of referencing classic movies and where they were filmed there on the lot. I do wish the tour guide would have been able to give us a little more of the backstory on some movies, but time is limited. All in all, I think the tour was managed well and was very professional while being entertaining.

      awesome experience!
This was such an awesome experience! I’m a huge fan of Friends so getting to see bits of the set and have lunch at the Central Perk cafe was fabulous! Take enough spending money because it’s very expensive! A simple sandwich/chips/drink type of lunch can easily run around $35-$40/person! Not to mention the Friends boutique…cha-ching! It’s worth it for any fan of the show though. The interactive parts of the exhibits are great, especially for kids. My niece and nephew enjoyed the DC Comics part of the tour too. SoCal residents get a discount for the tickets ($57 as opposed to $69), so don’t forget your ID. Its something to do at least once!

Fun tour, seeing classic sites (Casablanca, Black lot, Prop dept) worth seeing the TCM version as it focuses on WB hsitory instead of sitcoms

      Great Insight to WB Studios
The tour of WB Studios was amazing. The tour guide was engaging, thoughtful to people's interests and very knowledgeable. They set the scene of how the studios operated perfectly. The sets were great to explore and the exhibitions of costumes and sounds were incredible. Definitely worth the morning visit.

Fun and informative tour. Even if you are running late, they have trams run every 10 minutes so you can jump on any tour. We were disappointed in the lack of info for animation (i.e. The Flintstones, Scooby-Doo, etc). Also, if you are a party of 2, you do risk being separated on the tram. While you do get off the tram at some spots, a large majority is on the tram. My teenage daughter and I were separated, which kind of ruined the fun of seeing some sets, as we couldn't talk about them at the time. The Central Park Cafe is small, so there are almost no allergen choices. I didn't have to worry about it this trip, but am always aware as one of my kids has celiac disease and would have only had the option of bagged chips with no gluten contamination. The offerings were a salad, sandwiches, or pizza. Everything had dairy, gluten, and nut contamination, so eat beforehand. Also, if you purchase a drink that you plan to sip on after leaving the Central Perk Cafe, drink it before heading out to the final tram trip because when you leave the Cafe and board the tram, it takes you to the Friends fountain for a picture and then all drinks have to be thrown out before being allowed to board the tram again. It is a very, very short trip from cafe to fountain where drinks have to be thrown away. The one hour guided tour did limit the personal interaction because they are trying to cram a lot of info into that time, so we were offered the opportunity to ask questions but they were answered rapidly and we moved on. The 2 hour guided tour, if you can afford it, would feel way less rushed.

The tour starts in a room where you check-out history of the studios, and then continues by driving around in a bigger golf cars. You are randomly assigned to a specific driver/tour guide that spends with you most of the time. The car makes stops at different places and the tour guide talks to you, explains the current series that the studios are making and showing you the sets where those series are being taken. If you don't watch the currently airing series, you are a bit out of tune here.
After the drive, you continue on your own in comics section. And after that, you go for Friends section and then a giant souvenir shop.
Since the ticket price is not the cheapest, I don't understand extra money for car parking that you need to pay at the entrance to the parking house.
To go for this tour, a reservation in advance is a must-have thing.
In general, I would recommend this tour, as it's an interesting experience if you are passing Hollywood or if you like movies, such as I do. But prepare to spend quite a lot of money here. Because of that, it's better to set your budget in advance.

All in all, it was a nice and interesting tour. First, we explored the area in a car with a guide and were allowed to get out at a few points and take photos. We were also allowed to explore the inside of a studio. We got interesting information about which films/series were filmed where and were sometimes very surprised. In the second part, we were able to look at an exhibition with lots of interesting information about filmmaking itself. Lastly, there was an exhibition about Harry Potter and the DC universe. We particularly liked that.

We can definitely recommend the tour if you are visiting LA for the first time, but we wouldn't do it again every time because of the price

We took the 3:30-4:00pm tour on Friday 12/1/23 with our guide Cole and he was amazing! He was not only very knowledgeable but had a friendly and lively attitude that resulted in a such an enjoyable experience.
We had a small group of 9 which was not too crowded and just enough to be a cheerful crowd.
The place itself was pretty unbelievable and along with all of Cole’s fun facts certainly added to the excitement of it all.
The Central Perk Cafe was pricey and the food was unfortunately 3/10 at best but it did the job for someone who is hungry.
We are Harry Potter, Gilmore girls and Friends fans so this was very exciting for us. If you’re a fan of any of these, definitely take the tour. Our was the lowest price at $70/adult and we left feeling like we got our money’s worth, didn’t find the need for the more expensive tours. Unbiased opinion, Cole needs a raise!

