This was an outstanding tour. Our guide Ang was so knowledgeable and he told us fascinating stories about the history of Penang from many different aspects. All of the stops were fantastic and eye-opening. We will be thinking about it for a long time. Highly recommended.

Fantastic day trip to Sandakan! We had a private tour guide and car who personalised and customised the tour to the things we had prioritised. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and was born and raised in the city. They brought us to an exceptional lunch spot and picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. Couldn’t fault the whole experience! I look forward to going back!

I went with both my parents, and it was a very enjoyable experience! I visited 5 years ago, and there have been improvements from the reception area, to the increased number of staff and guides, and lunch provided as compared to last time 👍🏼 We got Clare as our guide, and she was very patient and kind despite certain people in the group that were a tad more mischievious throughout the tour. The tour was smooth, the post-tour performance was entertaining, and the lunch was delicious. All in all, I'm glad that MMCV has improved over the years and gave my parents as wonderful an experience as last time I went 😁👍🏼👍🏼 Would recommend everyone to visit atleast once if they are in Sabah!

Guide never showed up despite us receiving confirmation from TripAdvisor (and tickets) prior to arrival. I reached out to guide the day before to confirm details via whatsapp, email, and called - never called back and no showed. Left three couples at the end of the port - very disappointing as we have limited time i. port and had extensively researched how spend our time. Viator refunded our money, but we were not able to go on the tour.

Mohammed was very friendly. Great English. Unfortunately we all felt like he was rushing to finish. 3 hrs of tour was completed in 2 hours.

Great guide. The visit to the two temples as well as the hill make an excellent half day . Our guide advised us to pay for fast track entry to funicular. Well worth it as queues very long. Excellent half day away from the bustle of the heritage area.

OK early on, but (I) we had to press the guide to visit all the listed venues (he appeared keen to get home!), and (ii) we were taken to 2 (unwanted) commercial outlet stores.

We totally loved our afternoon here. Our guide was super friendly and explained everything very well. The tour is well thought through and we were not expecting to have food and drink little tasters throughout. We didnt really know what to expect and were impressed.

I would love to write a review of this excursion, however we didn’t get to go on it. Everything appeared fine until the morning of the trip when the freelance travel operator contacted me to say the the travel agent MAM Holidays Malaysia had reduced their previously agreed price by 17%. This made it economically unviable for him, which I had great sympathy for. There was no contact made by MAM Holidays Malaysia to inform us of the situation or any attempt to arrange for another guide. We waited for 30mins to no avail. We are still waiting for the situation to be resolved i.e. full refund from Viator.

Our guide Siti (not sure of spelling) was brilliant, kind and particularly knowledgeable. My husband is a very picky eater, but she had plenty of suggestions come lunchtime. Our driver was very good too. I cannot fault anything about our tour, we were amazed.

Wonderful experience that we can explore the fireflies, and crocodiles. we cruise in the night to find the beautiful fireflies and also we have found a 1.5meters crocodiles. Also the island area that we take a rest has also a good view. Dinner is delicious and staff is patient, introducing us information about animals, plants. Our guide Azrien is kind and responsible, Nice experience !

We did not do an organised tour, we just had a taxi driver take us around and paid our own entrance fees, he was fantastic, you can definitely do all 3 in a day, If you go to the morning session at the Orangutan Park, and miss seeing the Larger ones in the wild, you can return for the afternoon session using the same ticket and give it another try, You will almost certainly see a sun bear, but the Rainforest Discovery park can really use up time if you are interested as there is a lot of walking options. We saw 5 elephants crossing the river, so lucky. And another 15 more on land, walking by the river. Plus a crocodile by the river, which dashed in into the river after a while. There was a group of proboscis monkey, and an even larger group of macaques. The boatmen were very accommodating. Our driver Abdul drove us here. He's reliable and super friendly, reasonable prices. Travel agent cancelled the tour the day before with no explanation. They refunded the money but they still advertised the tour for the day I was supposed to go. I ended up going by myself with was a fraction of the cost.

The tour guide did not show up! Viator have refunded us so no issue with them, but do not book this tour. If you want to do it, all of the grab drivers seem to know people who do a similar tour and you can pay in person when they show up. We sadly couldn’t do this because we waited for too long for the guide to show up and then all the other tours had already departed. A real shame!
