- debrasZ6195HL0 contributionsZen experience at Perito Moreno GlacierI spent a perfect day to and from and at the Perito Moreno Glacier. There is nothing that would have made the experience any better. I learned much, I saw every aspect of the glacier, enjoyed the ride and views to and from El Calafate, and experienced the beauty, the changing nature, and the awe of the glacier. It was a Zen moment as we listened to the crackling of the glacier, saw the slippage, observed the rippling effect. The driver and guide were the best! I fulfilled a dream.Written 15 April 2024
- Roving277138671670 contributionsAmazing experience! This was the trip of a lifetime!!! The glaciers were amazing, trekking up to see the Fitz roy was incredible. Having the transportation and logistics organized for us made it really easy. Our only regret is that we didn’t do the mini trekking on the glacier!Written 9 January 2024
- marcelmZ2448DP0 contributionsGreat private tourExcellent tour! We had great views from the boat and walkways of the Perito Moreno Glaciar. Our guide, Julieta, was fantastic and highly informative. Her love for the parks is apparent. Highly recommend!Written 28 December 2023
- JenellW0 contributionsActive yet relaxing - great way to see PatagoniaThis trip was awesome. What you're getting is someone to book everything for you - no need to find bus schedules, research hotels, book tours. I usually love doing these things, but I've not had a lot of free time and was getting frustrated with researching these things on my own. Having this group take care of it all for me was a HUGE relief and they did an AWESOME job. I wanted an epic trip for a milestone birthday, and this delivered! I initially wanted to do as much hiking as possible, but I'm glad we had the pace that we did. For our open day in El Calafate, we independently took a bus out to Lago Roca for the day to do some hiking, which gives you a view of the Perito Moreno Glacier. There is opportunity for a lot of hiking in El Chalten (I recommend buying trekking poles in town for hikes). I hoped for more hiking in Torres del Paine, but honestly there is so much to see there, given the time that I had for my overall vacation, I was grateful to get to see so much of the park by taking the bus tour. Overall, we were the right amount of busy to maintain an active yet relaxing vacation. I felt like I got to see a little bit of everything and can't wait to go back when I have more time to spend in the area!Written 12 April 2023
- Londonslb0 contributionsFantastic day up close with the glacierWe had a superb day visiting Perito Moreno glacier. From being picked up by our guide we were made to feel welcome and she did a superb job at explaining both logistics of the day and some interesting facts as we drove. This was done seamlessly in English and Spanish. The trekking on the glacier was breathtaking. The group was split into English and Spanish speakers with a separate guide taking each group. Getting the equipment (helmet / crampons) was very efficient and we were quickly on the ice. There are plenty of stops to see amazing features and take photos so your legs never get tired. You also stop for a whiskey with glacier ice which was fun. Would thoroughly recommend this experience!Written 8 November 2022
- Daniel B0 contributionsLife changing experienceThese group of people provided me with a life changing experience. Each tour guide provide a non rush experience. They also explain the history around the area. They were on time with hotel pickup. I personally had a private guide for the Cerro los Cristales hike. Hes now my friend for life. I would highly recommend.Written 30 December 2021
- Dannysupersonic0 contributionsUnmissable experienceI was a little concerned as I read in many reviews that this tour is too long, and yes, I found it long. But you are in Patagonia, distances are supposed to be huge and the landscape is a big reward, so the distance is in the end acceptable. If you are afraid of distances don't come to Patagonia! The guide and driver (Matias and Mauro) were highly professional and let us experience the park from many beautiful places, so in only 1 day we have been able to get the most out of the national park. Border crossing didn't present any problem, and even the lunchbox was tasty and abundant. Not a lot of toilets during the trip, but this is nobody's fault so just be prepared. Unmissable!Written 23 December 2019
- rcnesneg0 contributionsAwesome day trip! This trip is long - runs all day to drive to Chile. It's absolutely beautiful though and well worth it. Amazing views, fun little hikes, and made new friends! Even saw a puma!Written 20 December 2019
- Nicole L0 contributionsAmazing! This is was an incredible way to start our trip in Patagonia! Eduardo, the guide, is very knowledge and fun. This is a great way to explore the river and it’s surrounding areas. A personal highlight for me is how small the tour is. You’re not competing to see things and you really get to enjoy yourself.Written 2 December 2019

