Where to.begin? I met Louis my first day in baños and immediately it was obvious he was there to help without an ounce of sales pressure. He pointed me in the right direction even when he knew I wasn't interested in specific tours. So I decided to book an Amazon 2 day tour with Louis after he spent at least an hour giving me explicit details of what to expect. Even better, he came to the Amazon as our guide. Louis explained to all aboard in both Spanish and English every step of the way. His coordination and caring about everyone was beyond professional. My husband and I had a great time. Allison who helped us book this tour, paragliding and Selva was always very helpful and answered all of our questions. It was our first time rafting and we loved it, highly recommend. Our raft captain was really cool, gave good and clear directions. Guido is a super kind guy that owns the business, he'll always have a smile on his face. His son Alexander is a Spanish teacher in Banos, and also part of the family business, so anything you need, he will always be happy to help. I rented a car, did the canopy tour and the bike tour that goes through all the waterfalls in the area (including pailón de diablo). All the equipment was really good and we had no problems at all. Highly recommended!

I heard about Alexander Tours SA through Wanderbus and I booked the canyoning, Paragliding, Casa De Arbol, and Waterfall tour with Darwin. Darwin scheduled and booked my itenerary and made sure I was dropped off and picked up from my hostel after each tour. He always answers his WhatsApp and communicated just to make sure I was alright and to check in with my activities and schedule. I recommend Alexander Tours SA and want to say they can be trusted. Prices are super reasonable and might I add that Darwin served as a Veteran in the Airforce in the US.

Rented mountain bikes for a waterfall tour, they gave us helmets, locks for the bike and a map that is very easy to follow. Visited the main falls and then paid 2 bucks to one of the trucks that goes up and down the mountains and went to the tree house, then it was an easy and beautiful bike ride down the mountain. We booked a canyoning trip for the following day, John was our guide and he was amazing! I was so afraid but he kept encouraging me and made me feel very safe. I had a great time, don’t hesitate to book your trips with them and ask for John!

We met Carlos on our Wanderbus going into Baños and he was very helpful right from the beginning. We didn't book anything prior to getting there but it was no problem at all as he recommended all of the best things to do and at what times for our schedule. He even walked us to our hotel as we did not know how to get there from the Wanderbus location. We also don't speak very much Spanish but it was no problem as he translated for us on some of our tours. Would definitely recommend coming here for all of your tours especially the bridge jumping! He even used his GoPro and filmed us jumping!

Carlos made our stay in Baños 1000% better! We are so grateful to have met him and he helped us out with everything we needed and more! Truly a great guy and recommend him to the highest extent! When we arrived in Baños by wanderbus he was there to walk us to our hotel and help us out with anything and everything banos! Trust me, it is the best decision you can make that you will be happy about on every single day of your stay in beautiful Banos. I arrived with a friend by Wanderbus to Banos and this is how we knew about Alexander Tour. We were happy to have a personal recommendation and so we went directly to the office the next day... This is how our story began. The moment you step in the office you become part of their family. Carlos, Juan and Darwin are amazing! Of course they know everything about the activities they offer in Banos (and they only sell good quality and qualified guides) but they also organize tours to the jungle (try Cuyabeno - it's amazing!). But more important: The work they do is way more than the work of a normal tour agency. We were always welcome to spend time in the office, hang out with them, listen to music and share some precious moments. One of the best activities is the Mojito Tour, don't miss it! Because of the strikes in Ecuador we finally stayed 12 days instead of 6 in Banos. So we had a lot of time in the city and in the end we did every single activity - some of them even twice. Despite the protests in the country Darwin, Carlos and Juan helped us to make the best out of the situation: They did the activities with us (Darwin is the best tour guide you can find! He knows everything and gives you all the insider information that you need), together we organized a huge and delicious BBQ in our hostel (Juan really knows how to cook and prepare Mojitos), we went out after the Mojito Tour (and they really know how to dance)...So all in all they were always there for us and became our friends. After I left and continued my journey in South America I returned two more times to Banos - because of them and the amazing memories I made there, thank you Darwin, Juan and Carlos! I had the best time!

We met Darwin, the owner, during our tour with wanderbus and this was just perfect. We arrived in Baños and we spent the whole evening in their office with his crew Carlos and Juan for planning, talking , laughing (and a bit of drinking of a local Schnaps😜). It was perfect to got in contact with THIS agency and not needing to choose out of the plenty other agencies in Baños. They are not only perfect and passionated guides with great and honest recommendations what to do in and around Baños - even more important they are great people with their own interesting and unique background. It was such a pleasure to met them all and we stayed much longer then planned in Baños. Oh yes and we did a lot of activities with them: an incredible rafting tour, the very nice waterfall mountainbike tour including Ziplining , the fun & adrenaline generating canyoning tour and the interesting and never-forget Amazonas tour. All fair-priced, well-organized and definitely worth the money. We can highly recommend these guys and you will not be disappointed choosing Alexandertours and this great team. I had the most amazing time with Alexander Tours! They were welcoming and so knowledgeable. I felt like their priority at all times and they made sure I was well taken care of for all my excursions. Canyoning was a blast, I was encouraged when I started to doubt myself on the last huge waterfall, I over came my fears and it was one of the best things I have ever done in my life. The waterfalls were breathtaking. I always felt safe with Alexander Tours knowing Darwin, Jose and Jose Jr were there making sure everything was perfect. I don't speak much Spanish, but everyone at the agency is bilingual, so they were able to translate for me as well!! They showed me all the best local spots to eat and party. I Can't wait to go back and have more adventures!!

Darwin worked with us last minute to see the attractions we wanted. He made excellent recommendations for activities and gave good advice for things to avoid (ex. biking down the waterfall route during the busy holiday weekend). He took us to see extra things as well. He treated us like friends, and we all had a blast! We plan to book other tours with Alexander Tours in the future and will certainly recommend this company to others.
