Following pickup at your Reykjavik hotel, board a climate-controlled vehicle to start your comprehensive tour of the city. Listen to engaging commentary about the history and culture of Iceland's capital city while making stops at the following landmarks:
Explore Hofdi House in northern Reykjavik, where the important summit between President Ronald Reagan and Secretary General Mikhail Gorbachev took place in 1986. You will also visit Hallgrimskirkja (the largest church in Iceland and one of its tallest structures), the University of Iceland area and the old town center, where the Icelandic parliament Althingi and the town hall are situated.
Stop by the Perlan building, which was built on water tanks that hold the city's hot water supply. Here you can enjoy the spectacular view over Reykjavik and its surroundings from Perlan’s top-floor revolving restaurant.
Visit the presidential residence at Bessastadir, built between 1761 and 1766 and home to Iceland's president.
At the conclusion of your 3-hour tour, enjoy drop-off back at your Reykjavik hotel.

My suggestion is to get yourself settled into your hotel, grab a bite and stretch your legs before the tour. I think there is a 1 pm tour (but contact them first confirm). Also, when you call them, ask where the nearest pick up point is. There are designated pick up points for different tours throughout the city. So make sure you are at the right point. The tour is very useful if you have never been to Reykjavik before. You touch on many of the key attractions. In my opinion, it is a good day to start your visit.
