Astonishing views with greatest local tour guide. Challenging route but easy for fitness guys. A brief culture introduction is included.

The sunrise hiking up to Lions-Head Mountain was very interesting and i learned a lot about culture, history and nature. It can sometimes be a bit challenging if you're afraid of heights. But I felt safe the whole time, thanks to our guide Codi.

It was astonishing how what we achieved! When we sign up the trip, we didn't fully apprehend what was involved to get up to the peak. Four of us went, but only three of us get up to the top. This is 1st time for me to climb the mountain like this to the summit. Without experienced tour guide like Codi, I couldn't make it! Codi is excellent guide, well planned stops and timing. He also watched all the group members carefully, gave advice and tips to climb challenge paths. We were very tired but exciting and happy to enjoy joy at the summit and rest while watching the sunset - amazing view!!

Hiking Lions Head was the highlight of our Cape Town trip! Firstly they were very accommodating with our reservation (I had to change it last minute due to an injury). Next, the experience that Kurt provided was amazing, He was patient and knowledgable, catering to all of us equally (I was clearly more scared of heights than others!). He set clear expectations of what to expect, took the right breaks and timed the hike perfectly. And the finale sunset spot was the cherry of the top. Never seen such a gorgeous sunset from such a comfortable spot that was so isolated. I wish we had more time to hike with him!

The tour was great. Codi is a great guide who does not only show you the best views but also tells you a lot of interesting facts about SA and its culture.

Codi was an absolutely brilliant guide for our sunrise walk up Lion’s head. And what an experience! He is really knowledgeable about the area and history of Cape Town which was very interesting and he had time To answer everyone’s questions and stopped several times for some great photo opportunities. Really good experience and would recommend to anyone. Also great communication before the trek to make sure everyone knew the correct starting time and location.

We absolutely loved every minute of this tour and hike up to Lions head. Kurt the guide was incredible, very knowledgeable and attentive making sure everyone felt safe on the hike. The views at the top and sunset are well worth it as well as the local knowledge that Kurt provided. Would highly recommend if you’re in Cale Town!

The highlight of our trip to Cape Town - the most incredible moonset and sunrise all at once! Codi was an amazing guide, reassuring us as we climbed ladders, rocks and navigated the path to the top. He also gave some really great information on the local area and was a great photographer at the top! Highly recommend this experience but not for people afraid of heights/climbing.

I really wanted to do a sunrise hike while in Cape Town, but was nervous to go alone so me and my friend signed up as part of a group hike where Idrees was our guide. He was super communicative and paced us really well. He also gave ample time to take pictures (and even took some for us), while still making it to the top on time. I would definitely recommend doing a guided hike with Idrees :)

The hike was amazing thanks to the incredibly wonderful guide, Kurt. He gave a great overview of what we could expect along the way and ensured everyone felt safe and secure along the route. He thoughtfully invited his wife join as he anticipated the needs of the group would vary based on age and activity level. I was the tortoise of the group but never felt stressed and hurried along. I made it to the top with their help and encouragement. The views were amazing and Kurt doubled up as a first rate photographer for all. Safe trip down in the dark with the provided headlights and Kurt waited to make sure everyone was picked up before leaving. 10 stars ⭐️ from me.
