The great part is that we spent plenty of time at both attractions. It is a long day but Cody is very organized and efficient keeping the tour on track. Cody is great providing a lot of information along the way and we were quite comfortable in the tour bus. I highly recommend this tour!Written 7 October 2024

- 413marcim0 contributionsA journey to remember!I wouldn’t normally give 13 hours in a bus as fantastic review, but this ride was just that! Our tour guide, Cody, was an excellent host and gave us wonderful information about the places we were visiting and the things we were seeing along the way. Photographs just don’t do justice to we saw in Sedona and at the canyon with our own eyes. Highly recommend!Written 24 May 2024

- Safari680650338490 contributionsGreat trip and guideThe sights are awesome and Arizona has become my favourite place I’ve visited. It is very unique and beautiful. The tour was structured very well and flowed easily; small groups felt more comfortable. Lunch was good and the itinerary made the 3 hour trip to Grand Canyon simple and engaging; Cody the guide was very knowledgeable on Arizona and I learned lots that I would not have known/seen otherwise. I also appreciated his commentary on Navajo nation, shows he knows his stuff about AZ. Coolest tour and very accommodating. 👍🏾 Would highly recommend.Written 29 April 2024
- I3239LFerinm0 contributionsBeautiful scenery. A must do tourCody was an awesome tour guide! He is knowledge about the area. The tour itself was beautiful and an experience my son and I will never forget. The drive to the Grand Canyon and Sedona were absolutely beautiful. The hour and a half or so at the Grand Canyon gave us enough time to look at the buildings and scenery, same with Sedona. We got to tour Uptown Sedona and see the Red Rocks. I highly recommend this tour. Thank you Cody for a great day and tour! We will be doing another tour the next time we are in the areaWritten 18 April 2024
- Sam D0 contributionsPerfect Little Taste of the Grand Canyon and SedonaCody was an amazing guide. From start to finish we got exactly what we paid for. This trip is worth the money. The free lunch provided was great and filling for the long day. We were able to stop and use the restrooms multiple times throughout the driving portions. The Grand Canyon was full of great views and I felt like we had a lot of time to check out a lot different angles walking around the park. Downtown Sedona was great for shopping and great red rock views. I felt like we had a good amount of time to explore the shops. We then left town to go to our last lookout. Bell rock and Courthouse rock were perfect endings to the day. I think trip is a great experience and gives you a little taste of the canyon and Sedona. Please support this great small business. Thank you for all your hard work Cody. It does not go unnoticed by your guests.Written 17 April 2024
- Becky H0 contributionsMust take tour!Cody was an excellent tour guide and we fit a lot into one day which was just perfect. - burnzo53000 contributionsOne of the Wonders of the Natural WorldYou don’t want to miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity with the most enthusiastic, knowledgeable tour guide, Cody! We decided to take this tour so we could sit back, relax and let someone else do the driving. We were very fortunate to stumble upon Cody and his company, Wandering Heart Adventures. Cody has a passion for Country and travel and it shows! He is not only very knowledgeable, he is extremely organized and because of his organization we were able to see the Grand Canyon, Grand Canyon Village, Sedona Valley, Oak Creek Canyon, Yavapai Point, plus do lots of shopping, any many stops for picturesque pictures with breathtaking views. (And, of course, bath room breaks along the way.) This trip also included an entrée lunch of our choice. He even picked us up at our Air bnb. Don’t wait. Book today to see one of the most beautiful natural wonders of the world and tell Cody the people from Maine suggested you to go. You will NOT be disappointed. Thank you Cody! p.s. This is a long trip. It was about 13 hours from pick up to drop off. Not sure it is suitable for small children.Written 31 March 2024
- smbrand760 contributionsExcellent way to see the Grand Canyon and SedonaCody did an excellent job on the tour. He kept us informed at all times what we were going to be doing at every step of the way and informed us of all sites to see along the way. The trip is a long day, but Cody breaks it up so you never feel like you are stuck in the car too long, and really was great about checking on everyone in the group to see how they were doing. Overall, I can't say enough about how well this trip was run.Written 28 March 2024

Picked up promptly and our guide was friendly and went out of the way to make sure everyone was comfortable. Nicely spaced out stops to stretch our legs and take a bathroom break. Once we reached the destination our guide made sure everyone had everything we needed and was exactly where he said he would be when it was time to be picked up. Had a fantastic trip and saw some pretty amazing sites!