- HsiaCkao0 contributionsNot worthThis 13-day package, there’re about 6 days on your own or the travel agent arranged you on local bus from city to city, no pick up from accommodation and bus stop, all on your own expenses. If you are on transfer from city to city and that count one day of package. Accommodations on this package were cheap arranged, no starts hotel, far from the “town”. Very inconvenient. I will not recommend any tours, packages that offer/arrange by Say Hueque travel agent based in Buenos Aires Argentina,Written 16 April 2019
- Jim B0 contributionsExcellent service from MariaFound this company from Travel Local. They adapted tours to fit our requirements and their advisor Maria was really able to understand what we wanted. Excellent service and a very good trip.Written 5 March 2019
- jaypie12290 contributionsAmazing Patagonian Trip!My 2 friends and I have been dreaming of going to Patagonia. We booked this tour for mid January, and it truly made the trip completely stress free. Brenda was incredible at keeping us updated with the planning of the trip. Since there were 3 of us, she was able to find us "triples" at the hotels (we stayed in comfort hotels). We saved money this way, which we were able to use towards booking excursions (Perito Moreno Glacier and Torres Del Paine). The final itinerary was beautifully organized, and made it easy to follow. This tour is perfect for you if you don't enjoy planning the logistical aspects of a trip (hotels, transportation). Otherwise, it is a very independent trip and you can do as you like on your leisure days! Highly recommend!!Written 4 February 2019

Martin, our tour guide was extremely courteous and knowledgeable. He made sure my family and I had a great time. Please note that you should purchase the entrance to the national park yourself. It is easier just to purchase it online. Then a representative of the park comes to the bus, just at the entrance of the park, to check everyone has the entrance. We had 2.5 hours of free time at the site, and then we took the boat to the glaciar. The boat is highly recommended as you will see other views more closely. We purchased the boat tickets at the site as it was 80k argentinean pesos per adult. Children from 15 years or younger paid 65k pesos.

This experience was absolutely epic. I think Perito Moreno Glacier is one of the most magnificent things I’ve seen to date.
In terms of the company, they were punctual with time, our tour guide was friendly and informative, and it was great value for money. We did the optional boat tour and it was well worth paying extra, gaining perspective of the glacier via boat and via the viewing platforms.
No complaints.

Clear communication from the company before the visit to arrange pick up location and to sort out buying the National Park entrance ticket. Friendly and knowledgable guide who explained everything clearly in English and Spanish.
Appreciated having a couple of hours to enjoy visiting the glacier on the boardwalks. Would recommend getting the boat trip as it was amazing it would mean you might have too much time at the boardwalk area without it.

We loved the visit, we had plenty of time to tour the Perito Moreno on walkways, and the spectacular views on the boat. Mention apart from our guide, Naty, knew a lot and was super interesting everything he told us during the journey. The excursion is great if you can not/will trek on the glacier, I would recommend it.

This was a great tour. The bus picked us promptly at our hotel, and our guide Florencia was outstanding. We had a mixed group of English and Spanish speaking people, and she repeated all of her commentary in English and Spanish. We had a great day weather-wise, and the glacier is stunning. We took the optional boat ride and really enjoyed the close-up views of the glacier that you can't get just from the boardwalk. Highly recommend!

For around 190 euros for 2 people we were picked up from the hotel in El Calafate and transported to the Perito Moreno glacier. A tour guide briefly told us something about the national park. Then we were able to hike independently for about 4 hours on the Perito Moreno Glacier. The price does not include guided tours, park entrance fees or lunch. If you had rented a car it would have been significantly cheaper, even a taxi from El Calfate to the national park is cheaper! Absolutely not recommended. But the glacier is very worth it!!!!

