Heartfelt Thanks to the Visit South America Team - BOOK NOW
I want to express my immense gratitude to the Visit South America team. When visiting countries with limited communication infrastructure, finding the right company to ensure a safe and enjoyable trip can be challenging. This team delivers exactly that, and although it comes at a premium, I believe it is completely worth it. The experience becomes hassle-free. A special thank you to Kevin, Mr. Nelson, Mr. Flavio, and last but not least, Juan! Juan was not only a great guide and helper, but his wife also cooked amazing local food for us to try every day. Thank you, Juan, for that great service and your fantastic spirit in showing us around your beautiful country. Best regards, Marina + Juan

Can’t recommend booking this tour enough!
An incredible experience, we so saw so much over the 3 days. The reflections on the Uyuni salt flats must have been the highlight, but also driving through the mars like landscapes was very special and like nothing I have seen before! Our English guide was very informative and had lot of knowledge of the area! The value for money of this tour with everything included is great! Highly recommend booking this tour! 🙌🏼

Best tour of Uyuni - highly recommend!!
A super excursion to see the beautiful highlights of south Bolivia! Highly recommend!!. We did the 3d tour from San Pedro. Communication and process was efficient and prompt, the company answered all my questions on WhatsApp quickly . I booked online with the private rooms and all tickets/ admissions to be paid for. We had a great driver (spanish only) who was great and caring for your needs. He was able to provide insight into each stop. What was amazing was that we were the first group (maybe from like 20 jeeps?) at all the spots which allowed for the best photos and being able to reach the accommodation in good time to relax and shower before dinner. We didn't ask for the early start but I would maybe recommend asking (our group did well to keep all stops relatively short, which helped). Accommodation is standard but the salt house is cool; we did get the best rooms but paid an extra $100 per person for private ensuite rooms. Food was decent to keep you going but there were some highlights each night also. You have an option to the sunrise on the Salt flats. HIGHLY recommend. It means leaving at 4am but again we the first there and had amazing views. Some things to note: - Bring some bolivian pesos. As we chose to pay for all park tickets etc in advance we assumed we wouldn't really need cash. It turned out that while it covered the tickets (~200-250 pesos), you need to buy water, snacks and pay to use the toilet at some stops. Bring 2L of water at least and some snacks. - Our driver spoke no English. This wasn’t a problem as I could understand some and we had someone in our group from Brazil who was fluent. Enquire about English tour guides if you need - A lot of driving/ dust. We were in the back with less space but coped as are smaller. Bring a mask and stretch regularly.

The whole trip with Visit South America was an out of this world experience. Incredible places, activities, amazing tour guides, and best customer service for any unpredictable circumstance.

We booked a 3 day private tour and also made a special request to help out with my ring proposal. I couldn't have asked for a better team to help me out with such a special moment.

I would strongly recommend Visit South America for this tour or any other around South America.

We really enjoyed our private 3-day/2-night tour. The sites were breathtaking and we hit everything we wanted to see. Our guide and driver (Alex and Walter) were knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely professional. The SUV was comfortable for the long rides, and the hotels we stayed at were great. The tour was also coordinated well from start to finish, with regular check-ins from the tour company along the way via WhatsApp. Overall we had a fantastic time, and would strongly recommend this tour.

We concluded our 3 day tour and I only have positive feedback.
Starting from the booking, Kevin and his colleagues were very helpful and answering any possible questions I had. The tour was very well organised, the lunch food in both days excellent!!! Eddie the driver was very good but Pablo (Pavel his birthname) brings it to another level. Excellent knowledge, very very polite with manners, always helpful. This is a tour guide that can only bring you positive reviews. I have been to more than 70 countries, have met many tour guides but Pablo stands out. Bravo again and thank you for everything,

Our trip with Paola (english speaking guide) and Albaro (spanish speaking driver) was amazing. A big thank you to Sofia for organizing this great trip. We had the best guide and driver 😊. Many thanks 😍. It was a lot of money, but it was worth it. We saw these beautiful nature with many landscapes and animals. Every day was different. We can also recommend a night in the luxury salt hotel, which was very relaxing.

What an incredible, private tour of Salar de Uyuni. We saw more than expected. Our guides were incredible! One guide spoke English and took great pics of us. The other was a driver extraordinaire. Both guides were very knowledgeable of the area. The vehicle was safe and comfortable. I would recommend this tour to others for sure. Unique, fabulous experience with memories for a lifetime.

We had a look at and communicated with a lot of tour operators - in the end we opted for Visit South America since I immediately had a good feeling when writing with Sofia. It was a very personalised guidance, she answered every single question and communication was very quick and uncomplicated.
The tour itself was perfect - we decided to do the private tour with stays in Palacio del Sal and Takya Hotel del Desierto. Although the price is a lot higher compared to the shared tours with cheaper hotels, we would definitely choose that option again - it is worth the money!
We were picked up from the hotel from Hensi (with impeccable driving skills) and Dioni (our English-speaking guide and simultaneous Spanish teacher). The two took best care of us, either by explaining Bolivia, the surroundings, doing a million pictures from and with us, treated us with a nice Bolivian lunch, helped us with checking in or at the border, etc.
Seeing the Salt Flats, Incahuasi Island, the Lagoons etc. combined with a little group and a stay in very good hotels made our trip so much worth it. Foremost, however, the people made it very special, since we felt very welcomed and in good care from the very beginning.
Thank you Sofia & Jeff for all the information, tips etc. in the beginning and a big, big thank you to Dioni & Hensi for making this trip so unforgettable ("thank you for the explanation and a million points for you two" - we will meet either in the flooded saltflats or Austria again :-) ).

We booked a 3-day private tour with Visit South America after many failed attempts with other tour companies (e.g. no reply, payment not through). Sofia helped us getting all the itineraries ready prior to the trip and Jeff provided a very detailed briefing the day before we arrived in Uyuni. We had a fantastic time led by our guide, Marcelo, and driver, Cristo. They were very patient with us taking pictures of the salt flat and suggested some really creative ideas. Marcelo did a great job explaining the scenery and we engaged in some good conversations about Bolivia in general on the second night over wine. There wasn't any road after the Uyuni town centre so be prepared for some bumpy ride. I was extremely impressed with Cristo's driving and navigation.
