Meet a driver at your hotel in Sedona, then learn about desert geology and history during the beautiful drive to the Grand Canyon.
You choose the day’s itinerary when booking. If you opt for a trip on the century-old Grand Canyon Railway, you’ll be serenaded by cowboys and old-time musicians, with have free time to shop, explore, and buy lunch at the South Rim.
Select a helicopter tour to see the Grand Canyon from the air, swooping into the canyon itself for spectacular views followed by lunch in the National Park. Choose an IMAX experience and you’ll see the Grand Canyon on a towering screen, covering more terrain than you could on any single tour, before continuing into the National Park for lunch. The trip back to Sedona includes a shopping stop in the Navajo nation's Cameron Trading Post, and a family-friendly movie will be screened along the way.
Customize the perfect tour from Sedona to the Grand Canyon South Rim, choosing between a Grand Canyon Railway trip, a helicopter flight, and a spectacular Grand Canyon IMAX movie. The trip also includes time to shop for souvenirs and take photographs, as well as a beautiful drive through Oak Creek Canyon, Navajo nation, and the mountain town of Flagstaff. Plus, you can leave the navigation to someone else.

The tour we took did not allow that option, but there are other tours available to go down to the bottom, but you must be in good shape and not afraid of heights. There are helicopter tours available, but may not be as informative. We enjoyed the up close look and other points of interest along the way.

On the tour we took, there was not enough time for the train. The IMAX movie about the history of the Grand Canyon was excellent. There were four couples on our day tour. One couple took a helicopter ride while the rest of us viewed the movie. After leaving the movie, our driver picked up the other couple after couple their excursion. We continued our drive to the entrance of the Grand Canyon Park. Once inside the park, we were dropped off for lunch at our chosen lodge. After lunch, we had an hour or so before meeting our van. We made several stops for photos and viewing more important structures within the Park. I would highly recommend a tour that is eight people or less. You will benefit from the small group with interaction among members and your tour guide. We both were extremely pleased with our up close and personal trip to the Grand Canyon. Each couple was dropped off at their hotel/resort. It was well worth the cost for this tour.