The Warner Brothers studio tour was amazing. We took the Plus version of the tour (10AM start time) that included VIP snacks before the tour as well as a two hour tour and then lunch in the middle of the tour. We figured we'd be out of there in two to three hours, but with SO much to see and so many photo opportunities, we didn't leave until 4:30 PM. Our group of friends numbered 8 and we all had a blast. After going to Universal several times in the past, the Warner Brothers tour was far superior in so many ways.

You really got to touch and feel the movies. For example, we got to take our picture in the Barbie box from the movie, a recreated Friends Central Perk set, a few recreated Harry Potter scenes, and the actual fountain from the Friends opening. Not to mention, and scared to admit, that the Gilmore Girl locations were fantastic, it's amazing to imagine that Connecticut was created so realistically on that back lot.

So if you are looking for a true movie making experience, I heartily recommend the Warner Brother studio tour. I will be going back.

You first of all sit in a Cinema room and watch a short video about Warner Brothers.

Then once this has finished the tour guides come in clapping hands with lots of energy which creates a nice mood and atmosphere. They then take you as a group on the golf buggy’s around Warner Brother Studios as a tour.

The golf buggy tour takes you around fake houses used for filming ancient films such as gremlins and not so rememberable films of the past. A lake with removable water and a fountain used for friends ( this was out like in the 90s are we still supposed to get excited about this ?, you would have thought this had been plugged enough now, 2023 Warner it’s now 2023 ?)

The tour guide has a passion for Gilmore girls and kept mentioning this, not seen it to comment ( expected to hear more about famous films but just heard … Gilmour girls …Gilmore girls) . We then went inside a sound studio which wasn’t that exciting to see. A Kitchen and fake Beach. WoW. That was the guided tour !

Come on Warner Brothers you can do better than that, can you set up some live filming on a B movie or a B series where the people filming won’t mind that much. That what people come here to see. This is just LAZY.

Then you go to a self guided tour which consists of sitting in a audio screen and learning that Gravity has had sound mixed with other sounds to create a dramatic effect ( thanks for that did I really need to sit through that to learn this ? ).
And they have green screens to take pictures and do a little acting out on a broom or motorcycle. When you see the photos they look like they are photoshopped and the film is pathetic.
When you hear the prices 25 dollars for a photo or 125 dollars for the package. I may have bought a picture but 25 dollars come on.

This is an overpriced tour and do Warner Brothers really need the money to charge this, And overcharge for the photos.

If you are on Holiday in LA and have limited time, give this a miss it isn’t worth wasting your time.

If you have time in LA, give this a miss as it isn’t worth the money. Why are Warner Brothers charging as much for this I don’t understand ?

We had limited time and money in LA and felt we wasted our time. The entrance fee really wasn’t worth it.

We did a ton of things while visiting the area and this was my favorite! We had one issue and being we had a child, under 5, along who was too young to go on the tour, so we had to split up and half of us stay with the child and half take the tour, then switch. But the lobby was spacious, there was a Starbucks, and the child could move around while we waited. The tour took about 2 1/2 hours and it was so much fun! The bus took us through the tour and there was no shooting outside that day, so we didn’t have to avoid any of the areas. Our guide was great at explaining what we were seeing and stopping to give us a chance to take pictures. We ended with a chance to walk through scenes from Friends, get some food, and head back to the main building at our leisure. There was very little walking except through the main building at the beginning and at the end of the bus tour. In the main building there was a great exhibit to walk through with interactive scenes from Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and other cool exhibits.

I had the opportunity to take 36 middle school students to Warner Bros Studios. As insane as it may seem the experience was seamless. Upon arrival we were greeted by security, welcomed into the building, set up with our meals by the guides and then broken up into groups with amazingly energetic and engaging tour guides. The excitement at visiting locations where some of their favorite t.v shows and movies were filmed was fun for me as an educator to experience. The guides asked students what they were interested in seeing and proceeded to cater the tour to their interest. The most fun is when the guide shows you a certain location then you see the footage on the screen in the cart you are riding in. The oooh and aahhs from my student reactions said it all. I highly recommend you come out to Warner Bros. it is an experience you will truly enjoy. It was my first time there and plan on returning with my nieces so they too experience the Behind the Scenes Fun!

We went on this tour 8 years ago when in LA and back then you got to go into the props warehouse, Ellen soundstage, Big Bang soundstage and the superhero and HP area were even more extensive than they are now. This time they just drive you around the back streets and say this happens in that sound stage, etc. but you don't go in them. I later found out they have a very expensive tour for $300 pp that does some of this but the general tour does not include this. It's still heavily focused on Friends which we don't care about but were glad to see the Big Bang sets for photo opps. The new waiting area before you go on the tour is excellent with lots of things to read about and see so spend some time there. You are dropped off at one building to learn how movies are made and that was interesting. The last building you come to is displays of HP, Batman, Game of Thrones, etc. and several photos opps. There are some green screen options to fly the broom, etc. but they cost extra. Make reservations ahead of time online.