Cody was an awesome guide, picking us up at our hotel in Scottsdale in his comfortable sprinter-style van and sharing a wealth of knowledge along the 3.5 hour trip to our first stop, Horseshoe Bend. This site was both magnificent, and easily accessible from the parking lot, with a 10 minute walk over to the area of the bend. A totally manageable and awe-inspiring canyon trip. Our second stop, Antelope Canyon, was even more incredible than the pictures. Our Navajo guide at the canyon was also very knowledgeable, and super skilled with smartphones in getting the perfect shots! :) We were so happy we chose this tour provider and these locations to experience the beauty of Arizona and the Navajo reservation. Thank you Cody!! Hope to see you at Undertow on our next trip :)

My husband and I did the Horseshoe Bend/Antelope Canyon tour as well as the Grand Canyon/Sedona tour during our short stay in Arizona. This is a great option if your home base is in Scottsdale and are desiring an overview of the state’s treasures. Cody was our tour guide for both tours and he is a true professional — he runs a tight ship and ensures the group is punctual for the best experience possible. He is also very knowledgeable; while on the road he shares interesting facts, but also factors in quiet time :) The van is a Mercedes sprinter van that is comfortable and has USB chargers on the walls. Cody also incorporates multiple comfort stops en route to our destinations and chooses places that have good restroom accommodations, which is appreciated. These day tours are long, so you end the day pretty tired, but it’s so worth it. Highly recommend booking with this company!

This was hands down the best part of our trip to Arizona. We were picked up from our hotel and everything during the entirety of the trip was seamless from drop offs to pick ups at Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. Cody gave us great insight and information about the surrounding areas during our drive and made the long trip there and back very comfortable. We were able to pick what to eat for lunch from a menu and Cody placed the order and picked it up while we were touring Antelope Canyon so it was ready when we were done. He also made extra stops for bathroom and snacks so that we did not have to use the facilities at the attraction sites. Everything was well thought out and catered to our needs and wants. I would 100% recommend this trip to anyone coming to visit Arizona. Thanks Cody!

Note that this tour is really long (12–14 hours in total). Besides visiting Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend and stopping for lunch, you spend most of time on the road, so naturally it can be quite tiring, and I’d highly recommend planning accordingly, not only in terms of clothing, but also snacks and, relatedly, bathroom breaks. That notwithstanding, this tour is absolutely worth it, and I can’t recommend it enough. Cody—for whom five stars aren’t really enough—plans everything down to a T, so that the only thing you have to worry about is enjoying yourself. By the way, you get to witness many beautiful sites as you go through, say, Flagstaff and the Navajo Nation, reminding you of the underrated beauty of North America. Visiting Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend are experiences like no other, and going on this tour is an ideal way to have them.

The canyon was amazing! Words cannot describe the visual experience. The canyon tour guide was awesome. However, the driver must have been having a bad day. His mood was less than pleasant, and his driving was atrocious, making for an unpleasant trip there and back.

Sorry to hear of this interpretation of the day. I'm a little confused. We had a well organized day with great weather and good attractions. I tried interacting with your group multiple times but your headphones were in and you and your wife seemed disengaged. I was chatting and conversating with all other guests. I make it a priority to make every experience a great one. I never get comments on bad driving. Yes there's is frost heaves on navajo nation and az mph is 75mph which can stun some people but we make safety a priority. Tbh you didn't look like you were happy to be on this vacation. Sorry to hear it. We look at all things but I advise our guests to read the rest of the reviews.

From inquiry to scheduling to pick up and the full day tour Cody was attentive and friendly. Couldn’t book solo through other websites but I was able to book for 1 directly through his website. He advised me to stay in the Scottsdale area as pick up was included from there. He sent a reminder the day before with things to bring and pick up time. Pick up was prompt. We made lots of stops for restrooms and snacks on our way up to Paige and our way back. Cody was very informative giving us information about the areas as we were driving. He took care of everything we didn’t have to book anything additional. The tour of antelope canyon was amazing and so was horeshoe bend. Be prepared to be out all day as Paige is about 3hrs (plus) from the phoenix area. The van is spacious and comfortable and provided good views during the drive. I would highly recommend this tour.

Had a wonderful experience and it was great to have someone do the driving for us. Cody was very informative and kept us on schedule. He made sure to make plenty of stops at clean restrooms. Horseshoe Bend - beautiful. Antelope Canyon - a must see. Simply amazing formations and something like you’ve never seen before. Our Indian guide was the best and showed us the ideal camera settings to get fantastic photos. Be sure to bring a phone charger to replenish your battery (on the van - nice that they have usb ports in every row), as you can easily take hundreds of photos. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Antelope Canyon is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. To say it was amazing would be an understatement. It is one of Mother Nature’s greatest creations. Our guide (I believe his name was Jonathan….sorry not good with names) was very informative and a fantastic photographer!!! Cody was our driver and he made us feel safe throughout the drive from/to our hotel. The views were well worth the long drive.

My 16 year old daughter and I had the pleasure of taking the Antelope Canyon/Horseshoe bend day tour from Scottsdale with Cody. He was a great guide, very knowledgeable and accommodating (lots of stops!), and it was so nice to just sit back and relax and enjoy the beautiful drive. Highly recommend!

Hi,
My husband and I are in good shape and do a lot of hiking. We've done anything from 2 miles to 40+ mile hiking trips as a couple. However, we now have a one year old and was wondering if it would be doable with our son and if you guys allow children that young.
Thanks,
Erika