Hi Michael S
We regret to learn that your tour experience did not meet your expectations. Guided tours often appeal to travelers seeking convenience and peace of mind due to their logistical support. Furthermore, for those unfamiliar with the area or language, having a guide can provide reassurance and assistance.
The decision to book a tour or arrange independent travel varies based on individual preferences and priorities.
Thank you for sharing your feedback and taking the time to leave us your comments.
We hope to welcome you back to Argentina in the future!
Best regards,
Ayelen

Pick up was late, no explanation. The guide did not bother to introduce herself.
All communication in English was from a memorised script and was unintelligible. She spoke into a microphone that was touching her lips so all that she said was distorted, in addition she spoke too quickly. All her Spanish comments were more than double the length of the English ones, so clearly she was not providing the same level of information in English.
She held up at several times some maps and sheets of paper that she appeared to be referring to, but they were too small to see and her speech as completely unintelligible.
On arrival at the viewing area she had left the bus before all the passengers had got off. It took about 15 minutes searching to find her so that we could get some information. Even then she did not appear to be interested in helping us. We asked were we could find her if needed and when we looked later at the place she indicated she was not to be found.
Clearly she needs to find a job that she can do and one she enjoys.

Hi ColemanEB
We are sorry to hear about this inconvenience. Our main goal is to give our passengers the best travel experience, and it saddens us to hear about it.
In regular tours, the pickup times are estimated and depend on the amount of passengers and hotels involved in the tour that day. Sometimes it may occur a delay in pick up service.
Regarding your comments about the guide, it surprises us to hear about your experience. All our staff are extremely professional. It would be great to have information about the date you took the tour or the guide´s name so we can do the proper research on this.
We offer you our sincere apologies for this situation.
We really care, and it is our main concern, your opinion. So, of course, we highly appreciate your Feedback and we will work to improve our services.
Looking forward to welcoming you again in the future
Best regards
Ayelen

I recommend the north side, icebergs, at noon if the temperature is not very low you can see calving of both the glacier and the icebergs. Walking along the walkways we were able to see 1 glacier calving and 3 icebergs. Beautiful, I would do it all again.

From the time I made the reservation until the day of the tour, I received prompt responses to all my inquiries, so I was able to participate in the tour with peace of mind. The tour time allocation was also appropriate and very good. However, I felt that the price of the tour was set quite aggressively.

This tour was the perfect way to see the Perito Moreno Glacier. The pace of the tour allowed ample free time to see the park and the information that was presented was the right amount and relevant. Analia , our guide was excellent, and did a great job keeping the tour on track and positive as the weather presented challenges until about 1pm. Amazingly, it rained, snowed, was cold, comfortable, sunny, overcast, very windy, and very nice. That is a lot of weather in one morning.Being able to see the park from a vehicle during the tough weather was really a nice benefit. The boat option was worth it for us and we captured a great video of ice breaking off the glacier. However the boat is not a real smooth operation. The park is spectacular. While the glaciers are the highlight, the entire park is beautiful. This was the perfect tour for us and highly recommend it. Thanks again to Analia for doing a great job.

You advise additional fees:
US$25 and,
Admission to Perito Moreno Glacier - no price listed.
Is there one fee or two fees. If two fees, can you advise the additional fee please. Its very confusing.
Written 21 April 2022
Just one fee for park. Per person. You can do online ahead of time or the bus stops at the park entrance and you can do there

Hola,
Written 17 March 2022
The airport is not far from downtown El Calafate. Maybe 15 minutes. But of course you have to wait for your bags and possibly wait for a taxi. It's a very small airport - so we had to wait probably 15 minutes for the cab.
The tours pick up from different hotels around the town so it's hard to say exactly when they will be at your hotel.
It's a longish drive then to the park, the boat and the balconies.
I would contact the tour company and ask them if you will have time to make the tour.
