Patricia was an outstanding and experienced guide who showed us through the National Park. She updated us while we traveled and explained the flora, fauna, history, geology, etc. of the park and Argentina! She took great photos as well!

They advertise departure times on their booking and then they make changes last minute which doesn’t work when you have a flight or other plans. Then they give you problems and treat you rudely when a refund is requested because they made the changes to the tour plan. Do not recommend working with this company.

Our tour guide Patricia was extremely knowledgeable. She took our group to all of the key sights and showed us best places to capture great photos. She really made the tour. Good information on meeting location provided beforehand.

We booked this excursion as an alternative to a ship excursion. We got a whatsapp message the day before confirming our tour which was reassuring. Our bus and guide were waiting on the pier and left on time. Our guide was very informative and spoke very good English. We seemed to be ahead of the wave of other tour busses and there were many. We were given enough time at each site and saw the sites we were supposed to see. We were given the option to be dropped off at the ship or in town. We thought the tour provided good value and would recommend it if you are visiting Ushuaia

This was a memorial trip to the national park Tierra del Fuego. Our guide Sofie exceeded expectations and spoke highly of the history and area. (in 2 languages). The scenery was amazing and the town was great to walk through at the end of the tour. Only slight downside was that 3 ships were in town and the stops got a bit crowded at times.

Penguin expeditions was super friendly and helpful. They accommodated my many needs and requests and were incredibly responsive. Would 10/10 use them if you are planning a trip to Antarctica or Ushuaia!

Nice to have the coach waiting for us once we left the ship. I thought we were on a smaller van and was surprised by the bus. It wasn't completely full so that made boarding/exiting go fairly quickly. Great driver and very knowledgeable tour guide, former teacher. He made a point of sharing pictures and ensuring everyone saw the materials he had. Very good english. It was busy at the park. But, if you lingered awhile most of the crowds would move along and you could enjoy the views. Took a few minutes on a side trail, absolutely empty! Stop at Post office was a pretty view and there was time to explore along the trail if you didn't want to wait in line. Our guide was thoughtful to share that we could get a certificate and have it stamped at the visitor center by the pier. All for free. Also space there to sit for awhile and write out those post cards. Nice rest room and friendly staff. The park visitor center was busy but exhibit area was fairly quiet. Guess most folks already knew everything! Especially enjoyed the option to walk from the VC along the lake to parking area. Again, very quiet and just our group. Glad our guide offered to do this. Beautiful view of the lake and mountains. Some waterfowl also. In spite of being on a large bus and it being cruise ship day I enjoyed the park. A clear sunny crisp day. Would've liked more time to take a few more side trails but appreciate our guide taking a stroll with us. Great chance for some awesome photography. Enjoyed time afterwards walking along the water front, getting some ice cream to use up those Argentina Pesos; and picking up a new travel mug and a pendent.

It hits all the sites without any of the walking. The end of the world sign, end of the world post office, and a couple of lakes. You can also do the train if you like, but it’s not obligatory.

The coach was waiting for us on the quay, it was around 30 minute drive to the park. Overall it was relatively scenic with some good views of the mountains and lakes. Unfortunately it was very busy with many coach loads of people from the cruise ship, which all appeared to stop at the same place. We queued for almost 20 minutes at the post office to buy a postcard and stamps.

Lots of trees, dead fallen trees, 3 lakes. Boring. Only redeeming site was post office at the end of the world

While the guide and the driver were very friendly and knowledgeable, I did not like the trip. The company was recommended by my apartment host, so I went with it, and was not impressed. The tour was rushed — we only had 15-20 minutes at each location, spending the rest of the time in the car. The surroundings were magnificent, but we were not able to enjoy them at all, being rushed back into the van. If this were in the tour description, I would not have booked it.

We had no problem with the tour van, guide and driver. In the park, we took a walk. The scenery was not that impressive since we went there in March. I had my winter coat on. Besides the lake, there were no beautiful plants. The scenery may be different in December, January, or February. The most memorable stop is the southernmost post office in the world.

We booked a last minute trip to Antarctica via penguinos and Rodrigo and his team gave us excellent customer service and his English was very good. We booked our tour from the U.K., penguinos sell lots of last minute tours to Antarctica and also day trips to ushuaia. Located close to the Main Street in ushuaia!

The tour was well organised and conducted. Nonetheless, the discription should change for there are no more longer walks and in no case snacks provided by the tour operator. For that only 3 stars - the tour itself is a must!!!
