    Exceeded Expectations!
Absolutely loved our Asado Adventure and Street Art Tour with Frank. The food was amazing, the stories and information entertaining, and especially enjoyed the opportunity to partake in Argentinean traditions while being welcomed into someone's beautiful home! The tour went above and beyond in every way. Enjoyed stopping for a wine and cheese tasting as we strolled the Palermo neighborhood. Book it now, you will have an amazing experience!

    Best Experience
Hello Frank, I wanted to take a moment to express that the experience we had on January 25th was the best I have ever encountered during my world tours. You have truly raised the standard for my future adventures. My only regret is that we could have spent more time in Argentina to attend your beer and pizza experiences.

A Great Way to Spend the Day in Buenos Aires
I can't say enough about our experience with Frank at Asado Adventures. From the first contact and the booking process to the drop off at the airport after our tour, everything was incredibly thoughtful, professional, and highly enjoyable. The tour itself was well thought as we traversed the Palermo neighborhood learning about Buenos Aires history, admiring the stunning street art, and purchasing ingredients for our Asado lunch. Once back at Frank's lovely home, we enjoyed appetizers and a cocktail while we watched the Grillmaster prepare our lunch in the amazing outdoor kitchen. It was just the two of us, along with Frank, which made for a wonderfully intimate and private tour. We would highly recommed Frank and Asado Adventures for a great way to explore Buenos Aires for a day.

    Not to be missed!
An absolutely wonderful day with Tom and the team! The chance to learn a bit of the local history and culture, combined with some cooking tips, great food and interaction made this one of our favourite experiences when travelling. A superb value and a complete pleasure.

Fantastic way to spend a day in BA
Superb day. Very relaxed and informal in beautiful surroundings. Food was fantastic and great to get some hands on experience too in preparing the chimichurri. The street art tour and wine tasting in a local wine shop was an unexpected delight. Loved the Asado food and watching Max cooking. Variety of different meats, all exceptionally tasty and well cooked - nothing better than cooking with fire!! Tom was the perfect host - interesting and fun - and we were joined by four Americans who were great company too. The day flew by! Would highly recommend.

Fun Evening Checking Out some Cool Craft Breweries
This was a really enjoyable experience. Jackson, our guide, was very knowledgeable about beer, the breweries, the city and gave us some insight into life in Argentina, as well as recommendations for the rest of our trip in South America. He was very personable and it was like spending an evening with a new friend. He really geared the options at each brewery to our preferences. The beer was very good and each brewery had its own special vibe. The feedback and communication with the tour company is excellent! Highly recommend the Craft Beer tour.

A must have experience on your visit to Buenos Aires!
A great way to experience an authentic asado in Buenos Aires! Being invited to a family asado is a big deal, and most tourists won't experience it during their visit to Argentina. Frank's hosting of a typical asado is a great way to have the authentic experience for yourself. The experience includes helping with preparation and cooking, a neighborhood tour with stops for interesting street art, a wine tasting, and finally, a huge meal with many courses. You're sure to leave full, with a new appreciation of the city and a better understanding of Argentine culture.

    Great family activity
This was such a great introduction to Buenos Aires. Frank is a fantastic host, and is knowledgeable about political history of Argentina and how it has played out in the Palermo neighborhood, specifically. In addition to a walking tour of the beautiful Palermo neighborhood, we enjoyed a delicious traditional "asado" at Frank's home that my kids "helped" prepare (lucky for us, Frank and his extremely talented chefs did the real work).

    A terrific day
We had a terrific day with Augustin, exploring Palermo by foot. Starting with coffee and pastries at an old shop we would never have found, to perfect empanadas and on to an incredible lunch at a secret local place that was so good, my wife and I went back there for dinner the next night. The street art was quite interesting and as we explored, Augustin wove in the history, economics and politics that helped us more fully understand the Argentina and Buenos Aires of today. We even found a special shop with the best Ristretto by far of our trip, engaging in a robust conversation with the barista about the coffee and his machine.

    Fantastic Argentinian Asado Experience!
Our day spent with our host, Frank, was amazing! He really made us feel at home. It was fun learning the culture of asado and helping shop for and prepare it. The food and drinks were fantastic and the ambience superb! Frank’s tour of the neighborhood with its history, murals and local shops was entertaining. It was one of the best experiences we had during our stay in Buenos Aires. We highly recommend it!

