November 2024 brought me a dream trip to The Kingdom of Buthan. It was a spontaneous departure, Without preparation, and I was lucky enough to meet Pelden, the head of the Buthan Travel Club agency. The route designed by him, was wonderfull. He masterfully interwoven the new and old stories of Bhutan, the knowledge of the tradițional and culture of this country, trekking and walks in nature, succeeding in instilling in us a new love for this enchanted country. And for the story to be captivating, he sent two hopful helpers : Bijay and Subba. With them I went throuht the mountains and valleys to the most distant monasteries, picnics by the water's edge, spectacular festivals with dancing around the fire at midnight, I meet locals, I cooked and danced with them. It was fulfilling and heartwarming to experience the Laya Gasa Trek and Highland Festival with Bhutan Travel Club. The mountains are impeccable, silent and powerful wilderness. Unlike anything I have ever seen - it’s as if they have a magical mist floating around them every second. Each day was a new adventure hiking through them - ancient trees and monasteries, condors flying overhead, unexplored mountain peaks, and folk tales about Bhutanese history. The hike was a real challenge and adventure, medicine for the soul. The Highland Festival and the people of Bhutan are truly loving. Kindness, bright eyed curiosity, a content way of life - Bhutan reminded me what it means to be a human! To see into such an ancient culture was mind blowing - organic human happiness thrives in Bhutan. The entire world can learn from this country. Bhutan Travel Club is built on kindness. The entire crew was always there for us, trying hard to ensure I felt at home. They offered to give me their personal jacket if I didn’t have my own! They made special milk tea just for me on cold days! They treated me like a friend, which helped me to learn more about Bhutanese culture and feel always at ease. I really recommend this agency to see the real Bhutan, built on human connectivity.

We could not recommend Bhutan Travel Club highly or warmly enough. Pelden and his team were very patient in helping us determine the itinerary. Our guide and driver, Leki and Kinley were fantastic. Knowledgeable, informed, patient and quietly funny. The could not do enough to make our trip very memorable and we were very lucky to have them look after us. A very special trip.

We were blown away with Bhutan and so happy we went with this company. Our guide, Tandin, was probably the most patriotic individual I’ve ever met and was able to explain every detail very clearly. Bhutan is full of gems and between the ornate temples, gorgeous landscapes and quite a few interactions with Bhutanese people we really felt like we were immersed in this beautiful culture. Dawa and team left no detail to chance while not making us feel handled throughout. If there was a highlight I’d say the Punakha valley was it for me. Easy enough drive from Thimphu on a good road to an amazing valley with rice paddies, beautiful temples, the trans Bhutan trail (tbt) and excellent places to stay. And not forgetting Tiger’s Nest.. incredible hike.. but go early!! Thanks guys, that was a special trip!

Bhutan was an unexpected add on to my Asian trip. Peldon at Bhutan Travel Club was so flexible with dates and made the visa process seamless. A solo traveller from Romania was added to our duo and we made a fun troupe of three. Bijay, our guide was a wonderful ambassador for this beautiful country and had our best interests in mind at all times. There are some tricky mountain passes to navigate and I always felt we were in safe hands with our driver, Subba. I learned so much about the culture, religion and people because of Bijay’s extensive knowledge. The hiking was tailored to our ability which gave us the confidence to hike up to Tigers Nest. The homestays were extra special as it gave us a chance to be part of village life. All water, entrance fees to museums & temples, 3 meals a day + tea & snacks, transportation (air, van & airport transfers), lodging, trekking poles, 1 hot stone bath and many extras were included. It was a trip of a lifetime that I will never forget. I will miss Bijay singing tunes as we hiked through the forest.

It was a pleasure to discover Bhutan via Bhutan Travel Club. They made the experience seamless for us, took care of all visa details for us, plane tickets etc. It made the trip really easy! Our guide (Tshering) and chauffeur (Joel) were extremely helpful and were always on point even though we regularly changed things up in our schedule. We had a very enjoyable tour with a lot of in-depth information. Our guide was very knowledgeable and made our experience fantastic. They were a professional travel company from start to finish. We would definitely recommend them for anyone wishing to travel to Bhutan.

By far, the best option for cultural tour with light trekking. After considerable research, I booked an extended version of this trip. Pelden and his associates provided options (like two rural home stays) and extras (tickets to an excellent play in Thimpu, addressing social dilemmas unique to Bhutan, yet globally relevant) in addition to providing a great deal of flexibility regarding treks and cultural/historical events. Our guide, Bijay, and our driver, Subba, were incredibly attentive to our capabilities, interests, and needs throughout the trip. We could not have been better cared-for. We were a small group of three, and found that our varied interests —and abilities to enjoy spicy foods!—were thoughtfully considered throughout our 15 day trip. Bhutan travel club created our perfect holiday, the best holiday of my life. We organised it 1 week before going, everything went smooth and we didnt have anything to worry about or take care about. We managed to packed as many activities in our 7 days, and still get plenty of rest ( me and partner like to sleep late haha). Our guide and driver were very nice and fun. It was amazing to have this private tour and we also have the chance to meet the owner of the company who is kind and very wise. I would definitively recommend and use this company again! We did the Classic tour with the addition of visiting a local village south of Trongsa. The pace was fine and the mountains we climbed were at a leisurely level where the Gangtey (Cranes) over the top was around 3600 meters as the highest. We got a good introduction into how people live - great that alle the guides are in their local outfit, the weather was fine in October and we got the feeling of really getting to know how life is. We have a lot of great photos, but Tripadvisor limits the size of them and it's too much trouble converting them to lower quality! We can really recommend the company and the guide and driver, they did a great job and when something got in the way, they quickly found a solution for it. The hotels in the package were really fine, I guess it's the medium level. They also have Sixsenses for a million extra, I guess it makes little sense for most people to select that hotel option!

Our experience was great! Everything went perfectly. The guide knew the ins and outs of the sights, was always available and extremely friendly. Our trip far exceeded our expectations! I highly recommend it!