Most Amazing MUST DO - Assado, Art & History Experience - in all of Argentina
I was an initially reluctant participant in this food, wine & art adventure arranged in advance by my wife, as we only had 4 days in Buenos Aires BUT how mistaken I was! THIS was one of the HIGHLIGHTS of our trip to Argentina. Frank, our host, would be well suited to appearing in movies on the big screen, doing a cooking class TV series or making documentaries on the History channel - INSTEAD he does all of this for you in person whilst spoiling you with exceptional food, wine & his excellent company. From the incredible comfort of his remarkable home, to the stroll around the trendy Palermo Viejo neighbourhood including local art & bakery and a high end wine dealer & butcher. Not to mention introducing us to “Fernet-Branca” (Fernet con Coca) the Cocktail equivalent of Argentinas other famous drink Maté. If it comes to time or cost considerations - you really CAN’T AFFORD TO MISS this opportunity.

    Fantastic Asado experience in BA!
We had a fantastic day with Frank learning lots about Buenos Aires, and exploring the neighbourhood centred around the wonderful asado experience. The food was delicious and it was very special learning how to create it and sharing it in a private home. I’d highly recommend this tour, we had the best time!

Great way to spend an afternoon!
We didn’t have a lot of time in Buenos Aires and wanted to do something fun with the little time we had. This turned out to be a great experience! Every stop was delicious and just the right amount of food. We really enjoyed learning more about Buenos Aires and Palermo. Frank was an excellent guide. Highly recommend!

Frank was an amazing host. He was very knowledgeable about the neighborhood and street art. And the food was amazing! We will be cooking many of the recipes we learned on the tour. This is an activity you must do when in Buenos Aires!

We very much enjoyed this unique local experience with our expert guide, Agustin! It's hard to find an experience that combines history, art, food, wine and great conversation - all in a half day's leisurely stroll around such a beautiful city. It was my wife's favorite part of our time in Buenos Aires! We would highly recommend this casual outing to get a great 'taste' of urban Argentina...

This tour saved me - I didn't know where to eat in Buenos Aires, what to order, what to see. In fact, I was rather overwhelmed by the possibilities.

This tour was great as we started with a light, traditional Argentinian breakfast and proceeded from there. We toured and learned about the Botanical Garden, Palermo Soho with its vibrant street art and progressive community vegetable garden fed by the city's compost and we even learned how difficult it is to score a card to ride public transportation, which, like the rest of the vehicles in the city, is rather crazy as we saw in Plaza Italia.

The food was great and it was served in such portions and we did enough walking that it never seemed like too much. We ate at a neighborhood parrilla rather than a tourist trap one. We had amazing cheese at one stop and I discovered my new favorite drink - limonada!!

The amount of meals you get and the information you learn and the sites you see for the price is phenomenal. If I had done this one my own, I would have spent significantly more, ordered incorrectly and missed the story behind the sites, not to mention a lot of the sites themselves. I cannot believe what I got for the price. ALL the meals are included in your tour price!

We had a great tour with Natalia! She made our experience relaxing and fun and had such passion for the history of Argentina and Buenos Aires. She was very knowledgeable about the city and takes the time to get to know the artists and to share their stories with us during the tour. Also accommodated our dietary restrictions with grace and was a wonderful hostess. Would recommend!

My wife and I booked the Palermo Food and Wine Tour with Asado Adventure Foods. We like the experience of guided food tours, especially when we have never been to that city before. It gives us insight into the history and culture of a place and its people. We booked the tour a year in advance with the owner Frank who was also very helpful providing information on local hotels, sights and restaurants. On the morning of the tour, we were reminded by text where to meet our guide and advised to be sure to dress comfortably and wear a hat as the weather was going to be sunny and very hot. We met our vibrant and engaging guide Natalia at a local restaurant where we enjoyed coffee and pastries while she discussed the days offering. Our day took us to the botanical gardens, where Natalia came prepared with bug spray, just in case, then past local historical sites where she took pictures of us and the sites and told us about the history of what we were seeing. We then moved on to food tastings at several local eateries, places that you would never know to stop at on your own, but at which we enjoyed delicious examples of the local food and Natalia told us about the customs surrounding food and family in Chile. Finally, we stopped for wine tasting at the Miravida Hotel and Wine Bar where Sandra, the most knowledgeable Hotel sommelier shared some delicious wines. Between the food and wine stops, Natalia took us on a tour of local wall art in the Palermo area providing us with information on the history of the area, the artists and Chile. Throughout the tour Natalia made sure to check on our comfort (it was a very hot day) and made sure we had plenty of water and shade. This was an exceptional tour and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. It was worth every peso.

Excellent food tour with an amazing guide. Our walk around Palermo district was fun and more enjoyable because Cristina, our guide, was so engaging and knowledgeable abut the area. She took us to local coffee and food shops topped off with a great wine tasting followed by fantastic gelato. Cristina’s tour was at an easy going pace that showed off the area’s beautiful street art and Italian infused culture. This was a really nice tour and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

We started our visit to Buenos Aires with this tour and it was so much better than we anticipated it would be! We are so glad we discovered it. Our guide, Josefina, was absolutely wonderful. We started at a small restaurant where we had typical medialunas and my husband had a typical drink, a submarine, which was new to us. While we ate, Josefina learned about us andmour interests and explained the tour to us. Josefina’s English is perfect and she is very knowledgeable about Buenos Aires history, culture, and food. We visited many sites that we would have never seen if it had not been for this tour. Josefina explained to us all about General Garibaldi in Plaza Italia and after giving us some of his history, she pulled out a thermos of Garibaldi drinks! Our tour included a wine tasting which was in a beautiful boutique hotel. We had a delicious steak at a little local place that we would never have chosen on our own. Throughout the tour, Josefina related history in a meaningful way and she was also able to tell us about current events in Argentina. She has a nice sense of humor. The day flew by! After the tour, Frank sent us a beautiful photo album along with more information about monuments and murals we saw. And, Josefina helped me findna store that sells those little white penguin pitchers . This tour is well worth the price. One of the best ever. Go!

Cristina was incredible. We had an amazing time and tried wonderful foods. We particularly loved the making and enjoying of maté while relaxing in the botanical garden. We loved learning more about the history and social experiences through street art. We can’t recommend this tour highly enough and hope to take friends and family the next time we visit Buenos Aires!

Frank guided us through Palermo, showing us street art while explaining the history of the neighborhood. He knew the best places to sample what the locals eat, with walks in between so you didn’t feel too full. Frank was knowledgeable, punctual and friendly. Communication with him scheduling our tour and a gaucho tour was prompt. He also informed us of the best places to buy leather and what Tango shows were worth seeing. I highly recommend his company, he made our stay in Palermo memorable.

We arrived in Buenos Aires from the United States in the morning and our hotel check in wasn't until early afternoon, so we booked a mid-morning food tour. with Asado Adventures. Perfect solution to arriving in a new city! We got breakfast, first lunch, second lunch, ice cream, and a walking tour that included some great street murals. Our guide, Juampi, was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Highly recommended way to start our Argentina trip and to introduce us to Argentina food specialties!

Delicious food we would not have found on our own, and great information from our guide Juampi. Awesome freshly made medialuna (nothing like the dry premade ones on our hotel buffet). We were a group of nine, and all the restaurants were set up for us when we arrived. The guide checked on preferences and allergies, then ordered multiple dishes and divided them among the guests. While waiting for the food, he gave us information about what we were having, and how it related to Buenos Aires culture.
In addition to the food, we toured the botanical gardens, and several sections of the Palermo neighborhood. Juampi was very knowledgeable about the various murals and the artists who created them. He was very considerate of the hot weather, and found us shade to walk in, and for stops to view monuments and artwork whenever possible. A nice plus was when he pulled out a thermos and cups and we had a Garibaldi cocktail in front of the Garibaldi statue, while telling us about the historical significance of Giuseppe Garibaldi.
Our final stop was for the best dulce de leche gelato I have ever had. Even better than from Cadore, where we had waited in line for an hour the night before, and which was rated as top 10 ice cream in the world.
I’m not going to give away the name of the gelateria, take this food tour and discover it for yourself!!
